My son-in-law had purchased a few items from Rent-A-Center. They have since moved from our house over a month ago due to issues with product being used andnot new like Rent-A-Center has stated they have contacted corporate about this matter. Since then we have come home every few days and found a tag from Rent-A-Center on our doors. We have contacted Rent-A-Center on numerous occasions to advise them that they no longer with us. They stated they will still come to our home. Last conversation with one of Rent-A-Centers employees turned volatile and degradative by Rent-A-Center employee. All I did was advise them that they no longer live with us and that if they keep harassing us, we would involve the cops because thisis our property and we had nothing to do with the initial purchase. We have notified our son-in-law about the Rent-A-Center showing up. He is anadult and he will take care of It. I am requesting restitution of them just leaving my son-in-law alone since they will not stop harassing and for them to see some assist, coming to ourhome.

I rented a chair from Rent-A-Center on ******** in ******** from 3/24/25 to 4/8/25. The store manager, Larovi *****, explained the contract was weekly and asked how long I needed the chair. I estimated 6 weeks and opted to pay in full to avoid weekly charges on my credit card. ****** agreed and processed the payment. After my surgery, I recovered faster than expected and called Larovi on 4/6/25 to request an early pickup and a refund for the unused 4 weeks. He refused, stating no refunds were available. I contacted customer support, and they assured me the district manager, ******* ****, would call within ***** hours. That same day, a delivery worker picked up the chair but damaged my hardwood floors.Since Larovi was unhelpful, I planned to address both issues with *******. Almost a week later, on 4/14/25, I had yet to receive a call, so I contacted customer support again, who patched me through. When discussing my request for reimbursement, ******* reiterated Larovis stance and blamed me for paying upfront. I also mentioned the floor damage, to which ******* responded, Well, this sounds convenient since you are just now mentioning this since I wont give you a refund. Given that he had delayed his response for almost a week, his insinuation that I was dishonest was infuriating. When I raised my voice, he said he didnt have to listen and hung up.I am requesting a refund for the 4 unused weeks and compensation for my damaged floors. Attached are photos showing the damage.

I am rejecting this response because:   There is an outstanding insurance claim that the adjuster is sending to Rent-A-Center today.  Once the claim has been processed, I will happily agree to close the complaint.  Thank you for the reimbursement of $75 but the estimate for fixing the damage to the floors is close to $4200.  There's also a cost for moving the furniture that I'm unsure of, but this will be a part of the final estimate from the adjuster.

I was advised same day delivery in couches. Previous items damaged due to catastrophic flood. Pictures of damage items sent and I was informed claim was submitted. I made payment with understanding couches were ready for delivery.I moved from previous address. I had already informed rent a center of damages and was advised to not worry they would be replaced. I am concerned that rent a center reselling damaged furniture. They are now saying they won't deliver same day because it is important to pick up damaged items. I'm not there and they want to go and check. I think that is very unprofessional after pictures were sent and damages were reported. My family and I have gone through enough stress and loss due to this flood. I understand, I had them insured. I asked for those items to be removed from my balance. I don't see why rent a center waited last minute to say they wanted damaged items. When they new I was moving. The apartment was unhabitable and I was asked to move out. Bugs, fungus, and sewage water all around. I was given the understanding items would be taken off my balance and I can start with new ******** previous address was ******************************************************** address is *******************************************.

On April 9, 2025, I placed an order on Rent-A-Centers website to rent a couch, paid the fees, and submitted all required documents: lease (residency), paystub (income), and my U.S. passport (ID). The website lists a passport as valid ID.On April 11, a *** from the local store called to review documents. I was told my passport wasnt acceptable and only a drivers license would be accepted, which is not stated on their website. I emailed my license but asked why the passport was rejected. No clear answer was given.I was placed on hold, and since Georgia is a one-party consent state, I began recording. No one returned to the call, which disconnected. When I called back, I was told my application was denied because I recorded the call.Customer service later claimed its internal policy to deny applications if a customer recordsbut admitted the policy isnt posted or available in writing. This feels deceptive and arbitrary.Desired Resolution:Written explanation of their ID policy and why my passport was rejected.Copy of the alleged recording policy.Reconsideration of my denied application.Clear public disclosure of any internal policies that impact service.

I reserved a chest freezer at the Rent A Center branch in **** located at ********************************** in advance of my family vacation trip. I was told it would arrive in the morning of 4/9 th. I called at noon and was told that an employee had a "personal emergency" and it would be here by 2.30 PM the latest. At 2.24 PM I was told it was 20 minutes out. I told ******* at the store that I had food which was rapidly defrosting. He assured me it was on its way. Again the same story at 3 PM. at 5.09 it was arriving in 35 minutes. I saw a Rent-A Center truck and asked the driver "*****" if he had my freezer. He asked my name and then said it never left the store and he doesn't know why ******* would say that. ***** said no delivery was likely today. I told him I had much food that was spoiling. He shrugged. We went to ******* and purchased the same size chest freezer for ****** I will have to pay additionally to ship it back home after my vacation is over. I am seeking the price I paid for the freezer because I was deliberately lied to all day long by ******* and had to go and buy a replacement for their deceit so that 1000's of dollars of my food for my trip did not spoil. ******* then told my husband he had no intention of sending anything today.
