      This company is not reputable, they are scammers. Avoid them!! I Honored my 1 year contract then when I cancelled they said fine, but continued to bill me monthly & said the person I spoke to was not authorized to accept my cancellation. After they saw I disputed a charge they started tacking on fees. I've cancelled my credit card because they are persistently underhanded.

      They scammed me Ive canceled my account several time through email as they do not pick up calls, now they are charging me $258 for the cancellation going through a month later after my account 30 day warranty is over! Im so disgusted after reading these reviews and they will be hearing from my lawyer, this was very intentional on their part.

      I had services for Hawx Pest Control for about a year. I called to try to cancel my services and they said someone will call back to help me cancel. No one has reached out and I dont want to be charged a cancellation fee in order to do so. Please cancel my account, I should not have to wait in order to stop services. I have the email to cancel as proof.

      No company is perfect, but they are dishonest, manipulative, and unreliable. Thieves. They just stole $55 from my family and I. You get charged every month on the first of the month, but they never schedule your service. Continue to say that their portal has roled out a new functionality where you can schedule your own service, but I have not see that in the last three months. Whenever you want to cancel they hang up the phone on you or tell you an account specialist will call you back in ********************************************************************************************************* 24 hours, I had to follow up 48 hours later, then 72 hours, then finally call them again.When I asked to cancel they told me they would not refund me for the money I paid at the beginning of the month. They claim I refused service. That is not true, I called and emailed several times this month asking for service. The thing is that they purposely schedule you for service close to the end of the month, when you try to call and cancel then you are waiting several days to talk to someone and a new month has already started. This is their cycle. I just lost $55 dollars. At least I have my time now. Dealing with Hawx is almost like a full time job.

      Hawx is a total scam. They lied about the costs/frequency of billing when I signed-up and it is impossible to get out of the contract since there is no way to contact them to where they will respond or take action. To add insult to injury, they have charged me over $40/month and have only provided one completely ineffective service this calendar year (9 months), so they aren't even doing what they are obligated to do. The only thing you can count on is for them to bill you. Again, they do not answer the phone, have not responded to emails, the chat on their website that their unanswered phone message directs you to is unmanned, and they still have not cancelled my service after sending an actual letter in writing.

      We had a sales representative from this company come to our home and it was probably one of the most uncomfortable experiences I have ever had. He was very pushy, trying to guilt trip me, saying it looked like we were well off enough to pay for the monthly services of $80, trying to see if I was married, would not take no for an answer, and then trying to con me into signing an agreement by making it seem like I was just signing to say I saw the estimate. When I told him that $80/month was too high, in comparison to what I was already paying for pest control services, he made a comment that if this amount of money was taking food off our table then to send him away. He tried to get me to come outside, to which I refused. I ended up closing the door in his face, because he kept getting closer to me and would not take no for an answer. After posting about this experience in our neighborhood group, I learned that this same sales rep was harassing other members of the community. There were reports of him being incredibly sexist towards women and then aggressive towards men. One parent reported that the sales rep was trying to lure his son outside to look at his Segway and then tried to enter their home. When we called the company to make a report with a manager, customer service refused to connect us with a manager.

      Avoid this scammers! When the agent of this company came to my home offering their services, they never informed me that it was for one year that they would sign me up or mentioned a cancellation fee of $199. I never was told of that until the next month when my card was charged. I emailed to cancel the subscription. Then, during my work hours, I was harassed by an agent who kept calling my phone nonstop. When I finally picked up, they charged me $199 to cancel a contract they hadn't fulfilled. So, in the end, the customer gets charged either way because they didn't refund me the $59 for the extra month they didn't do any services and the $199. Please be aware it's a screw-up situation for the customer either way.

      I canceled my service and have the emails to prove it. I paid the cancelation fee and I keep getting calls and mail stating I owe a balance. Their office in ********* doesn't have anyone there and ********************* phone just goes to voicemail. I left ****** reviews with screens shots of what i paid and the 0 balance after the cancelation fee was paid and I'm preparing to speak with the local media and our HOA regarding this company. For all i know they rep could have just taken my payment to themselves. As I can see alot of ppl are having the same issue. I don't owe these ppl a thing and I keep getting increased bills. If this keeps up I will look into taking legal action with others having the same issue.

