THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESINAL COMPANY EVER. They do not properly communicate, they promise things that never happen. They mess your car up and give it back to you like that is ok. Then they say if your give us another chance we will do what we can to make it right, but in all reality it should have been done correctly the first time. The employees there do not return calls, and or communicate about your car, they will make you call them ever time. Corporate dose not have a person you talk to everything is automated. I have had the worst experience at this business.

Caliber Collision **********, IL proved to be a gem in southern Illinois. Cliff and Ryan provided excellent customer service. They texted me almost daily to give updates on the status of the repair. They assisted in the acquisition of a rental car, and had a comfortable and clean office to do business and wait. The finished product, which was detailed and polished, made my wife smile. Thank you Caliber, Cliff, and Ryan.

My car was towed to caliber to be serviced on behalf of Geico Casualty Company. My door was fixed after 12 days but I had to call several times to find the status on my car. They said they were short staffed and could not return calls. They initially estimated 14 days but suddenly it was repaired while I was on the phon inquiring about a courtesy pick up or having Geico Casualty pay for my Uber since I didn't have a rental vehicle. I requested to pick up my car after office hours and they refused to accommodate. I had to insist to speak the manager Paul B******* and they were resistant to transfer call. Finally I spoke to Paul and he said they could leave my car outside to pick up and depending on whether I have a spare key they could leave the key in my car. I told him I didn't have my spare key but wanted to pick it up on Saturday. I called again two days later and was told by adjuster Paul W******* that I could pick up. I went to the collision center with a friend to pick up my car only to find a handful of Caliber employees working and my car was locked. I had to contact AAA to open my door. When I got into my vehicle I noticed the leather strip on the passenger side by the coffee holder was chipped and a small pen hole mark left. The driver's side had black marks including my seat cover. I informed the caliber adjuster of all the inconvenience and poor service I experienced. He said they were not responsible for the damage. The entire Caliber team is very disorganized and have difficulty returning calls and they do not explain things clearly (like me getting locked out of my car and having to wait 90min for AAA). I feel they are a fraudulent company to damage my Mercedes Benz Ml 350 and not explain things! They have many complaints against them and they have no right to deny responsibility when they were the only ones keeping my vehicle. They have no business ethics; do not return calls, and do not forward photos of my car when requested several times.

To give me an update or a call back was like pulling teeth, shortages and shipping delays aside , this experience has been a nightmare , because the staff at the ********** Caliber collision is so dysfunctional, unprofessional, and absent.
Lily or whatever the female receptionist is is not a pleasant person to speak to. Nobody is forcing you to work there, if you don't want to work there , then don't work there.
Joe and Andrew take down messages but don't actually give them to who needs them . I've spoken to them multiple times and left multiple messages with both and never received a call from either Mike one of the supervisors who is also very rude, or Jeff the manager /other supervisor . After my first issue with Caliber ********** I was told by Jeff that I would received updates from him moving forward. Was told he makes calls Monday, Tuesday, Friday. Jeff never called me back once , so I called each of these days, and still never spoke/was connected to Jeff. Every time I've spoken to Jeff it's been on a Wednesday or a Thursday when I was actually able to get through.
It's clear from the top down this entire business operation is a failure. Never once was I apologized to, never once did anyone admit fault, and never once did I feel confident in this companies ability to get the job done with respect for anyones time but their own. I don't need to fabricate anything , MARK S****** GET AHOLD OF YOUR ********** BRANCH ! They're stealing your money poorly executing they're jobs so badly. Regardless if I paid out of pocket , or thru my insurance plan , which I'm sure was contracted for millions, do better. Because right now , they're falling flat on their faces and it's your name behind it. Absolute trash.

This is for my 2016 Camry special edition. I was a terrible experience why i let this body shop fix the my car. They didn't fix it the first time when i complain about the sound i hear when backing up and moving forward they requested for additional funds from my insurance so I waited for 1 month for them To fix it. They don't even bother to inform if there's any developments and the insurance has provided their request not until i was the one who push to let the funds be released. After i got my car back . The problem is still the same i dont even know if they fix it or not. They are not for the customers satisfaction. And I'm one of the unhappy customers that had a very bad experience.

      Bottom line up front:
Truck turned in for service: Jan 10th 2022
Truck returned: Still held by Caliber today (Aug 16 2022) with no clear return date, and would like accountability.

I am currently a customer working with Caliber Collision in ***********, MD as of early January 2022 when my truck was hit in an accident. I had paired the claim with GEICO & the inspection/assessment began. I also utilized a car rental in the meantime.

After the inspection, they scheduled parts to come in but gave a false deadline for when they would be in. A few weeks later after calling to get an update, they mentioned that the parts came in but found other parts that were required & had to put up another order. To note, this process of requiring more parts & saying "we don't know when the parts will be in" lasted for about 3-4 months. Caliber Collision then had to coordinate with my insurance company to request more funds than what was originally anticipated.

About month 5, June 2022, Caliber Collision said they had to take the truck to a neighboring Caliber Collision since they noticed the frame was damaged and required a new frame. They had sent it to Caliber Collision in **************, MD with, again, no timeline in sight and false promises for when it'll get done. Month 6, June 2022, the frame came in & they said it was damaged so they had to reorder another frame.

We are now on month 8, Aug 2022, and the new frame did come in but additional small parts had to be in order, yet again with no end time in sight.

A car rental thus far for about $80/mo would have cost about $20,000 by now out of my own pocket and not covered by insurance.

As a current situation update, we were told last week, 3 Aug 2022, that the truck would be ready yesterday, 10 Aug 2022. It is 16 Aug 2022 and now John from Caliber Collision in *********** says it won't be ready until 17th Aug.

Edgar A*******, an employee at Caliber Collission along with his unimpressive assistant Megan, had provided an estimate for my truck weeks ago... the estimate was approved by Travelers Insurance. After numerous emails and phone messages to get my truck scheduled for repair, Edgar said that first available repair was 2 months into the future... When I called back 10 minutes later and spoke with Megan, she said I could drop the car off Monday... and then Edgar called back and said that Caliber Collision was NOT doing any further repairs for Travelers Insurance... and then hung up on me.

Caliber Collission is being very mismanaged out of the San Diego location...
