      I received several phone calls from a debt collection company representing a payday loan who stated that I owe them some money and if I didn't pay it they would garnish my wages and take ***** I don't owe anything They wouldn't give me any info such as phone numbers for the payday loan.l when i asked for info The debt collection company told me they were handling the case for the payday loan I suppose to have taken out. I have no recollection of any loan.

      Over the past week I have received non-stop calls from a third party who says I have an account with ************************ that I never paid. I was told if I do not pay $722 my wages will be garnished and/or legal action would be taken against me. I knew I had not taken out a payday loan so I wanted to contact EZLoan myself for fear that someone had used my identity to acquire the loan. The 3rd party representative grew hostile and verbally aggressive and told me I could not ********** loans because the $500 loan was from 2012 (which was another red flag). He stated the $722 was due to accrued interest. When I expressed concern about the legitimacy of their claim he became defensive and sarcastic so I hung up and did my own research only to discover a pattern of scams with EZLoan collectors and wrong address and personal information linked to me.

      On today I talked with a ********************* who was suppose to be a representative of a mediation company, ************************ in **************, **, for EZ Corp regarding a debt from March 2015. I never remembered taking this loan out but it was so long ago. The amount was for $550 with 2 split payments of $275. Today and next Friday. I didnt want this to go to court. Please help with my next steps and can I stop the second payment?

      I received this letter in the mail. Stating that I had a previous loan installment with EZMONEY, I have never applied for nor took out a loan with this company. This letter also has 2 contact people, one who I don't even had an address or phone number for. The letter states it is a civil lawsuit notification. I don't know if my identity was stolen, I remember getting a notification some years back but nothing came out of it. The collection agency is Progressive legal group. I hope this is a scam and can be resolved.

      I recently got reached by someone to collect from me from easy Corp./easy money stating that I owe them $1689 500 that I took out from them and I never ever ever received anything from the people or northern people. I called the company that they supposedly said that theyre getting the money for and they look me up with my Social Security and determine I have no account or nothing being old with them at all I have called the federal trade commission. I have left a message I have sent it to my senator. They took $50 from me so far these people should be stopped. They knew things that hackers couldve hacked. They knew this is they saying its from a debt from 2017 which I never needed any money back then because that was when I was financially stable its been horrible. These people need to be stop.

      I received a debt collection letter in early January **** from *********************** on behalf of EZCorp. The letter stated that I had a delinquent installment loan from EZMONEY (a subsidiary of EZCorp) and that if I did not make a payment, then a civil lawsuit was going to be filed against me. I do not recognize EZCorp nor have I ever done business with this organization which specifically operates **** shops across ***************** and certain countries. This debt collector says that they are collecting on a debt that is 10+ years old which does not make sense since surely I would have known about this if this debt is over 10+ years old especially given that my credit record is great without any debt collection notices for the past 10 years. At the time, I panicked so I made a payment less than the original being asked but now I legitimately feel that this debt is a scam and I have been scammed unfortunately. I request EZCorp's assistance in resolving this matter and verifying the legitimacy of this debt.

      They contacted me about a recent delinquent installment loan with EZMONEY(EZCORP). I never took out an installment loan through them.My information was compromized through my work...They said that the intital loan payment was returned due to NSF .They are requesting a one time payment of ****** of settlement..for the ******** by February 1, ****

      I just got a call from a consumer impact recovery company saying I had a pay day loan taken out around 2018 for $500 and were asking me to set up settlement installment payments or they would garnish my wages. I asked them about this loan cuz at that time I hadnt taken any loans out. They told me it was set up w my first national bank account. I hadnt banked with them in over 15 + years. They did have my bday, ss# and current address correct but couldnt tell me what the address was at the time I took this supposed loan out. Tried calling the number back that called me which was a local number and it just rang. This is all very frustrating that people are doing this to someone who works hard and earns there money.
