      This company Hawx Pest Control has one of the worst if not the worst customer service or whatever you want to call it. They give you a phone number of a direct line but then you can never track down the person ever again. They constantly give you the runaround. They do not address your concerns. Everything about this company stinks of SCAM. Everything feels fishy about this company every time I reach out to them. And that is maybe 2 to 3 times a week it seems. They have an ***** number that never rings and doesnt work. And they provide me with a web page to book my own appointments that never and has never even worked. Opens up but the glitches dont allow for anything. Its bizarre and frustrating and incredibly shady.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have spoken to over 20 different employees. i have heard every single excuse there is and that they give and could give. I  have been given direct lines and assured by them directly that I would be able to reach them again and be able to speak with them rather than re-explain myself every single time. The run around is suspicious. Unprofessional. And unacceptable. I can understand the different lines for divisions and not for specific people but after the amount of times I have called - I am convinced that this is absolutely not the way it should be.  And I am CONVINCED that this company Hawx Peat control is Absolutely taking advantage of their systems their one sided contracts a monthly payment for a once  every 3 month visit  suspicious customer service numbers multiple suspicious customer service reps who after the amount of times I have called I now see clearly the SCRIPT that they are provided to pacify common customer complaints.  Nothing OTHER than my contract completely closed with this company without any sort of cancellation penalty as per the Contract that they have cheated me into.  I am incredibly dissatisfied with my service and there is nothing I can do about it because I am under a contract? And for me to get them to come out I have to make an appointment which is a run around when links and numbers dont even connect. The most unprofessional company Ive ever done business with in my entire life.Again - NOTHING short of being done with this company completely will be satisfactory. The worst experience Ive had with any company throughout my life in any business for any product ever.

While our General Pest Control services are quarterly, we offer warranty services as many times as needed in between those services, all included in your monthly subscription fee.       Hawx has sold me into a 12 month contract with no out even though I am incredibly unsatisfied with the service and the company all together. 

      to cancel, you want to charge me an early termination fee because of your horrible business practices, I am supposed to pay? 
      its called shifty salesmen and shady business practices and then to top it off, the worst customer service 

      this company is the worst. And I will spread the word and post as much as one person can about the crooked nature of this company and to AVOID AT ALL COSTS.   Even after all of this exchange I STILL cannot get a straight answer from this crooked company.

      ON 04/29/2024 ENTERED INTO OUTDOOR PKG SERVICE WITH HAWX. INITIAL TREATMENT WAS $49.00. MONTHLY PLAN FOR *********************** FOR $95.00 PER MONTH. 04/29/2024 TREATED YARD ($49.00). NO TREATMENT IN MAY 2024. (NO CHARGE) NO TREATMENT IN JUN 2024 (NO CHARGE). I CALLED THE **** AND ASKED ABOUT WHY NO SERVICE AND HE COULD NOT/WOULD NOT EXPLAIN IT. CALLED THE OFFICE (385) 446-0107AND TALKED TO A SERVICE AGT? WHO REFERRED ME TO A HIGHER LEVEL OF MANAGEMENT.I EXPLAINED WHAT I WAS CALLING ABOUT (N0 SERVICE/LACK OF SERVICE). TRIED TO CX AT THIS TIME. THEY WANTED TYO TRY AND RECTIFY THE SITUATION BY REDOING THE JULY SERVICE (SUPPOSEDLY PERFORMED ON 7/17/2024 FOR $95.00. WE WERE HOME--NEVER SAW/HEARD ANYONE. RESCHEDULED FOR 7/26/2024 AFTERNOON (1200-1600). WHEN I CALLED LATE FRIDAY 7/26/2024 WAS TOLD THEY CAME OUT 7/25/2024 IN THE AM. WE WERE HOME AND AGAIN NEVER SAW/HEARD FROM ANYONE.       I was approached by a door salesman. He sold me a contract specifically to kill roaches. He never asked me what kind. I did not know there was a difference. After 2 months of contract a tech told me I have german cockroaches and the spray they had been using doesn't work for them. He said I would have to pay an additional $600 for that service to be done. I called to complain and was told it is illegal to cancel my contract. After a debate I was allowed to cancel but they charged me $199 to cancel and no refund for spraying the wrong pesticide for 3 months. When I called back to complain I was told there is no manager to talk to, their business "isn't structured that way" after looking at yelp. I see many others are complaining about the same issues in the ************** and other offices. Predatory sales, severe over charging, refusal to speak to a manager.

