      A person from **** solicited us by knocking on our door. We agreed to have pest control work done. They came out again on June 15th to spray. The person doing the pest control recommended that we reschedule another application of pesticide due to possible rain. We rescheduled. The following apt, was for 10am on June 22. No one showed up so I called to find out the status. Apparently they had scheduled an open time and were going to call before showing up. That is not what I was told. Instead I was given a time. So it had to be scheduled again but before I did that, the person on the phone asked if I would be waiting there all day. I told her I had to get back to work. So she said she would cancel the open all day apt. This is relevant because when I called to cancel the entire contract, they told me that "I canceled the apt". Rather than no one showed up. They will cancel the contract with a penalty of $250. We signed the contract for sure. But we are being given the run around. The company misrepresented its guarantees, its skill sets and what we could expect. We want to be canceled and refunded

Warranty services are available at anytime in between your regularly scheduled visits. Two hour time frames are available for service dates as well. At this time the account is active.

      Sales rep for Hawx Pest Control showed up at my house, I immediately stated that I had covid and he said he didnt care, then he asked if he could come inside and hung around for almost two hours afterwards and returned multiple times throughout the day asking to use my bathroom and trying to find outlets on my house to charge a device without permission. He pitched me a deal of a $40 service with no payment until September (this was in June), stating that my first quarter of services would be free and that Hawx was doing a bundle deal and would add on a second service free of charge on top of waiving the charges for the first quarter. I felt pressured and agreed to sign up for services after asking MULTIPLE times that I would ONLY be charged $40 quarterly and there would be no initial charge until September. I asked him multiple times about this deal and cancellation terms to be CERTAIN on the agreement and he reassured me that I was correct. He told me that they would appreciate if I tried them (Hawx) out for a year but I was under no obligations and there would not be any cancellation fees and that I could cancel at any time. Not only was I charged two days later for $40 after being reassured multiple times I would not be charged until September, but I reached out to the salesman and he ignored me. I called Hawx to cancel my services and now they are telling me they are going to charge me $400+ to cancel, on top of an almost $90 balance today to my Hawx account, stating that they werent there and couldnt prove what their rep told me. I was lied to repeatedly and feel as though I was taken advantage of while being sick. My landlord is also unhappy and threatening to evict me even though the rep assured me many times I was legally allowed to sign up for Hawx Pest Control Services and refused to speak to her when I said he should ask her first. This is bad business practice. Do not trust Hawx Pest Control !

      Do not use this company. **** in billing is extremely unprofessional, talks over you instead of listens, is uncaring for customers and speaks ignorant as if she doesn't understand.I called to get an issue resolved about misrepresentation from the sales associate to my service. She offered to have a manager call me I said yes then told her if it wasn't resolved I would be canceling. She reminded me of the cancelation fee which I said i understand, then she immediately canceled my service and the appointment I had scheduled for the next day, as well as charge me $324 to cancel. When asked why she did what she did and ask her to correct, she refused. This business is highly unethical!On top of this poor service, it didn't work. The previous customer service rep was very helpful and scheduled to have someone come out to respray because I had no gnats but after my house we sprayed I have sworms. As soon as I got to this **** girl my experience did a 180 and I was treated horribly. I have complete doubt that I will even get a call back from a manager because she refused to correct her mistake then hung up on me.

      Signed up with Hawx pest control, I was very specific on what we were looking for. Monthly services for outside, inside, and spraying for mosquitoes. That is what is signed up for. 1st month no issues, 2nd month issues the pest control guy only spray for mosquitoes and Nats, 3rd month same thing, each time they came out I specified what I was paying for & what I wanted, even called the office they said no problem thats what theyll do. I get a call today saying theyre supposed to come out, I told them to hold off because I had an issue with the service because I wasnt receiving the services I was paying for, I get the # to the office speak to a woman she says she sees that Im paying for outside service inside service and mosquito spray. I told her when I signed up I wanted all the services done at the same time she said no problem shell put it in the system I informed her how it wasnt done the past few times she sent me the billing billing informs me that Im not due a refund and that I am to pay the monthly fee whether I get the service or not because its not based on service its based on a monthly thing, and that if I want the service I need to call monthly and tell them I want the service done. This was not discussed when I signed up I was told they just come out and they do it and everything is in the notes. The woman in billing I believe her name was ********* told me theres nothing they can do and thats just how it was that I was to be charged whether I got the services done or not. She was very rude, I asked her about canceling services since I was paying for services that I was not getting, she informed me that I would be charged $413, I told her I did not want to do that and put my husband on the phone, he asked for a Supervisor and was told 1 would call us within 24 to 48 hours within less than a minute of getting off the phone I was charged $413. I was still trying to resolve the issue b/c I have been told several things. They will not refund.

      Salesman came to my door and signed me up for one time service, said to cancel anytime with no fees. Then billed monthly and could not cancel. Emailed and called to cancel and getting no help -- states charging full cancellation fees for contract that was a blatant lie by salesman. All complaints on the business are the same -- and yet their deceptive business practices continue. This is criminal.

