These guys are absolutely horrible for businesses. I have fought tooth and nail for years for any sort of reasonable credit for my company and it has been absolutely ridiculous. It took years to get the original credit card, then they gave me a limit that is so low that I have to pay it off several times a month (sometimes ten times or more) in order to continue using it. I have asked several times to increase the limit based on how much money is flowing through that card and have now been rejected for a second time. Their reasoning is that I personally don't make enough money to cover a larger credit limit. Who in the world makes more money than their company spends?? I would love to see that business model. It is asinine for them to expect an individual to make more money than their company spends. I'm all about being wise in who you give credit to but when you have that much money rolling through a business card for several years in a row, that seems like a really good indicator that the company is doing just fine and can cover their own liabilities. Save yourself the ridiculous hassle and the headache and just go somewhere else. These guys don't care at all.

This bank helped ** qualify for a ******* *****. We had time constraints with some contractors, and while we were wating for them to finish the approved loan, they talked ** into an ****** personal loan for quick starting. Assuring us we could repay in a few days when the ***** pulled through. Kept making excuse after excuse as to what was holding things up. After 30 days the ***** loan aproval expired because of their lack of action. Because they had hard pulled our credit twice (once for the ***** once for the personal) our credit was too low to qualify for another loan application. That left us with an ****** personal loan with a much higher interest rate, and no way to finish our house projects making our dwelling un-livable. This isn't a bad credit union, It's straight ** crimanal. This happened in 2018, we still have not recovered.America First Credit Union

Auto lending department gave me a quote, but then after i was ready to sign up for the loan they said they are not able to do it. They stated the price I paid for the vehicle i purchased was more than 125% that of the actual value they see. I searched and the value they stated the vehicle was worth was 11K, but there was not a single on in the state that was under 15K... so they denied the loan. Understand that's their right, but pretty shady lending practice. So they lost a customer that have never had a late payment... oh well, their loss.America First Credit Union

If you want problems at every single step of the way, then these guys are for you. They provide terrible instructions for how to do things, put holds on your account (that no one can figure out why they did) that it takes them hours to figure out how to remove, make it impossible to prove your insurance, etc. The only good thing from them is that the reps I have talked to have been nice. Not very helpful, but nice. As soon as I can jump through the remaining hoops for my account I am going to pull money out of investments to pay off the whole loan upfront so I don't have to deal with these guys ever again.America First Credit Union

I have very much liked banking at AFCU. However, Im very unhappy with a recent loan I got from them. At closing there was a verbal request from the underwriter that was NOT put in writing or the loan agreement. I am being held to follow the verbal request. The loan agreement states no verbal communication or agreement is binding. Be very careful when signing or getting a loan from AFCU. Your loan agreement that you sign, means nothing.America First Credit Union

I went into the *************** Branch branch to purchase a dozen **** Gift Cards to give out through the year. I was not advised about the fees that are applied after 12 months. Found out the hard way that now the last few cards are worthless! I looked up the rules according to Federal Regulation ******* Requirements for financial institutions offering prepaid accounts. They did not comply with disclosure and yet they still refuse to honor a refund. I am realizing that they are not interested in following federal law or keeping a customer satisfied. It may be time to re-think my banking options.America First Credit Union

Terrible bank, I called in and requested that my payment date be moved back to the latest date possible. That lasted for a month and date reverted back... employees cannot do simple task at america first.America First Credit Union

This is the absolute worst financial institution Ive ever experienced. They ran a hard credit check twice for an ** loan then denied having ran the second one despite my credit report showing it. Once they finally admitted their error, I asked them to reverse the second one. They evaded my numerous calls and emails trying to get the info for my ** loan because they didnt want to deal with my complaint about them running the second hard credit check. I spent over a week trying to communicate with *********************** who was responsible for the error but she evaded my calls continuously trying to avoid confronting her mistake. I spoke to her supervisor ********************* who stated that theyd have to run my credit a third time to proceed with the ** loan. **** said the first credit check was now no longer recent enough (it would have been if *********************** hadnt evaded my calls for over a week. She stated they cant use the second one since they already requested to suppress that one. She was entirely unapologetic about the entire ordeal and told me not to worry about the credit check as it was already removed from my credit report several days ago. I pointed out that Id just received the letter from AF today stating they requested the removal just today. I confronted ********************* with her lie and she tried to to blame it on ******. Besides being incompetent this business seems to be unscrupulous and dishonestAmerica First Credit Union