      I am rejecting this response becausmanyhis company does bad business they tricked me into getting a contract on spraying my house and the sales rep that come to my house told me that they would take care of the cockroaches all I had to do is sign the contract they would come and spray as much as I needed to that they would take care of them but now that I find out there is a difference in different cockroaches and they've been spraying my house for a cockroaches with the chemical that don't even kill the type of cockroaches I have they have been to my house three times and the last exterminator man that was here we had a all-out blown conversation about cockroaches and he never asked me well what kind do you have where the sales rep should have asked me that from the get-go you can call any pesticide company in our area and tell them that you got cockroaches and they will ask you immediately well what kind of cockroaches do you have these people are here to give the homeowner knowledge of what they have in their house not get them to sign a contract and then 3 months later you're still seeing cockroaches in your house and your questioning what are you guys doing and they come back and say oh you have German cockroaches that is a whole different situation we're going to charge you $600 to exterminate those and now they want to give me 6 months free and and make me pay $600 to exterminate my house for cockroaches when I have another company right here in Clayton ************** that says they'll come in and take care of all of it and do a clean out which means they will go into all your appliances and smoke them out for the cockroaches for $150 so no I do not want to be with a bad company that gave me bad sales reps that didn't even know what they were talking about they should have been schooled and anytime somebody says cockroach they should have automatically ask what kind of cockroach do you have and the whole time the last 3 months I have been telling them to come back and spray yes they have come back in the sprayed but they ain't even spraying for what I have in my house because nobody even asked me what kind of cockroach do you have ************* really I mean that's bad business and me as a homeowner never had no bugs in my house was thinking okay you're spraying poison in my house it's poursing is bug poison it kills the bugs not that it needed a special kind of poison to kill German cockroaches I had no clue and that's where these people should have been knowledgeable to say well we got to find out what kind of cockroach you have because from day one I signed up on their program I have been telling these people I got cockroaches and a week ago I called another exterminator and ask them and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about and I pretty much first thing I told him I had cockroaches the first thing they said well what kind of c*** roaches do you have... What these people are doing to me and doing to other people is wrong you can read their reviews and see there is a lot of unhappy people with this company there's no reason to charge me $1.99 termination fee for my contract because I was very dissatisfied with the service that I was getting and when you told me the service that I was getting was going to take care of the cockroaches in my house I was like *** let's do this but no it is this company's job to recognize and to determine what kind of bugs you have in your house especially if somebody says I have cockroaches at that point they should say well let's determine what you got before you signed his contract because we may have to do something a little bit different end of the story not me go a whole another 3 months with cockroaches in my house and somebody coming and spraying God knows what in my house and obviously the exterminator that come over here didn't know anything no better than anybody else I guess he didn't even know what he was spraying he's just told what to spraying somebody's house I mean when somebody comes to your house spraying a chemical in it he should be a professional and know what he's spraying for and like I said me and this man had for 45 minutes a conversation about cockroaches and still spraying poison that don't kill him I don't get it so it that point why should I be charged $199 for breaking my contract when these people couldn't take care of my problem that they said they would take care of on the contract that I signed up for explain that the man stood in my kitchen and I have three witnesses that was standing right here in my kitchen when I said dude I got cockroaches and it's crazy how you just showed up on my doorstep knocking on my door advertising spraying chemicals and he was like well I can help you out with that sir and I was like great he come in the house filled all my information out and I was like man I'm so ready to get rid of these cockroaches dude he was like with this plan right here will take care of you for a year they will come back and spray as many times is you need they will get them cockroaches out of here for you man this is what the sales rep told me so what do I do I sign up for a plan that now you tell me don't kill cockroaches so why should I have to pay $199 for a contract a cancellation of the contract when they did not do their job and now they want extra money to take care of the bugs that I got when they should have found out the kind of bugs I had before they got me to sign a contract they lied to me

German Cockroaches are a particularly hardy insect, and require specialized treatment, and products. Our services do include full coverage in and outside of any appliances, cabinets, etc, where they like to hide. 

      Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the cancellation fee of the General Pest Control as you did receive services, and you were sent your signed agreement via email. You opened said email, where it explained all the pests that were covered, and outlined treatment protocols. Your account has been closed, and charged the early termination fee.       Hawx has been continually in breach of contract for all of my 2024 service. I have a mosquito control contract with them and they did not provide contracted service in April then in June my service was not performed to the contracted level as there was no mosquito fogging per my contract. When a warranty service was requested they came back and the Tech stated the fogger had been broken for two months and the tech only sprayed two planters again, only to find out that the tech told another customer they couldn't fog due to weather. I then called back for another warranty service and they returned but counted it as a regular monthly service in breach of contract and then cancelled my regular service scheduled for July 24th. They have routinely lied on the phone when filing complaints and stated they would charge us $200 for ending service even though they are in full breach of contract.

      In March of 2023 we bought a new home and started using Hawk Pest Control. In Feb/March timeframe they renewed my account for 6 months without my permission. They showed me a signature that wasn't mine. I've not had service on my account since March 23. In July 2024 we got a phone call from Hawk about performing service on my house. I said no thank you I want to cancel your service, because your service well it *****. Then on the same day that I cancelled the service, they drafted another payment for $54.11. Their customer service is the worst ever.Please refund my money.******

      They renewed my contract without my authorization. If you have have proof of the signature, please send it to me via email. You billed me for service that wasn't performed ***** x 3= 162.33 . You said that I cancelled on separate day's, but not the truth. They were posted on July 22nd. Same day. I did cancel and ****** deducted from account.
      I just want my money back for the 3 1/2 months of service that you didn't perform.

