I would give zero stars if I could. Both my wife and I have had so many issues trying to pay thr monthly bills for our 2022 Highlander. Their website and app have not been working for at least the last three months. We are looking to take a higher intetest rate with our credit union because of how poorly run this company is. Questioning doing any business with Toyota in the future. Total joke of a company, terrible customer service.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

Horrible record keeping, can't talk to a supervisor even if you wait an hour on the phone. We requested a deferral and have been given misinformation regarding policy since March. Trying to rectify the issue leads to dead ends and call center employees who don't know anything about the account. Pile on top multiple calls with robomachines that come sometimes twice a day, it's infuriating considering you can't get someone who can actually help you! When you can talk to someone they don't have much about the account outside of last payment. No one seems to communicate efficiently, as our account is constantly being looked at without any mention of our requests to stop calling during work hours and the request for deferral isn't logged. I would stay clear of TFS, unless you want a headache and an endless loop of unanswered questions ad concernsToyota Motor Credit Corporation

I had a total loss vehicle that occured March 15, 2023. It was a lease, very similar situation compared to what others have stated below. My insurance provider cut two checks, one for the amount that was still owed on the vehicle and the other for my overage. 2 weeks later Toyota sent a second letter stating they reassessed the value of the vehicle, and apparently, they believe it's a difference of around $180 from the original amount the vehicle was assessed the value of. Therefore, my insurance provider had to issue a stop payment on the second check for the overage owed to me because there was a difference in price. I already had the refund check in my hand for approximately $6700. Now they tell me not to cash that and wait for a second check for 7 to **************************************************************** resolutions, customer service, whoever, tells me the same **** thing...your check refund is being reviewed by a manager. Well apparently the check my insurance provider send the thrid go around, never got marked for refund to me, so I've been waiting since April for funds that are just floating around in their company somewhere that are due to ME! I really loved this vehicle, but I tell you, I now will never purchase from Toyota ever again. I was a life long avid toyota driver, that ended months ago......HERE STILL WAITING FOR MY $7K or whatever amount it is......ridiculous. Still waiting for a manager to approve my refund!!!!Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

So my husbands car was just stolen while working his sales manager position. 2020 Toyota Camry. 2pm in the afternoon someone was able to access his vehicle on a busy street in broad daylight and drive away. My husband had his keys but was silly enough to leave his valuables in the car because he thought it was safe. That he would be right back after dealing with a few customers. But his vehicle was gone. As were his belongings. I panicked. Called Toyota while he dealt with the police. Was on the phone for almost an hour. Spoke to maybe 4 different departments. Finally they said that I didnt have the services that could locate the car but I could initiate them and they would be able to find it. 30 min and a different representative later and all of a sudden they cant help with finding the vehicle because I didnt pay for the services when I purchased the car 3 years ago. I didnt know 3 years ago that strangers would be able to access my vehicle. Toyota has contacted my husband several times trying to buy back our car. Theres a definite safety deficit. Be warned. And dont depend on Toyota to help you..Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

I leased a car from Sewell Lexus in August 2021 and paid the entire lease up front. The car was totaled on 1/27/23. Lexus Financial demanded that Travelers Insurance give them the entire purchase price of the car, not the pay off/residual, despite the fact that they had 19 months of my unamortized lease. After going round and round about this because the insurance company wanted to pay them only the residual and then pay me the difference, Travelers finally sent them a check for the original purchase price on 2/23/23. I was told by a LFS customer service rep that it would take 7-10 days for Lexus to process Travelers' check after receiving it, then it would be held for 13 days to be sure the funds were good (!), and then it would be another 7-10 days before a refund check would be processed and then sent to me. On approximately 3/29, I called LFS and was told a check had been cut on 3/16 and that I should wait until 3/31 to give it a full 15 days to get to me. I called back on 3/31 and was told by another customer service rep that she tells people to give it 30 days because "the mail has been so bad since Covid". I asked to have payment expedited via wire/ACH and was told LFS only deals in paper and that if I were to cancel, the process would start over and the request would take 7-10 days and then one could be sent to me via some sort of express method. So on 4/4, I called back with the finance director from Sewell and we got yet another minion, who talked to his supervisor and said that they would try to speed up the processing period and that it would be reasonable for me to receive my check by Tuesday 4/11. That was yesterday and still no check has come. This is beyond ridiculous, especially given that TMCC is located just up the road in Plano, meaning that I should have received a check IF IT WAS EVER SENT in 2 days max. They have intentionally held over $20,000 that has never belonged to them, which in my mind, is theft. There is NO EXCUSE for this whatsoever!Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (TMCC) is in receipt of the review submitted by ******* ***** regarding her dissatisfaction with the service she received after a total loss from Lexus Financial Services (LFS).
Lexus Financial Services (LFS) received notification of a total loss for ******* *****’s 2021 Lexus NX300 on February 10, 2023. The reported date of loss for the vehicle was on January 27, 2023. On March 8, 2023, LFS received the total loss check from Traveler’s insurance.
Our records reflect on March 15, 2023, the surplus check was mailed to ******* *****’s address on file; however, the check was not received and on April 6, 2023, a new check was mailed. Toyota financial team apparently doesn't want you to talk to managers.... I paid on the 10th of March and on the 16(six days later!!!!) They send back my funds and delete my bank account from my profile. Then after 5 days of calling and trying to figure it out all they are willing to do is wave late fees. This is the third time they have messed up my monthly income and they don't care how it effects people they just want there money. I asked to speak to management and they pretty much gave me a run around and refused to have management call me and work with me. Not a bussiness for customers just another money grubbing company apparently.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

Leased a vehicle from Lexus as a military service member and moved temporarily to ******** for service but at all times was a legal resident of another state and paid income, property, and registration fees outside of the *****************. Car was never registered in ********. Consulted Lexus military line before my temporary move and they assured me I wouldnt need to change the address or registration or pay additional taxes. Lexus WRONGFULLY and ERRONEOUSLY told ******** the car was on the state and had a personal property tax assessed on it as of Jan ************************************************************************ on my military service. I was told by Tacoma Lexus all Lexus Financial needed from me to fix this was a copy of my military orders. I did that, and the debt department send a request to the ******** tax office to refund for erroneously payment and because ******** said no due to erroneous payment, Lexus came after me and threatened to send it to debt collections. No one was helpful and the dispute resolution line was a young kid that was talking down to me and reading law off the internet at me (I am an actual lawyer and he isnt) instead of giving me real options. Not to mention, this was all after I had already terminated the contract and I dont legally believe they can have a provision requiring action after contract satisfaction and termination. However, Lexus will threaten you and your credit score and come after the little guy who now cant afford their bills because his month due to this mess up and complete lack of care on their part. Disgusting way to treat customers and military members. I had been a loyal Lexus customer for many years and three cars and I will not longer be. I am also in the process of reporting to the ******** AGs Office, the media, and the military.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation
