1 starOn September 22, I was involved in a minor collision and had to exit my automobile with just minor damagea small dent near the trunk and lower portion of the car. The woman who struck me has a vehicle insurance policy with Geico. I was going to originally reject the claim because the damage was not that severe. However, ***** insurance advised me to bring my car to Calibre Collision, one of its repair vendors. Since the insured hit my car, I was assured that I would not be held responsible for the repairs. For a little dent on my car. In order to assess the damage Caliber Collision removed everything from the back of my car in order to examine the damage. Once my vehicle was successfully assessed Caliber attempted to mark my vehicle as a total loss and report it to Geico, causing more damage to my vehicle then when I dropped it off. This company is purposely price, gouging customers and reporting it to insurance in order to mark the vehicle as a loss so theyre able to flip it for profit. there is a link for customers to view the assessment value of the damage and it tripled in price overnight. Due to Virginia 75% vehicle value law, ***** refused to fix my vehicle and threatened me to drop the claim. I even attempted to tell Caliber Collision I would like another assessment and they refused to take off mischellaneous fees like paint supplies and paint job which I didnt request. Do not go to this company EVER!Review fromKrena P

1 starI took my car here to be repaired, first thing is they kept for almost month. They keep you updated on the status as they go along. When I picked my car up I noticed everything was disheveled, my glove compartment was a mess, it appeared someone went through it. I looked in my coin holder someone stole all my quarters!!!!!! I understand the policy of not leaving personal items in your car, but clearly this was an inside job. I will never bring my car here again. The only reason I did is because its in network with my insurance. So disappointed! The ****** **** called me and told me it happened, its over and done with, now get over it! Wow Buyer beware!!Review fromravelle g

1 starTerrible experience. Please take your business elsewhere. I had to bring my car in three times and the repairs are still not complete. My service advisor was horrible: poor or non-existent communication and dishonesty (gave conflicting excuses on the poor service, all starting with "To be honest with you..."). The ** was no help when I sought help to get the repairs completed. When I picked up my car the final time, it had four nearly flat tires and a chemical haze covered the windshield. Very angry and frustrated customer here.Review fromSina S

1 starCame to caliber for my car to be repaired because it's who the insurance company recommended. Not only was there so many issues that went unrepaired. I was lied to at every step. Come to find out now almost a year later and I am still finding issues that did not get fixed. I had brought my car back so many times the district manager came to help yet here I am still with issues. One of the WORST companies to go through for repair work. Will be contacting my insurance to have them either total my car at this point like it should have been or demand a repair at a shop of my choice.Review fromJuliet E

1 starWe have a ****** Tacoma that they have had since 3/26/2024. they provided an estimated completion date of around 4/25/24. We received a call 3 weeks that they need a front radiator support that was on back-order with no projected date from ******. The service advisor said he would keep us updated on a weekly basis. we had to call every week just to be told we would "get a call back" or would be placed on such a long hold that we would hang up. my insurance stopped paying for my rental vehicle, as our policy only covers up to 30 days, and I was then paying out of pocket for my rental. In May, we continue to call, only to be told the part is still on backlog with no estimated delivery date. We asked them to extend their search beyond the greater ********** area and they refused. At this point, I had spent over $3K on a rental car since it was my only means of transportation to my job. we could no longer afford to make the payments on a rental car and instead purchased a vehicle as it was cheaper than paying rental rates. In June, we got so tired of waiting that we decided to source the part ourselves. I had a family friend purchase the part from a ****** Dealership in ********** and delivered to the shop, who agreed to weld the part into the truck. The technician promised the job would be done within 7 days of delivery. In July, My husband got fed up with getting the run around, so he went into the shop personally. He spoke with the Regional Manager, **** ********, who told us the part was not even welded in yet, even though they promised it would be done over a month ago, and it still needs to go into paint, re-assembly, and recalibration. He promised us the truck would be completed no later than July 31, 2024. we called the shop again. ****** told us the truck was still in paint, but that it still needed to undergo re-assembly and recalibration. He told us the truck would not be done for the foreseeable future. Truck is still not repaired to this date, 9/1/2024.Review fromJaime R

1 starThey have had my car for the past 3 months when my car went into their autobody shop it went in there for a small crack in the fuel tank. They started working on my car without my consent or showing me any estimate they just did 3 months later they came up with a $21,000.00 estimate Wich I found ridiculous. after finally getting a chance to look and going over the estimate I was left with no words to see all the "repairs" they had done to my poor car from cutting the frame and welding it back together to changing my OEM headlight for some cheap aftermarket not only that every single part they changed on my car they changed it for an aftermarket, when to beging with there was nothing wrong with the parts they replaced and it wasn't even part of the incident. Let alone to top my frustration they lied for the past two months saying they were waiting for parts for the car when in reality what happened it's they messed up my car and now it won't turn on! Let it be noted my car was drivable when they took it to the shop it had no problems but a fuel leak. now they wanna charge those $21,000.00 and then refer the vehicle to ***** so they can figure out what's wrong with my car now they won't be responsible after the vehicle leaves their shop it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Be careful who you let work on your vehicles unfortunately I didn't had a chance to choose since the insurance adjuster and the autobody shop made all those decisions with out even asking me or letting me know what was going on.Review fromJoseph S

