      I rented a ** from the rent a center in ***** **. Unfortunately due to losing my job of 8 years I was no longer able to pay for the *** I have been busy getting my oldest son to college qnd traveling back and forth. My youngest son was home he's 15 and the guy the manager from rent a center sent to pick up the tv was banging on my door so loud he scared the life out of my son. He was demanding that my son tell him where I was, as if he'd come hurt me. Seems much for a job. The manager ******** is now threatening me with the cops and I explained the ** fell as result of this guy banging on the door my Son went to grab the ** and dropped it. Very unprofessional lady this ******** manager at ***** **. I called corporate and spoke to a manager that was very pleasant a few months back and I told him ******** should not be a manager as she is very aggressive. He said she was having a bad day but he assured me she was great. Unfortunately this is a corporation issue as they allow this women to treat customers like animals and not showing compassion to what people are going g through in life in these times of need. Stay away from this store ******** is a disgusting human and I pity if she has a husband poor soul.

      Rent A Center is the worse business ever!!! ********** ** rent a center is the absolute worst!!! They make it look like you're not paying you're stuff on time, then want to take you're stuff back because they didn't hold up their end of the deal they give you. My mom got a tv from them recently, told her she had to pay $26 on the 22nd of October, had the money on the card and everything, they never took it off, and then tried to make it look like it was something faulty on our end, then said that it was supposed to been $50? I'm trying to figure out where is the $50 coming from if y'all didn't agree to no $50 and only agreed $26, i want this business to go out of business and somebody take over the business and change the name from that to something else! They don't need to be in business no more!!! SHUT RENT A CENTER DOWN!!!!!

      Be ready to receive phone calls from these people until the end of time. I rented one thing, short term, and no intention of ever renting anything else ever again. Now a year later, they still called me multiple times a week at times, to "share a new promotion," to see if I would rent something else from them. I have requested MANY times not to receive anymore calls from them, and they just tell me they'll see what they can do but "they have no control over it." Fabulous.

      Absolutely horrible business the one in ********** **** will blow you up for a payment but when you decide to switch to rent to own because they're cheaper they ignore calls. And are now a week late on the scheduled pickup ...had them show up and decided not to knock and just left. Have been transferred to 4 to 5 different managements. Complained to the district manager **** himself who was NO help. Said he'd call back with a resolution. Not sure what else I can do about their stuff just sitting here

      They claimed we was approved took my money and then said we skipped out on payments with something and said they had to do more research after we scheduled it to be delivered. I will never rent anything from them again.

      Went to Morrisville rent a center in ******* for a TV and bedroom set was promised a date and time for today 10/01/2022 by ****** the store manager and was told that the store was closing at 5:00 pm instead of the regular closing time when I called the store ****** answered the phone saying hello we are not doing anymore deliveries instead of saying "thank you for calling rent a center this is ****** how may I help you" was very unprofessional and did not seem like he knew how to do his job correctly

      Is the worst Rent-A-Center I have ever rented from. **** is a lazy "Store Manager" who just sits around all day then hops in his expensive car and almost hits pedestrians daily I have watched this happen I work across the street. I'm tired of coming into this store and seeing the lameness of the store lack of interest from all employees. Always calling me when my payment is due the same day every week? How is that a good morale ? I know it's due I signed a contract!!! Stop with the poor service you want me to pay 2-3x's retail price that's fine but it's no excuse to be lazy and treat your customers poorly. If I could give this a 0 star I would this is getting out of hand. Someone needs to train these people. No college degree to run store? No wonder these places have the worst retention than any job besides laborers. I've tried to get ahold of the district manager ********************? But the dude down plays every situation so he doesn't have to do his job. I've even been told the dude hires new people and doesn't even come around for 2+ years. The biggest issue I have with **** at store 816 is that he's lazy. His response to not being able to pay that day is that it's getting picked up and he refuses to help out. I'm done with this company. I will not be returning. Thank you for reading.
