I used Hawx Pest Control for nearly 2 years. They were fine until you need to deal with customer service or lack thereof. Earlier this year in May I realized I was due for a quarterly service in April, but no one had come. I had a service on 1/6/2023 and the next one wasnt until 6/9/2023 only because I called myself to see what was going on and was told they were behind schedule. So, they were still billing me, but no one ever called to let me know they were apparently months behind schedule.In July I called in to cancel because it was too expensive, and the rep convinced me to place my account on hold. I knew I shouldve said no but I specifically asked him It wont automatically turn back on, right? and he confirmed someone would call me back to confirm if I wanted to start my service again. Fast forward to October and my monthly installments were taken out totaling $93.52. I called in and was told I would not be refunded because the rep did not leave any notes and that it always turns back on automatically. I requested a call back from a manager on 11/7 and was told it could take ***** hours for a call back. Today is 11/17 and I still had not heard back, so I called again and was once again told I could not get a refund. I asked why I cant speak to a manager, and they said they call people back in the order on their list and I asked well was I put on that list on 11/7? She could not confirm. Speaking to a manager is apparently impossible. For such a huge company you would think they could just refund my payment to a good customer for 2 years when I havent even received any services since July. They took almost $100 from us for no reason and cant have the decency to return it because theres no notes in the system. Absolutely crazy to me and I would recommend staying far away from this company!

I never care or have time to write reviews. However, these folks ****.They sell you on a service of approx $55 per application a couple times a year. then they hide behind some legal mumbo jumbo and you find out the contract you signed on a weak moment at your door is for $600+. door to door scam. and when you call to cancel , they whack you with $200 early termination cancellation fee. I would have told them to pound salt, but not worth ruining my good credit over scam ************ my fault for falling prey to door to door scam they appear legit with application tech and awesome pictures they provide to back it up, but DO NOT fall prey like I did ***********************Hawx Services, LLC

They came to our door and sold ** on a monthly mosquito service in June. They came out and sprayed our yard and the mosquitos only seemed to get worse, they never came back out to spray again. In August another representative came to the door to check to see how the service is going and he said that the first guy had the wrong information and they only spray quarterly. We said we wanted to cancel - he said he would take care of it and we wouldn't have to worry about the cancellation fee and that they would call me to follow up. I never got a call and tried to reach out to them from the numbers I had from the original rep. and had to leave voice mails and never got a response. Here we are in November and they charged me the 200 dollar cancellation fee. This is the first email we have gotten from them since June. I called them and got through this time and spoke to a representative and she initially sounded appalled but, when she comes back tells us that we cannot get the $200 back and the most they can do is credit it to our account if we keep it open. She said that they have an automated service making calls but cannot confirm if the calls went through either because they sometimes drop calls. They sold us on the wrong information, and said they would not charge us, but kept it anyway while acknowledging they have not held up their side of the agreement. She just says that the deduction happens automatically and she has no control over it. Looking over the comments from the past month this cancellation fee scam appears to be the company's business model.Hawx Services, LLC

Scam! This seems to be SOP, sell the service as a one-time fee without mentioning the year-long contract. To make matters worse, my signature was forged on an electronic document that asserted I agreed to a contract. It's almost impossible to get a rep on the phone and although there is a local office I found online, there's no phone number or any other way to contact them. So, no local accountability. I was told by the salesperson that the service was month-to-month and could be canceled anytime. This is what I agreed to and only discovered being under contract when I called to cancel service within the first month. I'm leaving one star only because it's required to leave a rating. A rep was going door to door in my neighborhood soliciting business. I was told they would do a 1 time treatment for $50 to which I agreed. They then charged my card for the next 2 months before I realized it. I contacted the company and they said I had a contract. The contract they produced had my name and some other person's address so ******* clearly copied and pasted my name into someone else's contract. Hawx wanted $199 to cancel q contract that is not mine and that I didn't agree to. I've had to cancel my card to prevent further charges and may seek a class action lawsuit if I continue to be harassed.Hawx Services, LLC

This seems to be a theme. Do not use this company!! There are so many other pest control companies to choose. They make up notes that are not exactly what happened, but good luck talking to anyone about it. The service was terrible the whole time they were doing it, and now wanting more money. If this is their customer service, I can't believe they are still in business. No chance I would ever go back to them now!Hawx Services, LLC

The man that sold this service lied about what was included! I called and complained and they sent someone supervisor they said to address my concerns. I told them if I was not happy I wanted to cancel without penalties and they said no problem I could. I had the service and was happy with who they sent out. He told me if I wasnt happy with the service to let him know! I away roaches, ants and fleas with 6 weeks and tried repeatedly to contact the supervisor..no response so I called to cancel and told them their service wasnt good or the product!! They keep harassing me after they promised I could cancel without penalty!! Buyer beware! This is a bait and switch company! They make promises not kept!! The products do not last for 3 months!! company is completely unprofessional the sales people will tell you anything to get you to sign a contract. I caution all who do business with this company about it. furthermore once they get to the home what was promised is not delivered. I live on a golf course ants and any other bugs are not okay. my home is ****sq ft the technician did my whole house and yard in 30mins. I work from home so thats verified time. I called the very next day to cancel my service ******* the account manager charged me $199.00 cancelation fee on top of the $59.00 I already paid for very shady services. I complained to the company and filed a formal complaint with the LA attorney generals office. the behavior of the company is outrageous and unethical. finally their branch manager *** called to see what the problem was, he suggested to do a 3month trial with NO STRINGS and refunded the cancellation fee. basically that means they did one re-service and I never heard from them again from early September 2023. until they randomly started billing my credit card November - no one called me and I surely did not contact them to continue services. i will be filing another complaint this time with the office of financial institutions and the attorney general.Hawx Services, LLC

Worst company I've ever dealt with. Was told I'd be paying a 1 time fee. Not entering into a yearlong contract. Impossible to cancel their services. In fact they've billed me 3 months without ever showing up at my house. Just recently did I get charged 199$ to break the contract. I'm clearly not the only person with these same issues. They should be taken to court and made to be held accountable. Even after I actually spoke with an individual who was certain he canceled my account they still continued to bill me. I've had to cancel my debit card because they've already stolen hundreds of dollars from me. Wouldn't wish Hawx on my worst enemyHawx Services, LLC

ATTENTION SAY NO TO THESE CROOKS and FRAUDS!!!Would give them a P*** if available instead of a Star as this Hawx Services is a Scam and they are the most unprofessional Fake Pest Control Company. If they go to your door don't open nor Engage cause they are all lies and Fraud. The promise a Service they do not deliver you are better yet buying a can of Bug Spray at any Dollar Tree or 99 cents store and may have a better result than the c*** they use. They are not a month to month service and they fool/force you into a 1 yr contract and if you want to cancel charge a $200 plus fee for a $39.00 a month service or $60.00 in some cases. I have more insects and spiders then I had before without their services. I have controlled it my self with a Jug of Ortho at ********** sprayed it around my house and it now under control. The people need to be informed and this so called business needs to be FinedHawx Services, LLC