      Contract was for 1 year. Ended in May 2024. Called company to verify services need to stop. Billed every month even without service. Person pretends he doesnt understand English. Refused to put supervisor on phone, stated he was the account person. Repeatedly asked if I was canceling service which is $200 fee. I stated I was not renewing, the original contract has ended and I dont want to renew. Stop taking money out of my account. No help was provided and issue not resolved.

      We moved in to our home in February 2024. I was contacted from Hawx pest control and offered services as a move in special. They came out April 19 and I purchased General Pest control, and I also purchased Outdoor Package as well. A technician came (2 hours late from given time frame). Did the out door ***** and told me another technician would come to do the indoors. That was scheduled and Hawx rescheduled that appointment after canceling my indoor treatment. They did not come back until 5-7-24. When they came they did the inside and resprayed for mosquitos and general pest control because it had stopped working from 4-19 -24 application. I called end of May because I needed to have mosquitos sprayed again. It only lasts 2 weeks. I was scheduled 2 times in June and Hawx cancelled both times. I was Scheduled July 1 and they cancelled again. There product does not last more than 2 weeks and they keep canceling my appointments. I have paid all my monthly payments with no service since May 7. I called to cancel my contract due to them constantly canceling and charging me for services they are not performing. I spoke to ******* an account specialist and told me they promised to come out on July 17. I was promised by other people on the June appointments and July 1 appointment with them still canceling. I told them I was not paying for monthly services with them when they keep canceling. Now they are charging me ****** to cancel my contract. I will not pay this. They have basically given me 1 complete treatment in April and due to them canceling finishing May 7 with my indoor service. My outside has not been treated since April 19. This is nonacceptable.

      I am rejecting this response because: They have canceled 4 times and left me and my property untreated. I had made multiple phone calls to get appointments and they scheduled them out weeks in advance and then canceled them. I made my monthly payments with no service. I told them on my 3rd cancellation if they canceled again I would be finding a new service provider. They promised they would come July1 and they canceled for the 4th and final time. Why would I still do service with them when they are not trustworthy. You can't continue to not show up when it's in the worst bug time.

      I hired Hawx to perform general pest service and an outdoor package to take care of mosquito and insect problems. I had Mosquito Squad doing the outdoor control and their service was amazing. Hawx took over the service and performed it and about 2 weeks after I noticed an increase in mosquito and insect activity. I told them about it and they just said that the chemicals they use take a bit to kick in and start to work and not to worry about it. About 4 weeks later it was intolerable so I asked them to come spray again! A few days later I told them it wasn't working and it just kept getting worse so I wanted to cancel the service and I wasn't going to pay a cancellation fee because their chemicals don't work! The man I was speaking with on the phone said that was fine and that he'd even refund my 140$ for 2 payments of 70$ for each service performed and I was okay with that. He said it would take up to 10 business days to get the 140$ back in to my account and I was disappointed to hear it would take so long so he said he would do his best to expedite it and maybe he could get it in 5-7 days. I told him the mosquito problem was terrible and now I'm going without proper treatment and I needed to get Mosquito Squad back out here immediately so they could fix it! Now here we are about 15 business days later and I still don't have the refund! Not only that but they hit my account with 2 cancellation fees of 199$ at once and they canceled both of my services! I never wanted to cancel the general service so that should've never been canceled as I told him I was happy with that service! I've been dealing with many managers and they keep promising me my money will be coming back all the mean whileI have almost no money in my account to live and pay my bills that are now backed up because of their error! They've drained my bank account and I feel helpless at this point. They keep promising my money will be in my account and it just never comes!

      We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused you.  The cancelation fee for the General Pest Control was refunded on July 23. Please keep in mind it could take five to seven business days to reach your account. We have provided services for the outdoor service, there will be no refunds issued. Due to not fulfilling the service agreement on the outdoor service we had to charge the early termination fee. That charge is valid.       On May 20, 2024, I called to cancel my account that I know longer needed services. I was told I needed to call by May 19th to cancel that I would still owe for the next 3 months. I had been invoiced monthly for yard treatment service every 3 months. The payment that came out of my bank account was the first of 3 payments for my July treatment. Hawx refuses to credit me back the $64.68 and says I still owe $99.68. My account is closed with Hawx and per *** that I spoke to today 7/24/2024 @ 8:15am EST I still owe for the next 2 months but they don't service closed accounts. I requested they credit my card back for the service I paid for. I feel like if they did this one time that I'm sure there are many more people this has been done to. I have been a customer of Hawx for many years and have always talked good about their services. All I wanted was my $64.68 back, since that is for service they are not going to fulfill.
