      **** ** location needs help/ coaching! They continuously disappoint me each time I visit the branch. There are only two branches in *******, so when one of them, which is closest to me, provides nothing but let downs, it is very disappointing to say the least. Today is the second time when Ive decided to use the drive through video ATM, no one is at the window, I sent the tube containing my ID, deposit slip and cash upon arrival to have to sit for 10 minutes then park and go inside and ask them to grab the tube. Why even have the drive thru open if no one is there to provide the customer service we deserve? I am a full time working mom and was using my lunch break to quickly run out and deposit phones into my childs savings account for his future. This sort of issue makes me want to take my business elsewhere. We have two savings account a certificate, and we recently paid off an auto loan with them. I do not think we will be continuing business.

      TUMBLING FAST...GOING DOWN HILL.....HORRIBLE!!!! GET READY TO CAMP OUT WITH A TENT AND SOME SLEEPING BAGS IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET THRU TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, WHEN YOU DO, THEY ACTUALLY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON. 1ST THEY POST A PAYMENT TO A WRONG ACCT, THEN CALLING ME TWO MONTHS LATER ASKING IF I AM GOING TO MAKE A PAYMENT. HUH? SECOND, THEY GO INTO YOUR CREDIT REPORT AND TOTALLY S**** YOU WITH DEROGATORY INFO THAT SENDS YOU CREDIT SCORE INTO THE TOLIET, THAT IS INCORRECT INFO, SO YOU GET TO SIT ON THE ***** FOR A 1/2 DAY FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS TRYING TO GET IT FIXED....NOPE!...ITS LIKE AFCU JUST HIRED A BUNCH OF KIDS OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL, LOW PAYING (WHY THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS THAT PICKS UP THE ***** EVEN THE EMPLOYEE'S STATES IT TRUE) SO THEY ARE SAVING LOTS OF MONEY SO THE *** CAN LINE HIS POCKETS WITH MORE OF THAT GREEN DOLLA.......! STEER CLEAR! ALSO, THE EMPLOYEE'S WHO I USED TO DEAL WITH WHO ACTUALLY HAD A CLUE OF WHAT WAS GOING ON ALL......QUIT...:) ..SO THERE YOU GO.....NO CRYSTAL **** NEEDED THERE! RUN!!!       This review is in regards to AMERICA FIRST CREDIT UNION Headquartered in *****, ****. I worked with *********, from America First Credit Union Headquartereds, she help to resolve a conflict. I had on my debit card. They assisted me by reversing a fraudulent charge on my **** debit card. I am very happy with their decision and their review process. And I am very grateful with their process of settling my dispute with the fraudulent company. ********* from the main branch.was very helpful, I am very happy and I am a Very satisfied customer of ********************. They took the time to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my their dispute process. I Definitely Would refer anyone to become a customer of ********************, They always take the time to make sure that all my Transactions are legitimate. One time, they even called me about a fraudulent charge on my account, that was for $6.00, As a result, they blocked my account from a fraudulent business. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

      This CU has terrible service. Takes up to a week to post hours payments while collecting extra interest. I will never take a loan out again with America First.

      OUTSTANDING....The office in *******, ****. You have a great asset with ***** (Emp# *****) I had an ongoing problem with my account (Not paying all my utilities) yet it was clearing on this side-yet the companies were NOT getting the funds (Yeah-frustrating NOT from lack of funds) ***** already knew about this same issue from last month-long story short-Knowing how frustrated I was, he took control (called each institution-got it figured out- and created a solution(s) for me) If I could afford it I would have handed him a couple hundred bucks for his efforts!! We need more people like him... I will be posting this everywhere because he deserves recognition

