I'm a customer since 2011 . Bought and paid for all my things no problem. My store *************. Recently merged with *************. Without letting there customers know what was going on. I pay auto so I would not know they moved. I did notice they missed taken my payments 2 times before I found out what happened. In the mean time my bed broke for the second time. So I called to see when they can pick it up.this was11/29 a tuesday Talked to them ask how much I owed they told me. I said i will pay thursday 12/1 Okay the pick up was Wednesday fine. They come to pick the bed up the next day. Taken it apart All of the sudden they telling me they gotta take my whole bedroom set and anything else I own for them. I'm like what! Yes this man who don't know me never talk to me before told me I had to empty all my stuff out and give it back I said my payment due tomorrow . He told me he don't want my money like I was a *** who did not pay her bill. I'm so mad because I have no bed my stuff is all over the floor cause I have no where to put me and my husband stuff cause thes people could not wait a day one day. I'm not a ***. I'm humiliated and embarrassed and for what. I pay my bill this is they mistake and I had to pay for there irresponsible behavior. I'm not pleased. They send me a letter now12/6 saying they coming for my washer and dryer I will go to jail before I give them my washer and dryer it's *** near pd. For. I'm never and I mean never buying nothing ever again they can have the bedroom set shove it. They not getting my washer dryer period. I still may *** them for messing with character they have really stressed me out with this living out of a bag. I need to know what to do?Rent-A-Center, Inc.

I have been a loyal customer for quite some time here in the ********** ** area. I have not been 100% on time but I always pay and catch up. Yesterday was very stressful for me. I am recovering from COVID and that is a financially as well. My husband and I both were off a total of 7 days. Yesterday my 5yr old has flu and in the time answering the phone my son throws up on my foot and I had just hung up paying my car payment which took my whole check! I was beat down spiritually and frustrated so I was very snappy with the guy. I'm human! However, the store manager told me I was rude and always late and he didn't want to be bothered with my account to bring it to him. I was shocked and I told him I could pay on Monday and he said NO! He would rather loose me as a customer. I have never had a customer service representative tell me that cause I normally don't get loud but I was completely over being an adult and I never call or come in so why you upset with me? I do everything online. I'm still mentally upset about this. I always get things from the high point store.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

Rent a center in Bath **.. had changed how I pay to autopay, on Nov 25 2022. I called and complained to the manager. He took a late payment that was due on Nov 19th and he took a payment that WAS NOT DUE , WITHOUT OUT MY AUTHORIZATION ! Yes he did do that ! He said that " he changed it to autopay so that I would not have a late fee ! THE PAYMENT WAS NOT EVEN DUE AND HE TOOK THE MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT ! He had done this before and I told him.. " if you do it again, I will file a report with the BBB". Well , this is the 3rd time he did this and here I am. I have been a loyal customer to that store . I've made 5 purchases from them. Enough is enough. A store should not be able to change one's account and take payments on something that is not even due yet ! I wish the headquarters would look into on how he's running the store ! If you rent from the Bath ** store... keep an eye on how you pay and an eye on your bank account.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

Got tires from them and now my rear end on my vehicle is ruined makes noises never did the alignment like they were suppose to and my vehicle is AWD so the tires they had put on are shot.they told me it would cost 800 total and they are charging me almost **** for tires and I'm not paying for them I refuse to.i would never recommend anyone to go through them.and if something doesn't get done about i will plaster them all over social media and every news station possible.they are horrible.now they call me 5,6,7 times a day harassing me.next will be a law suit if something don't get done.ill never in my entire life go through them again.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

Our fridge has gone out leaking freon etc... an to keep milk an eggs etc cold we have ti use the freezer part the doesn't freeze but stays cool but bottom part the fridge doesn't cool at all an was trying ro get a new fridge w renta center an was given nothing but issues ... it's awful how some treat costumers.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

my order was placed and paid for over a month ago, I have yet to receive the item , it is at the store however and paid for!! But a particular worker is declining to hand it over because he said that I went behind him and ordered it online . These gentlemen are always rude and unprofessional, and the last straw was racial slur I overheard as I entered this store, this store needs a serious overhaul, I will continue to reach out until something is done!Rent-A-Center, Inc.

2 weeks agoTHE MANAGER DOGGED ME OUT!!! I have had a great relationship until now. I am sorry , but I'm compelled to delete my previous 5 star review and revise my opinion to 1 star. Should I change stores or return my merchandise? Fact is I'm otherwise pleased with my purchases. This entire situation was unnecessary and only required a NO! The Impetus was emergent. I was somewhat desperate and needed tires because I experienced a blowout and needed to replace my tires. To be clear. I didn't want to buy tires at that time, and certainly NOT from a rent to own business. I'm dumb enough to be a good customer at the same. This situation has left me feeling BRUSHED OFF, and HUMILIATED. NOT TO MENTION ANGRY! **** shame. I did not want to write this review, but this platform facilitates an avenue for me to express my complete disgust with this occurrence. This is not issue over payments or dissatisfaction with my purchases, it's matter of respect In fairness, I have never had any reason to complain before now. GREAT store, otherwise superfluous customer service and management, awesome availability of quality merchandise and continuously getting better. Especially on the *** website! I am profoundly regretful that I had this experience. I will be returning some of my purchases. This manager has never behaved this way.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

Horrible customer service. Was lied to about what I would be paying for my rental agreement. When my sectional was dropped off the delivery person was extremely rude, called me **** stupid for not measuring the area it was going in but that it wasn't their **** problem and that we couldn't return it. Tried to get the weekly payment changed to what I was originally sold on which was 160$ a month but the manager there came up with 200-250$ a month because that's what it would be when you added up the weekly payments. When I told the manager that is not what I wanted or led to believe I signed up for and was told too bad. And now when I pay my insurance policy I keep getting asked for a survey twice in log in after asking them to stop because my rating is not going to change and that I felt it was harassment to be constantly asked to fill out said survey. I will NEVER go through rentacenter again. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone I know or casually pass by on the street.Rent-A-Center, Inc.
