      On July 18th I was approached by a sales person that came knocking on my door. He told me what Hawks Pest Control does and I hesitated to to pay for anything. He then proceed to tell me that there would only be 4 payments of $50 and that would only be when they came out. He failed to tell me that this would be a monthly fee and I was charged $50 on August 18th. I called them and told them my issue and told them that their sales person lied to me and it was false advertising. I tried to cancel my contract and they wanted to charge me around $200. All I want is to cancel my contract without being forced to pay $200 for something I wasnt told. These guys are scammers.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was tricked by the sales person that came knocking on my door. Like I said, please I do not wish to be in business with a company that tricks their clients into signing a contract. He told me it would be $50 annually and come to found out that it is $50 a month. Now they are asking me to pay $200 to cancel the contract and it's all a scam to trick their customers. I will in fact come to a agreement if you guys lower the price to terminate the contract to $100 to pay for the time you guys came out.

      I was scammed by this company into signing a contract without telling me the whole truth. I was told initial service is $150 thereafter every three months a service would be provided for $50 for a year. I confirmed with the sales representative Justin that the whole total would run $300 and he confirmed that. Now I’m charged $50 each month! I was never told that at all during the sale. This company is a fraud and deceitfully scams customers into their deals. And of course there is an early termination fee which was mentioned, but that is their gimmick 90% of their business has to be from early termination fees because customers are scammed into trusting them.

This reflects your service schedule as well as your monthly payments. Your August recurring charge was reversed back to the card on file. Please allow 5-7 business days to receive this.       I am rejecting this response because: This company has been a nightmare from day one. Here is a full account of the ordeal I have been through. I spoke with Justin on 7-18-22 regarding a hornet nest I needed removed. He responded saying it could be removed for $150.00 initial service after which they will come out every three months to apply the repellent and spray the outside perimeter of the house for a charge of $50 every three months. I confirmed with him several times the total would be $300.00 for the year$150 initially and three $50 payments after they finish each service. he said yes and confirmed that. He sent me the contract indicated where to sign and return. Everything took place during one conversation while he was still on the phone with me  and I trusted that what we had discussed was in the contract. Never once did he mention I would be charged $50 every month for a year. This representative withheld information was not fully honest and said whatever he needed to to make a sale and I was manipulated into signing a contract. That was very unethical. My first appointment was 7-20-22 to remove one hornet nest. They finally completed to the best they said they could on 8-10-22. The residue is still not completely removed as they said that's the best they can do. I have spent hours and days thru weeks on the phone tracking these people down, making appointments trying to talk to a supervisor to get help. I was told it is not possible to speak with a supervisor the only thing they can do is send a message and a supervisor will contact me in 48 hours. Nobody ever calls back. I have been put on hold and representatives  never come back. When they do come out to do the job they have no proper supplies or equipment to work with. We had to even provide a trash bag for the nest to be discarded. I was made to wait 4.5 hours for one appointment,  my appointment time was 9-11 am Kenny shows up at 1:30pm no apology no reason and when asked he tells me he was looking for a brush at the dollar store to do the job. This company is a fraud and scams people to getting into a contract with them. By the time you realize you are a victim of a scam its too late. I would like a refund of the $99 via my card or a check that I was forced to pay to terminate when I became aware I was a victim of this deceitful hoax.

      Door to door pest control sold me services verbally and I signed an ipad. Contract was never provided. First visit was **** minutes they were barely there. Did not use fogging machine or do good job on services. Complained and they came back and did another quick 5 minutes job and didn't use the equipment they said they would. I call to cancel and they are happy to cancel and hit me with $500+ in cancellation fees and reference a contract i signed on a ipad. This company is operating a scam and refused to help in any way. They are perfectly content terminating their customers who complain and issuing hundreds of dollars in cancellation fees. I insist the company provide a physical contract that I signed not an ipad signature on something I couldn't read. Company said my services would be monthly but was getting charged monthly for quarterly visits.I am requested refund of $85 charge in July for a service I never recieved an $411 in early termination fees for services I never recieved. I had 2 quick 10 minutes appointments where they did a horrible job and and not requesting refund for those just the charges I never recieved services from. I tried over many phone calls to cancel and get my money back and complain but they don't care about complaints they are perfectly happy to cancel you and charge you hundreds in early termination fees it seems to be the main focus of their business.

