I paid off my car loan and tried to cancel recurring payment but was blocked by the website. Today, I was charged again. I have contacted both Toyota and my bank to reverse the payment but received no response, as neither have accessible, live contact options. Additionally, the Toyota website is inaccessible and liable to be sued for *** violations under Section 508.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

Cant give zero stars. This is a domestic terrorist company that call for bills that are not past due they purposefully delay mail and put ridiculous request they gave me a six dollar per diem a day at ten and two and a half hours later it magically was 13 dollars? They are scum that are dishonest and maliciously try to take advantage of people for theyre own bottom line. This is a disgraceful company and should be sued and ran out of *******. I cant believe they get away ruining a ******************* with the most crooked bank ran operation Ive ever seen. A ten year old on a iPad could do better. Our records indicate our customer entered into a Retail Installment Sale Contract Simple Finance Charge (contract) with Toyota Financial Services (TFS) on May 3, 2022. The contract also includes an Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of *****%. It is important for *************************** to understand that interest is accrued on a daily basis for this type of loan. Furthermore, pursuant to your contract, you acknowledged that you read the entire contract and agreed to all of its terms and conditions, referencing page 4 (four), section 1 (one), "Payments Before or After Scheduled Due Date," it reads, "This means that the amount of the Finance Charge may vary. The Finance Charge and Total of Payments shown on page one of the contract are based on the assumption that all payments are made when due." As of the date of this response, the last payment to post to the account was May 4, 2023. Interest has accrued daily since the previous payment. Your current daily interest is $13.89. Each time you make a payment your daily interest is recalculated. We have mailed a copy of the transaction history connected to this account along with a simple interest brochure for review to the system address. Absolutely disgusting institution. Was a loyal customer for 10+ years and they screwed me over and held onto my car by saying I was not paying my lease (because they removed my autopay info on my account and I had to re-enter it). While this was the case, I was never informed until they REPOSSESSED my car. Not a single phone call, email, or piece of mail to warn me on late payments. August 11, 2023 Contact Name: ******************************* ******************** of Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is in receipt of the complaint filed against Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (****) and TFS regarding the repossession of their vehicle and concerns with not receiving proper notice.A lease maturity extension was approved on February 6, 2023, per our customers request. The extension document provided to our customer is specific in regards to important payment information: "Payments made through the TFS/LFS Website: Your bank account information deletes from the website once the original Maturity Date is reached. Payment can be set up again after the website reflects the revised Maturity Date."We did not receive their payment for the months of April, May, and June 2023. As a result, their vehicle was approved for repossession.In compliance with repossession laws, TFS sent the required Cure Notices before the repossession took place. All Cure Notices were returned to TFS by **** due to being undeliverable" to the system address on June 2, 2023, August 1, 2023, and August 10, 2023.Pursuant to the lease contract signed for the referenced vehicle, if a customer defaults on payments, we may take possession of the vehicle as permitted by law and require our customer to pay the amounts set forth in the contract.We realize this may not be the response you desired, but we hope our above reply has resolved this matter amicably.Please know that Toyota Financial Services strives for excellence in customer satisfaction. CRIMINALS! The website does not indicate how to make a payoff amount. I posted the amount and they didn't take it. I called them. the agent said I first had to pay $4999.00 then make the pay off amount. So I did that. STILL they would not take the pay off amount. Long story short, $4999.00 is the largest online payment you can make. if your payoff is above that, you have to make multiple payments until the payoff amount is less than $4999.00 FURTHERMORE. AFTER the final payment, they STILL TOOK the next autopayment STEALING yet another payment from my bank account. They THEN claimed it would take **** business days before they could send me my money, the MONEY THEY STOLE plus the $18 over the final amount I sent to ensure it was completely paid off. First and foremost, we would like to congratulate ********************* on the payoff of the above-referenced account number.Our records reflect their automatic recurring payment of $765.09, processed and approved by *********************, starting on July 20, 2022, when they initiated the automatic payment via our 100% customer-driven website. We acknowledge that they paid in full on July 27, 2023; however, the payoff was in process, and therefore the authorized payment was processed as scheduled.Additionally, please know on July 31, 2023, TFS issued check #******** for $13.19, which is the overpayment after their July 27, 2023, payment of $1,836.81.********************* was correctly informed about the timeframe for the refund of this recurring payment. This institution is horrible to to the consumer. The website/app do not allow you to make extra payments towards the principle. And when you make double payments or throw extra monies at the payment. Even if it's let say $90. TFS puts that towards interest only. So on next billing cycle the interest charges are on the lien which you though would've be -$90 lower instead it's not. Happened to me twice with two double payments. Where only 1/4 went to principle an rest to interest. I had to call twice to have it adjusted. And now since adjusting that I'm being told I have a missed payment an this months payment and it's just a horrible institution to deal with. They are legitimately stealing consumer's monies. I will never consider any vehicle from any Toyota dealership again for rest of my life an I've already passed this information onto my family as well. Please pay attention to your statements an check your online account. Since I keep a file of what I paid I was able to catch the math not adding up to what I have paid vs what TFS said I still owed on the vehicle.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

Our records reflect that *********************** called TFS on June 30, 2023, to request payment adjustments. Upon review, we found an inadvertent administrative error that caused their account to be placed in a past-due status. We have corrected this error, and they can confirm the adjustment via the website on or about Tuesday, August 1, 2023.*********************** may continue to pay additional funds towards their principal through their online account at www.toyotafinancial.com and request that any funds beyond their regular monthly payment be applied directly to the principal.Please note that this is a two-step process. First, they must submit their regular monthly payment, and then, as a separate step, submit the additional payment towards the principal. This step was missing from their first attempt on January 23, 2023.Additionally, *********************** can calculate the Simple Interest loans as follows: they should take their outstanding balance, shown on the billing statement, and multiply it by the APR. They should then divide that number by 365 (the number of days in a year). This will give them their per diem (daily interest). *********************** would then multiply their per diem by the number of days since the last payment. I have been trying to register my car since May. Its July and Toyota Financial has been failing me. Each time, I have AAA fax them the transfer request and each time, I call back a few days later to see if theyve received the fax, which they never do. The employees are unhelpful with this, as they tell me to keep trying the same thing. I have confirmed fax numbers several times to make sure theyre being sent to the right place. I have ad a few loans for cArs with Toyota financial, trying to get an answer to a question about your account is undoable! I have called numerous times and am given the same answer every time 2-7 business days to fix , I have heard that since June 14, 2023, and nothing has changed , we are now being told we are past due , which we are not ! I have all the confirmation numbers to prove it ! Apparently that does t matter, it will still take forever , in the meantime this could show up on my excellent credit rating ! Its been over a month still no progress . I wish I had read these reviews before taking the loan through themToyota Motor Credit Corporation
