      A rep from the company came to my home on 6/29/22. He told me the service was $39. Then I received two ******** on August 1 and August 31. I guess for August and September. I contacted my bank and stopped payment. I had to pay $30 for that. My bank told me to contact Hawx. I called Hawx and I have been trying to get in contact with a supervisor. They told me it would costs $210 to get out of the contract, but I never signed a contract.

      This company did not notify me of account changes and is adding additional fees to my account without my consent. I have attempted to contact the company to make arrangements and they refuse to remove fees or help. The company Changed its fees from 1x every 3 months to 34.99$ every month. I called in June to cancel my services and they continue to charge my account. I paid the balance On the account and continue to receive a bill. The company never received a verbal or written agreement from me and is refusing to remove fees.

      I signed up for a pay by month program, that was charged as needed if I wanted the service done. I specifically told my sales rep the day the contract was signed that I wanted to pay as I went or felt the need to fumigate the house. I did not want to enroll in a program, much less for them to with draw from my account without any services being done. The account was charged for 54.99 the first service which is fine. Once the service was performed three months later they came back and I explained I wasn't interested this time because I didn't need there service, as that's what I thought are contract was all about. Now I get charged 120.00 no service was done on property and im charged double. I specifically told the sales rep I didn't want this, he went ahead and just put me on the program without my knowledge. I want out of this program and their tactics are decieving. This is not how to do buisness. I called customer service but no help. I have mailed a cancellation letter to there offices in Ogden, Ut. and also emailed them. Hope this gets resolved . Thank you.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was charged $120.00 for last service 09/07/22 and your technician never fumigated the house. After two attempt to have them refund me; I had no success. I don't want to be in the contract and I understand you have taken me out of it, but I want a refund for those $120 charged in September because your company did nothing. Check back with that technician and ask them to show you pictures of his work, he has none. So don't charge me for a service that was not performed.

      I signed up for 2 products with this company. One is every 30 days the other every 90. I received my first service in August and paid my bill. I received a second bill in September with no service rendered. I called and they said I received no service because I have a balance. I was charged prior to service. Never contacted to set up service. I called to resolve the issue and they hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor. I called back and was in the middle of explaining to the 2nd employee who just placed me on hold. I stayed on hold for 20 min. I want my service canceled with no payments continued.

Your monthly recurring charge is invoiced on the 2nd of each month. We will close one subscription at no additional cost with the other fulfilled. If you prefer to be billed after service is performed this option is available. Please understand monthly billing separates your quarterly payment into 3 months.       They keep charging my account for service they are not doing! I have cameras on my property, and they have never came by my property or serviced it for pest.,and they will not stop charging me! They said I signed a subscription, I have not signed anything from that company! This is theft. They do not have the authority to charge me or come on to my property!

      I was told that we would get a monthly pest service for $30 a month. I was lead to believe that this meant my house would be sprayed every month, not every quarter as they are now claiming. I was also never told that when I gave them my email and payment information that this turned into a 12 month contract. They NEVER disclosed that. When I signed I was told it was only to authorize payment. I was NOT shown a contract and was not allowed to read through any agreement or contract. They never disclosed that in order to cancel said contract would be a fee of $309. This company is a scam and they told me and my family lies in order for us to sign up and will not cancel my account because of a contract I never knew about. I have emailed them but have not heard back from them yet, though I am doubtful I will hear a response.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      You claim that I "received and viewed my agreement via email the day of signing" but I was never told such an agreement was even being sent to me. I was never allowed to read it upfront, how is being sent an agreement AFTER I signed something even honest in your book? I see that you have suggested changing our services into monthly treatments and I DO NOT care to do that. I do not understand what you mean by accepting my current recurring payments as "initial discount fee for canceling". As I stated before, I was not warned ahead of time by your recruiter that this was a CONTRACT I was signing into, I was deceived in order for that contract to be signed and for your recruiter to get his cut of commission. This is not the first time this has happened with your company, I've done my research and I have seen lots of others complaining of the same deceitfulness happening. I was lied to about the details of the service and was not at all told that I was signing a contract and not just an authorization for payment, which is what I was told at the time. I am not paying any sort of early cancelation fee because I was not even told there was one. I was not told this was a 12 month binding contract, and I was not even told the TRUE details of the servicing. Had I been told, and informed I was signing a contract then I would completely understand an early cancelation fee, but this is not the case. Your recruiters are LYING to people in order to get sales. PLEASE cancel my account. I won't ask for any refunds or anything of that nature, I just want my account to be closed without fees and to be left alone. Thank you.