      I am almost 61 years old and opened an account with my company's credit union over 27 years ago, that credit union was purchased/aquired by Altier CU and they were purchased/aquired by AFCU. At the end of February 2023, I saw a questionable transaction on my account, which was later determined to be a phishing attempt so I had to open a new account(s) then just last week, when I checked my accounts online, I noticed my money market account was short and I panicked. As I scrolled down to my checking account, I saw that money had been deposited there AND my email and phone number had changed. So once again, I opened a new account(s), but the worse was yet to come as I had online access issue the next day and was on the phone and chat several hours. One rep told me that maybe I should not do online banking!! WHAT? Then when a pending transaction from my previous account was presented, it was not deducted from my new checking account and instead, my LOC "covered it." The chat rep said it was due to NSF, she did not seem to understand or care what I told her about my previous and new account, she kept insisting I had no money, but she did not look at the DETAILS. Now, today trying to celebrate my anniversary, my debit card was disabled! So, my husband and I had to return home, all plan RUINED. Not to mention that AFCU does not have a 24 hour phone line so that could be a SAFETY ISSUE if a customer is out of town, road trip (needing gas, food, lodging, etc.). God forbid if something like that happened afterhours on a Friday and one would have to wait until they opened on Monday! AFCU is more like, "Acme (tires and wheels) Federal CU." HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & CARE. I am not done, will blast this on social media, verbally, etc. I am going to get some rest now (its 2:52am here in ** and I am ticked) but after a strong cup of coffee when I wake up, I am going to be calling AFCU AGAIN! They best make this right, they best look at these ratings without an auto response.

      This bank is one of the reasons I drink.       This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with! Run away from this bank! They lost 2 direct deposits for "forgetting to mention" 4 INVISIABLE account numbers that were not on our documents, mobile app, checks or anywhere else we would have know about them. When I reached out to the bank about this I was treaded as if a thief trying to con money out of them! Worst customer service I have EVER encountered.

      America First is extremely difficult to work with from start to finish. I want to echo all of the other reviews that have come before mine stating how unprofessional and unhelpful the staff is everywhere. As I write this review, they have a 1.5 star rating. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CREDIT UNION.I had to open this account in order to pay my rent. I regret having done it. It took me two days to open a bank account. It took another three days to set up a transfer and had to jump through so many hoops to get it working because the first time failed despite being INSIDE a branch working with a real, yet incompetent, human. Once it was finally working, I went for a year and then tried to cancel the transfers and close the accounts. Again, I went into the branch and talked to apparently another incompetent teller who said ALL of my transfers had been stopped. The following month, I got an email stating the transfer was initiated again. I called the ******* branch and they first told me they can't do anything about it. Apparently this is the first financial institution that does not have full control of their systems. Just letting the robots run the show. I finally talked to a manager who said they can stop the marketing emails as well as the transfer, but had to wait until the transfer was rejected. I called back the following week and was yet again told by the teller that nothing could be done, so I asked for the manager. 5 minutes later, the Manager said that everything was taken care of. Funny how that works. ***** CLEAR OF THIS CREDIT UNION. YOU HAVE SO MANY OTHER OPTIONS!

      America First does NOT care for its members, I have been banking with AFCU for around 10 years or so, Ive never had any serious issues, and if there was it wasnt the people working there. I do autopay for ALL my payments, I assumed when I do this funds will be sent and everything will be taken care of. I never imagined a car payment would never be received. When I brought this up to the assistant manager and the teller, they told me the check could have been lost or stolen in the mail. I was actually quite surprised when they told me they mail out checks, I assumed it was all done electronically. After spending almost 30 minutes trying to figure out and resolve the issue, which was to put a stop on that check, and reissue a new one or get a cashiers check, (which I eventually did) I would be reimburse 5-7 business days. Luckily I had enough funds to cover the additional cost. My issue is not with that, the issue I have is with the manager, ** or DJ, his call and the manner he spoke to me was extremely unprofessional. He said with a nasty attitude well what makes you think that? Then he started quoting the tiny print when you set up bill pay and the agreement and acknowledgment, saying you agree that the fund may be sent electronically or by check. Then he proceeded to tell me that I needed to take some responsibility for this mistake too, Im thinking, WTF?! What did you say, are you really blaming me for this?? How is this even my fault? He then said well WHEN I PAY MY BILLS I MAKE SURE I PAY THEM ON TIME AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE CLEARED. Seriously??! What the heck is wrong with you BJ?? I told him that I had check and it was clearly cleared from my account and didnt appreciate that he was putting blame on me.If it was not for BJ calling, unprofessional attitude, I would have never written this review and I wouldnt be more closing all my accounts. I will no longer be banking with this piece of garbage credit union.