      Just another bad review. Similar to the other bad reviews. Services were not done correctly and were ineffective. **************** is hard to get ahold of and no good resolutions.After second time of talking to customer service within the 1st month the customer service representative started making claims about their products that were completely different than the salesman.I couldnt get a good answer about which one was correct.I asked to have my service shut off because I no longer trusted their service and now I did not trust their company or their products.10 days to have a manager call me back, but they left a voicemail and have ghosted me since.But they still take their monthly fee, even after I requested to be cancelled.CALL someone else for your pest control. Do better than I did

      HORRIBLE. I LIVE IN THE ****************. A YOUNG MAN SOLICITIED MY BUSINES ON A VERY HOT SPRING DAY FOR GENERAL PEST CONTROL. I INFORMED HIM THAT I DO NOT HAVE ********, HOWEVER, I DO GET A MOSQUITO CONTRACT EVERY YEAR. HE INFORMED ME THAT MOSQUITO COVERAGE WAS ALSO COVERED. I AGREED TO THE SERVCE. 2 DAYS LATER, THE **** CAME OUT TO SPRAY MY HOME AND I WAS TOLD THAT MOSQUITO SERVICE WAS NOT INCLUDED. SPOKE TO A SUPERVISOR WHO VERIFIED WITH SALES PERSON AND MY CONTRACT WAS CHANGED TO A MOSQUTO SERVICE ONLY, CHANGING MY PRICE FROM $99.00 A MONTH TO $69.00 A MONTH, ALSO CHANGING FROM A 12 MONTH CONTRACT. THE FIRST APPLICATION (MAY 27) WAS GREAT, HOWEVER THE JUNE (28) APPLICATION DID NOT YIELD THE SAME RESULTS. I HAD TO CALL LESS THAN A WEEK LATER, THE SECOND **** FAILED TO SERVICE THE **** AREAS OF THE HOME, SO WE COULD NOT UTILIZE OR ENJOY OUR YARD. IT TOOK HAWX OVER 2 WEEKS TO COME BACK OUT (JULY 19)THE JULY SERVICE WAS TOTALLY IGNORED ALL TOGETHER, HOWEVER WE WERE AUTOAMTICALLY BILLED. EVERY TIME I WOULD CALL IN I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 45 MINUTES TO A HOUR TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE BECAUSE BILLING/CONTRACT FOR SERVICE, WAS NEVER CORRECTED PROPERLY IN THE SYSTEM. I WAS ALSO INFORMED AT TIME OF CONTRACT, THAT MONTHLY APPOINTMENT WOULD BE AUTOMATICALLY SET UP IN THE COMPUTER AROUND THE SAME TIME EVERY MONTH, WHICH NEVER HAPPENED. I WENT WITH THIS COMPANY BECAUSE OF ALL THE ACCOLADES THAT THEY HAVE POSTED ON THEIR WEBSITE FROM CONSUMER COMPANIES. HOWEVER, ONCE I STARTED SEEING RED FLAGS, I SEARCHED TO SEE WHAT ACTUAL CONSUMERS WERE SAYING, AND THEY ARE QUITE THE OPPOSITE. VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS AND NOW THEY CAN ADD ONE MORE TO THE LIST. THEY HAVE CHARGED ME FOR AUGUST, EVEN AFTER I REQUESTED TO CANCELL THE SERVICE AND FOR A SUPERVSOR TO CALL ME BACK. SUPERVSOR NEVER CALLED. THEY ARE ALSO ATTEMPTING TO CHARGE ME $199 CANCELLATION FEE WHICH APPLIED TO THE "GENERAL BUG CONTRACT" NOT THE "MOSQUITO CONTRACT." CUSTOMER SERVICE S AWFUL. REFUSED TO GIVE CORPORATE NUMBER.