      They signed me up for a service and lied told me it was a fee or ***** The replied and didnt disclose the actual information. I suffered from a stroke and asked the rep to return when my husband with home to explain everything to him. He did not he just signed me up I was not ever sure what.

      On June 6, 2022 Hawx REP ringed on my bell to offer pest control services. As a mutual agreement I choose 3 items from their services: Spiders, web spider, and ants, as well as with the location such as the bed flowers, ***************** near or under windows. Hawx FAILED to comply with the services to my satisfaction, but Hawx already collected 4th of my payments while their service is QUARTELY. I already placed the STOP payment for the rest 12 monthly $40.00 recurring payments. Because the 2nd service scheduled for September 2, **** it was NOT done, at all... Since then, as for whether **** has tried to resolve the problem? NO. It is unacceptable using employers refusing to apply the poison on locations paid by me, but in disagree with Hawx?, NO ! I will not permit this to happen one more time. The trick behavior used to distract customer during the time process for payment, and restrictions for cancelation without penalties, is despicable. I fell into that, but no for me to continue to paid for this aggravations quarterly for another 3 periods services and 8 months of my 40 dollars payments. Everything about Hawx is been deceptive it. REP manipulated me all the way to sign on HIS TABLET for 12 current payments AND but he never told me that their services will be quarterly, and NEVER give me the printed contract so I was unable to read it, until next day. Despicable is also the fact that was changed the original e-mail I only have for the service provide by ******************************* . As my last option to stay with Hawx I requested for *******************************, but my request was denied. And his description of duties performed and dates were modified after my call o September 2, 2022, when I spoke to someone at the phone, gave him my account number looking for help. The Manager never called me back, then I requested for manager to place cancelation of this contract. I waited the whole week he never called. I am doing it here and now officially trough the BBB to warn others

      In November, 2021, Hawx Pest Control begin billing me monthly, In Advance of services. They continued to bill me monthly in advance of services. I paid August 8th payment and September 8th payment, for service to be provided on September 22, 2022. I called to cancel my service with them this date, September 8, 2022 and they said they could only refund me September 8th payment of $48.70. The customer service accounts specialist said they could not refund my August 8th payment, even though I will never receive service for this payment. They are keeping my August 8th, $48.70. I told the Hawx accounts specialist this is not right for them to keep my money for services they did not provide. She agreed with me and apologized but said their system would not allow her to refund or credit my credit card the August 8th payment. Please help me obtain a refund of my August 8th payment. My account number with Hawx is ******. Thank you.

      The email you sent me today from the Merchant, Hawx Pest control  is the same email they sent back on October 3rd.  They owe me for two months of payments, August and September, where the services were not provided due to being cancelled.  They still owe me for the September payment and has not responded since their October 3rd email. 

      They have not settled my complaint and are holding monies they took from my credit card.

      On 5/3/22, door salesman came to door to get us to buy pest control services. We were told to "give him until August" on the treatment at $79/month and if we were not satisfied, we could cancel at anytime. We were then told to sign the ipad agreeing to what was verbally stated by rep - never given a copy of a contract to look at, much less even know that we were bound in a contract. 6/14/22 - Called to cancel any future pest control treatments because we were not satisfied. Told for the first time that we were bound in a contract. Asked for manager to call us, we never received a call from anyone. 08/31/22 - Called Hawx to request access to online account - unable to help me gain access into my account. Asked when my contract was done - told July 2023 - so they now extended my "contract" without my knowledge. Was told by rep on phone that they sent an "opt out" email and since we didn't respond to opt out, they extended our contract without our permission. None of this information was provided to us up front. Asked to speak to manager - told they were all busy and it would be ***** hours before a call back was received. Told that a manager never called me back after speaking with rep on phone in June. Rep said nothing she could do other than tell manager. This entire company is a scam. Hawx does nothing but lie to it's customers and should be closed down for bad business practices. 09/08/22 still no contact from manager at Hawx.