      I entered into a contract with Hawx 2 years ago and canceled my service last year after my 1 year contract had expired. Service was decent during the 1 year contract. However, earlier this year they returned to my address to treat my property without notifying me. After they sprayed my card was charged without my authorization. Keep this in mind that I was NEVER on auto draft during my 1 year contract. After charging my card, Hawx continued billing me and that amount increased each month. For the past 5 months, I have tried to reach out to someone in corporate and no one has the authority to help me or is not available to speak with me. The past due balance they are billing me is $115 yet no services have been performed since they last charged my card. I have contacted the area manager in the Atlanta area where I live but no response. I have called corporate for 5 months straight at least 3 times a week.

      On May 31st a fast talking salesman came to the neighborhood to give a better deal than our current pest control. I decided to switch to quarter pest control and then was unknowingly coaxed into signing up for mosquito service, that I DID NOT have previously. The salesman said we could try it but didn't disclose that it was $89.00 a month additional for the next 6 months! On July 27th, I called to cancel just the mosquito service because it's not needed. I was told I could cancel it I pay $200 early cancellation fee-the amount I was discounted for the initial treatment. It was also not mentioned that this was a 12 month contract, because I wouldn't have signed up. At this point I no longer want them to service anything at my house. I would like my "contract" voided and a $0.00 balance owed.

      3 weeks ago, a salesman for ************ came to my door and asked if I use a pest control company which I did and he asked the cost - 99$ every four months or each time they perform service. ***** said what if we could beat that? He told me they could do mosquito treatment once a month till end of season/September for 49$ a month and then in Sept I could add on General pest control (cancelling the company I had used for years) and they would pick up where that company left off for 80$ for each service. I said cool. Sounds good. Mosquito: 50$ a month till September with treatment every month and then every 4 months 80$ Until mosquito season next May. When Its 50$ a month again plus 80 every 4 months.Then he gave me a contract to sign, which I did. But then, he said I had signed the wrong contract and had me sign another one. Fast forward to me being charged twice- for mosquito and for general pest control. I called and relayed this and was apologized to repeatedly. The woman I spoke to saw where billing **** had made a mistake and not seen where ***** wrote J/K for just kidding on the General Pest Control contract. She gave me a refund for the overcharge but said she would have the head of billing call me on Monday first thing to see if we could package the contract with general pest but keep it under 99$. I got no such call. So I called 4 more times that week to resolve this and all said that ***** had tricked or liedor Miscommunicated and that someone else would call to resolve. In the end 3 weeks later a billing manager calls and speaks to me in a horribly disrespectful way and says since you signed that contract, even though ***** tricked you, you are responsible for the whole payment - now 80$ instead of the 50$ in the remaining contract or you can cancel and pay a 249$ cancellation charge now. I just want what I was originally promised! Can they admit their sales people lie and then raise the contract price without my consent?

      Hawx pest control salesman came to the door to offer Pest Control service, he stated: you get **** when the technician comes to apply service every 3 months at $50.00 per application, after 3 applications you may call to cancel, He asurred me that this was the details, he came into my home, it was very hot on June 15th or the date he was in the neighborhood, I have 2 witness that this was a agreement that he proposed, this was my daughters debit card and she stated that she would pay for the first visit.On june 18th or so they debited her account for $50.00 I called the ************ and a rep. sated that someone would call me back, no call, so I call today (7-26-2022) and spoke to someone in the billing department, she informed that the contract stated you will be billed for 12 months, this was never told by the sales guy, and a contract was on my email 3 days later, the agent in billing i spoke to today I explained this to her, she apologized and stated did I want to cancel and if so it would be a $200.00 cancelling fee, I stated I did not want to cancel and that I would get my witness and send this to better Business Bureau, 5 minutes they had taken $200.00 out of my daughters account this money she had was for her car payment and this entered her into the negative. . That was a recorded call and the can pull the audio, this is another example of a rude and deceptive employee. i AM DEMANDING THAT THIS COMPANY REFUND MY DAUGHTERS ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY.

      07/26/2022 A sales rep came to my home and said they were coming around the neighborhood with a promotion for a spray to see how we liked the results. They were running a special ONE TIME spray for $80something instead of their normal $249. My wife agreed since it was a one time spray. A month after the initial spray that I paid for at the time, they sent me a message saying they were billing me $86 a month for a year but only spraying every three months . I called and told them I did not want them to spray we did not need the monthly service. I called and talked with a lady who said we had signed a contract for a year (first Ive heard of this) When I told the woman what the salesman said about it being a one time spray, she said, oh sorry its a she said he said situation. She said someone would call back regarding this matter and I have yet to hear from them. I feel like this company scammed me and nothing about long term agreements was disclosed at time of discussion. We didnt even receive a copy of this agreement until a month later. In fact when I asked if the payment needed to be signed for the initial sale, the salesman said, no Ill do it for youand never showed me the supposed contract.I had ZERO knowledge that he was signing a contract for me that would put me in a bind for a year and feel like this company is just trying to take my money. I do not need the services they are providing and do not want them.