1 starTook my car in for repairs because it's who the insurance company recommended. I was quoted roughly $860 and 2 days to repair the damage. It ended up being $1700(ish) and 5 days to repair the damage. I was never updated on the additional damage uncovered during the repairs and was instead blind sided by the additional 900$ owed when I went to pick up the car. If they had just called and properly communicated throughout the repair process I wouldn't have been as upset. I was also told the regional manager would call me after this entire debacle to talk about what happened, but this also never happened. I legitimately feel as though I've been scammed and this place might be one of the most prolific racketeering schemes of all time. The only bright spot throughout this process was the gal working the front desk, who tried to get the regional manager to come down in price a few hundred dollars. Unfortunately, it appears caliber collision cannot spare the few hundred dollars and is more than willing to ruin their reputation with the surrounding community.Review fromFlaka P

1 starThe first time I took my car to caliber collision was due to a car hitting my car while it was parked they worked on Autobody and my insurance covered for that. When I got my car back 2 days later my car broke down. I called caliber collisions and let them know what was going on they said you can tow the car in the shop so we can see whats going on with it. So thats what I did. They called me and said that the issue was a mechanic issue and that I would have to pay out of pocket if I wanted them to fix it. I paid ***** ruffly around that. When I got my car back it made the same noise it made before it broke down and it was still making the same clicking noise as well and also the air conditioning still wasnt working that well either. I did not know I had warranty until I took it to another shop and they instructed me to take it back because I had warranty on it. I took it back the second time they worked on it they did not give me any paper work and the issue still was not fixed the third time when I took it back they didnt give me any paper work for that time either and the issue still wasnt fixed. The forth time I took it back the manager **** says that they did everything they could do and that they would have to get a second opinion and that they will cover for that. The forth time I took my suv to **** quality care and still the issue was not fixed. Couple days later the air in my car stops working completely. I called **** and he said to bring the car back in. I dropped my keys at the front desk with the lady and I left for a couple hours when I came back my car was still parked the same exact parking spot and **** says the issue isnt from the accident its your motor. I told them that I wanted my money back since they could not fix the issue. He was very rude nasty and unprofessional and told me to get out. All I want is my money back so I can take it to another shop to get it fixed. The treatment I got from them I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy.Review fromKayla H

1 starI have been without my car for 2 plus months. Somebody broke into my car broke my ignition and my dash board. I called caliber collision to see if they could take my car because I was already getin the tow truck from my insure to come get it. I had to fax over my insurance paper to them. So it went from 10days to 30 days once my car got in the hands of caliber collision. So Im like ok I can do 30 days, my original pick up date was suppose to be july 3, or 4th. My 30days was here an passed! Boom **** from caliber tells me that is was a cyber attack for all dealerships so my piece got caught in that wen that happen! So my piece took 3 weeks to get here. The piece get here its the wrong piece. Not sure if why they ordered a push to start an I dont have a push to start. So they had to send that piece baq. Within all of this I asked ********** said when yall get the piece how long will it take. Itll take a day to get fixed. Boom the correct piece is here, from the time the piece got here it went from one day fix to a week in half to be fixed remind you Im pass my 30days. I speak to **** again an his manager says that your car was brought in undrivable so itll be up to 60 days. I was never told this wen they got my car. So I went from 10days from insurance to 30 wen caliber got it then up to 60 afterwards! So after they quote on quote said the piece was finally in the car has to go to ******* because they gotta program the keys , they new this because wen i called an told them what happen with my car an its on my insurance papers. They knew they was gone have to send it to the dealer! I was gone send it to dealer but they wasnt taking cars atm. So remember the agreement was to get updates everyday, every time I call **** it aint never no update, its a waitin process there is no urgency or Nthn to hurry up with my car. ******* has had my car for two weeks now. They had to go behind caliber because they broke the piece they put in. Worst service ever.Review fromJoseph B

1 starThis has been an awful experience from the start. When I came in, I explained that I was doing a large amount of repairs on my home and did not want my vehicle tied up for more than *************************************** a very negative fashion. I was not going to leave the vehicle unless it was guaranteed that I would have it back. Also when I made the initial appointment, I stated that I was only coming in for an estimate. Did not intend to leave my vehicle if they couldnt give me a safe estimate. When they said they would not just do an estimate that the vehicle had to stay and wait for Parts. I told them I would just go someplace else so they called the technician from the back to speak to me **** who walked out to my truck with me and looked at the damage. He said in no uncertain terms it would be back in 10 days . Here I am now 8 days after the vehicle was supposed to be back in my hands and ** getting a call that the decals they told me they had previously now suddenly they dont have them. They were kind enough to tell me that I could accept this partial work and exceptionally poor customer service, but Im certain theyre going to accept 100% payment from the insurance company. Clearly, Im going to contact my insurance company because I dont trust these guys and they are exceptionally shady. I would advise everyone else to avoid doing business with them .As a side note, my wife has used Caliber Collision on ************** in ************** before, and they did a great job and they didnt have any drama. I am not sure if it is justthis shop and the people here or if the company is now too big for quality control.