      On July 8, 2022, a Hawx pest control employee knocked on our door at *****************************************************************. My husband answered the door and the Hawx employee asked if my husband if he would like to sign up for a monthly pest control service. My husband said no thank you then the employee proceeded to offer my husband a "One time spray for $40.00". After continued sales my husband said OK and tried to give the employee $40 cash. The employee stated they do not accept cash because they were recently robbed, and they only accept credit cards. My husband at that point asked to use my debit card to pay them the $40 and my husband even told me at that moment that it was only a one-time spray of the house. I gave my husband my card and he paid the employee and shortly after another employee arrived and did a spray of the exterior of our home. They took my husband's information and told him they needed it just so if he wanted to sign up for the service at a later time he could. As for as we were concerned it was done.Then out of nowhere on August 8, 2022 I have a posted charge on my account for $49.99 for Hawx. I have no idea who this is and searched the internet to see what it was. I immediately called the company to find out how or why they charged me the $49.99. They proceeded to take my address and said I signed up for a 1 yr contract that is billed monthly with quarterly pest control service. I said that I did not want it and did not sign up for it. They then told me they emailed the contract to his email but he never received it. Then they said he needed to call even though they were charging my account. He spoke to them on August 18, 2022 and told them this is outrageous. They confirmed his email and they had the email incorrect. We never received anything, and they obviously give some kind of bonus to their employees for signing people up forcing the employees to dishonest to customers. Then on that same day they charged my card $200.

      This company is a scam! Weve been tricked into a contract that they have no intention of delivering. They debit our account then dont show up to perform the services. When we call, they lie and say the technician has been there and give us a time. We have dogs that bark incessantly when someone comes near our house, so we would know if they were here. We want out of the scam contract, because they have breached the contract by not performing the services. Hawx Pest Control should be stopped from being able to conduct business in our area (*******). Scamming people is a crime!

      One of the Hawx Pest Control Salesmen came to our door. I answered with my wife and he told us about hawx pest control services. He asked if we would like to have our house sprayed to get rid of the pests he outlined. After talking to my wife we agreed to have them come spray. I made sure to tell the gentlemen that we just needed sprayed inside an out once. He agreed and scheduled our dates. We paid the agreed upon charges for the one time fee. The next week they came and sprayed the outside. We had scheduled to have the inside sprayed at a later date. When the date to spray inside came they never showed up. We had to contact the company and wait for over a week for them to come do the agreed upon inside service. On 8/17 I received a text at 8:10 that they had scheduled us to be sprayed on Friday 8/19. We had never been contacted about a second spraying or consented to it. Also the man we had initially scheduled with did not tell us this is a subscription service. My Wife Called Hawx pest control to cancel the service and they told her it would cost $400. My wife informed them that we did not want their services nor consent to them. **** informed her that if we did not pay $400 that we would be sent to collections and that was the only way to resolve the situation. Otherwise we would be forced to stay on the subscription service and pay every month whether we wanted to or not. We both have excellent credit scores and do not appreciate this predatory corporate scheme Hawx Pest Control is built on.

      I signed up for Hawx on 7/27/2022 When I signed up, Hawx offered to buy me out of my current contract with my current pest control company. An offer they have not lived up to. First, I sent an email on 8/10/2022 requesting information about the status of this buyout. I don't know when I'll be charged by my current company, but I'd rather not have to track all this down afterward. No response for over 8 days from their primary contact email listed in the contract. So I call to cancel my account and they suddenly are quite happy to get the buyout handled. I said, no I'd like to cancel my account because it's clear by now that this company isn't responsive nor does it listen to its customers. I was "politely" informed that they would charge me $210 to cancel my account after failing to live up to their own promises.I want out.

      I sent Hawx Pest Control an email which read This amount is absolutely a bogus charge and needs to be adjusted as such. A representative from your company came to my house and tried to solicit a pest control deal with me and I declined. Then on 2 other separate occasions a representative from your company came by and I explained to each of them that I did not agree to receive any of your services. I am glad I did not decide to do business with your company, especially after seeing how you operate and the tactics you use. They continue to bill me.

      We received an unsolicited visit from a sales representative from Hawx who first off lied to us about the species of spider we had in our front yard. He claimed it was a poisonous brown recluse in order to convince us to sign a contract. He states that we would get the spray service for 1 year and we would get a discount on the first month and it would only be $50. He said we would get a physical copy of the contract in the mail as well as an emailed copy which we never did. In the second month, the price was $99. Once I saw this raised rate, I called Hawx to cancel my contract only to be told that there would be a cancellation fee of $450! I found this to be absolutely absurd. The customer service representative told me I would be receiving a call from Hawx within 48 hours. That was 3 days ago and I have not been contacted at all. This company is a scam. I really hope to be able to get this fee cancelled and be done working with them. This is not how business should be conducted.

      Signed a contract with Hawx Services in July. I was told by the young ***** Woman that I would be billed on a quarterly basis. I was billed two months in a row, July and August. I also asked that they come inside and spray each and every time. They showed up in July and never knocked on the door to come in. So I called in August to cancel service and I'm told I can't cancel unless I give a credit card, which I am not doing. I asked could they bill me and I'll pay it and was told no, they need a credit card.
