      i had signed up with this company after i very explicitly told the person on phone i wanted to be sprayed for german roaches- i was moving and the other house had an issues. I made it very clear all i cared about were German Roaches- the salesperson promised me that my contract was specifically for german roaches and that i could cancel anytime. i had them spray the new rental before i moved in on 4/15/2025 . I asked the guy spraying- you sprayed for german roaches right? he said yes. I called for a maintenance service 2 months later with no worries- and told them on phone i saw a roach so i wanted a maintenance visit early- they said ok no prob- guy came and when i told him where i saw a roach he told me - my service didnt cover that and would reqquire a 600$ upcharge. The first manager i spoke to told me i was shit out of luck and absolutely frustrated me to the point i asked for someone else. The next person told me- that my initial phone call was recorder and they could find out who misled me into a useless contract.we will work out a dela with you but he'll call me back- i texted him repeatedly. Never heard back- i blocked them from my account and now they are calling me like crazy. They destroyed my plan to debugg my house effectively by not doing anything i actually called for. I am filing a small claims suit against them to relinquish this faulty contract.

      2/13/2025 I received pest control services from Hawx Pest Control Company. I requested a one time treatment to my rental property. The service technician came and exterminated after completing the service asked if I was satisfied and had me sign that services where completed. Little did I know they had me sign a contract, I did NOT wish to enter into a contract with this company. Unknown to me, I received a reoccurring charge to my business account March, April and May. May 7th I called asking why am I being continuously billed and was advised I have a contract and would be charged $199 for canceling before a 12 month period. I advised I never signed up for this nor did the service tech advised of any contract. Now I have been out of $55 for 3 months ($165) plus a overdraft fee from the April and May debit ($72) plus the $199 cancellation charge for a total of $436. This company is a complete SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      I wanted a one time service, which I was clear about. It cost me 115 dollars. They signed me up for a 24 mo agreement without telling me. Also, their service did nothing about the pests. They have charged me 50 a month since February and have not come by since. I was on hold for hours and then told that I had to pay 200 dollars to get out of it. I chose them because their salesman seemed honest. It is utterly deceptive business practices.

      I signed up for pest services about a year ago. Inadequacy of service, and they kept never telling me when they were coming until like 30 minutes before arrival and of course I’m at work and lock on gate so only 1/2 services. Repeatedly gave feedback and they continued to do this.

      Then I tried to cancel many times. They still have not cancelled and keep raising bill outstanding for services not rendered. It went from like $70 to $300 plus and zero services rendered.

      Disappointing service all around. I simply want account cancelled. I will pay $70 not $300 no services rendered just ridiculous penalties when I’ve said I want to cancel. It feels like a scam or shakedown.

      On August 26, 2025 I signed a 12 month agreement to have pest control. They're Account Manager ****** had me a sign a 12 month agreement and a 36 month agreement stating that all of the documents said "36 months" and to assured I would only be in a 12 month agreement. Now Hawx is saying they have no recollection of the signed 12 month agreement and that I am binded for 12 months. I currently live in an apartment-therefore it makes no sense why I would sign a 36 months document when I only have a 12 month lease. They are now claiming the phone calls are no longer recorded when on the line it said many times this line will be recorded. They are trying to say my only optin is to transfer or pay a early termination fee. This is unethical and I would like the adjustment to be just to me original 12 months contract.

      This outlines the breach of contract by Hawk Pest Control Service regarding the service agreement signed in June 2024. I am writing to formally dispute the claims made by Hawk Pest Control Service and to demand a WAIVER of the termination fee due to their FAILURE to fulfill the terms of our service agreement. The service agreement, signed in June 2024, stipulated that General Pest Hawx Pest Control's claim of providing services five times is unequivocally incorrect. Records indicate that only three service visits occurred during the nine-month contract period. The assertion by **** that eleven automatic payments were made is demonstrably false. The service agreement was active for only nine months and was officially cancelled in March 2025.The Breach of Contract: Explicitly state that ****** actions constitute a breach. By failing to provide the agreed-upon quarterly services, Hawk Pest Control Service is in clear breach of the service agreement." The claim of eleven automatic payments is illogical given that the contract was in effect for only nine months, from June 2024 to March 2025.Despite the dispute, Hawk Pest Control has failed to provide any evidence or documentation to support their claim of five service visits or the alleged eleven automatic payments. ******* agreed and issued resolution in my favor. Furthermore, they have not provided confirmation of the service cancellation.A Hawk representative acknowledged in February 2025 that one scheduled service was not completed, further demonstrating their failure to adhere to the contract terms.Due to Hawk Pest Control's failure to uphold their contractual obligations, I demand a full waiver of any termination fees and a cessation of all further actions or claims related to this matter."Hawx Pest Control has also been known to violate these terms according to numerous YELP reviews and definitely do not deserve a positive review by the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB).

      I am rejecting this response because the clarification provided conflicts with the original letter issued by Mr. **** ******, ************* Service Manager, in his letter dated March 27, 2025, addressed to the Golden 1 ************ resolution team.

      In that original letter, Hawx claimed that 11 automatic payments were made and 5 services were rendered over the life of the account.
      However, the current response submitted to the BBB once again demonstrates POOR record-keeping, and it appears Hawx is now backpedaling to cover gaps in their knowledge.

      This inconsistency raises a serious concern: which version of the information is accurate and should be relied upon?

      Considering all the facts, I maintain that my dispute is valid as originally filed. Therefore, I respectfully request that ALL fees associated with this dispute be resolved immediately and that ALL 
      charges, including any TERMINATION fee, be waived without further delay.

      I signed a contract with Hawx before 2020 (possibly 2018) and never agreed to any new contracts.
      The last service was performed on November 4, 2024. I was billed and paid through January 2025, no services were performed after November.

      Starting in March 2025, I made multiple requests to cancel. Hawx responded with multiple calls, texts, and emails. They eventually agreed to cancel but are now falsely claiming I owe a balance.

      There is no valid contract, no services rendered, and no balance owed. I am requesting immediate account closure, (which I recently received this confirmation by email) and most importantly confirmation of a $0 balance, and an end to all further contact.

          1.    Quarterly Service / Monthly Payments
      My recent service with Hawx has been for quarterly service and billed monthly. The last service performed was on November 4, 2024. Payments continued through December and January, no service was rendered in February or March.
          2.    No Active Contract / Request for Agreement Copy
      The only contract I ever signed was prior to 2019. I have NOT signed any renewed or updated agreements since that time. If Hawx is asserting that I remain under contract, I request a dated copy of the active agreement showing my signature and clear consent to ongoing service beyond the original term.
          3.  I submitted a formal cancellation request in March 2025. If your policy states service continues until notice is received, then one final service could reasonably be expected with account closure immediately following. If you plan to complete the service I will pay February and March by check at the time of service. I am aware of Hawx reopening  accounts, and then continued billing in other instances , which is inappropriate and unethical. As such, I will not provide any credit card or recurring billing information.

      I paid for Mouse and rat services for years actually had a worse issue by the end than when I started and come to find out from the mouths of the technicians who came to my house to provide service was because there hasn't been bait in any of these boxes in well over a year plus not only that but I was recommended to call and get a refund from the employ themselves I was treated like a liar and criminal when I called in like all this was my own fault. When I did finally catch a tech and tell him to get all the stuff out of my property that belongs to them He was able to find just 2 bait boxes to take with him when I asked where the rest were it was a shrug and " If you see one I missed just throw it away none of them have bait in them anyways havent for a while" I paid for a service that was never provided I just want my money back So I can give it to a company that will handle my issue as this what business are supposed to do Provide sertvice for money rendered not steal and yell at you when you want to cancel.

      I am rejecting this response because: There has been no attempt at resolution, Just cancelling my service after receiving money for services never performed or even attempted to come to a resolution after your own employees are the ones who urged me to reach out is extremely unprofessional  and downright childish just as the phone conversation I had with your leadership was. Little lesson for you as a business owner myself (much larger than this clown show you run) belittling and arguing with a customer to avoid taking any ownership or responsibility is terrible practice. But this must be the process for when you get caught trying to take advantage of what you probably assumed was a single stay at home mom until the man shows up and your tone and dialogue changes entirely shows me the kind of man and company you are.

      Last year I was given the run around and was constantly told that they would come out. I came here to file a complaint and review. Apparently it has since been deleted. The “owner” contacted me and told me he apologized and would directly contact me for anything and everything from then on. I have not heard from him not once since. They want to continue to charge me monthly with late fees when I have specifically asked to cancel my contract. I am still waiting for them to bill me for my cancelation. And ONCE again they did not once call me for their field “technician” to come out. I have specifically asked that they call me BEFORE my set time that they come out and not once have gotten a phone call.
