I have been trying to call to cancel my service and have been waiting on hold for hours at a time. Ive left my callback number several times and get no call back. Avoid Hawx pest control at all costs! It shouldnt be this hard to get ahold of someone.Hawx Services, LLC

I think situation could've **** handled fairly.i was specific about billing.im on disability and get paid on3 be ok to pay.bit it was not and now I'm late? gentleman said np.i only agreed because I was overwhelmed with ants..I just moved in only 2 month so said let's do it..all seemed fine.2 weeks later I'm overwhelmed with ants again!now coming in window and doors.so I call they come out again.service man says it's bad! In flower beds,trees, fence line, windows. Now inside kitchen counter.he says 3 or4 days come back again to get where coming back.well yesterday I see ants again..so I call to make appointment.like he suggested..but getting to bill since I haven't payed early according to them they can't come and service till bill is payed? First ant problem isn't done! Now want me to continue to pay so they can come finish? They never finished..I still have ants..to me $60 is to maintain the rest of the year..but they haven't got ride of ants..I have no problem paying as long as it's on the 3 rd.well it's changed now from them..but I have to pay now or wait 2 weeks till bill gets payed? I'm thinking if can't work with me I'll switch..only thing is the got you any way..I have to pay $189 to get out of contract..only 2 months and all this has happened..I'm on disability and my roommate is elderly.just want to pay for service and get good service and move on..to much time an effort for all this..so inconvenience.i have drs issues to deal with not bugs and ants..but gentleman who came out was very professional..it's the billing that caused all this..in the end I HAVE ANTS.ALOT..thank you for you time..have a good eveningHawx Services, LLC

The business practices of this company are undesirable. I have been trying to get out of my contract for over a year. In April I was told that my contract had been terminated, but in June, my credit card was debited. I have not received nor was I notified of services. I have been on hold for call back for two days. with service like they provide, how can they have such a high rating?Hawx Services, LLC

Hawx Pest Control will never get my business again. First, my wife called three times and left messages and when they called back and found out what she wanted, they were disconnected and she could not get them back on the phone. Second, I called and was on hold for 40 minutes. When the guy answered, he wanted to know why we were canceling. When he found out we had moved, he wanted to transfer the service. I told him we are renters and the owner already has a pest control company. With that said, he proceeded to tell me he could not cancel my contract because the contract was ending in three days and he could not cancel it until it ended. I would have to call back on that day. So, three days later, I called back. After 1 hour and 50 minutes on hold I hung up. Called the next day and was on hold for ******************************************** Today, I had to leave work and drive to an office to get this handled. Shocked to find out they have no receptionist or front desk a guy came out to ask questions. I told him I need to cancel and he looked it up on the computer and said it ended yesterday and I did not have to do anything. **** at night at these people have been coming door to door for the past couple of weeks. This despite ** saying we are not interested, companys have business hours and should create respect for potential customers as well! Disrespectful to homeowners in the area.Hawx Services, LLC

Please do not use this company is a flat out Scam and Shame on you. The door to door salesman, or I should say salesboy, just flat out lied about the service and what is covered. If *********************** come to your door do not believe a word that comes out of his mouth. ************** is a joke you just get lip service, put on hold, and get the runaround with excuses. We are trying to cancel but I see from reading on here it's not that easy. I should have did my research. I will follow up with the BBB. I have been trying to cancel my service for a month now. Last month I sat on hold for over a hour before they answered. The representative asked why I wanted to cancel. I explained I have been having more issues with insects in my house since I switched from Orkin to them and they missed a scheduled appointment without contacting me. The rep. stated I would be charged over $200.00 if I canceled the service but if I waited until June I could call back and cancel then without penalty. I agreed to call back. After that phone call the technician contacted me and rescheduled but never showed up nor called again. They took out my June payment and as of today still no one has showed up to do the service. As I write this I have been on hold for over 2 hours and 25 minutes waiting for one of their "agents" to pick up the phone. Oh wow they just disconnected me now!!!!!!!!!! I am going to have to cancel my credit card to cancel this terrible service it looks like. PLEASE NO ONE USE THIS COMPANY!Hawx Services, LLC

Hawx pest control is a terrible company. I signed up through their representative *********************. He convinced me to sigh up for services claiming that he was giving me a good discount. He told me that they have a sale going on and that it was $199.00 for the first application but he is going to charge me $99.00. He did charge me the $99.00 for the first application that was completed on 5/29/23. He then stated that it will be $69.00 per month but every 3 months they will come out to apply an application. He also mentioned that if I cancel the service that it will be $100.00. After careful decision I realized this was not going to benefit me after seeing the person apply the 1st application. He beardly did my whole yard. I do a better job than he did doing it for myself. When I called to cancel the service it took me 1 hour and 35 minutes holding to get someone to answer. At one point I had 2 phone lines going trying to cancel the service. Finally I got someone on the phone who state its going to be $199.00 to cancel the service. I told her what **** told me that it was going to be $100.00 but she insisted it was $199.00. My account was debited $199.00 to cancel the service and I only had 1 service treatment. Hawx pest control prey on people and rubs them of their money. They are mercifulness. In this world that we are living in when times are hard they are rubbing innocent people out there. Be careful when you see a Hawx representative comes ringing your doorbell. Do not sign up for pest control services with them. I've paid a dear price to find out that they are scammers.Hawx Services, LLC

I started this and its my fault! Door to door salesperson! I have since then have learned to just say NO! Treat them as you should treat illegal drugs! Just say No! Never buy when you dont do your due diligence so that you can see this company has 1.5stars at best.1. Missed appointments and doesnt take them much to not come and do the service.2. Missed a whole month of without any notices from Hawks customer service and/or technicians. for me thats was *** 2023..3. Ineffective treatments - got pictures of spiders and mosquitoes in the house.4. Cancellation scheme: Hawxs will only cancel your service via an accounts specialist. I called three times and quess what Customer Cancel Specialist are always busy - but their **************** needs at least the opportunity to cancel your service.5. Reading my contract notices can be mailed in to their ***** ** headquarters..you will need to certify your cancellation as they intend to never cancel you and renew their unwanted service6. Emailing customer support USELESS.7. Surprising enough the local office manager calls you and lets you know if your having any problems that you can contact him.Hawx Services, LLC

I am absolutely sick as I read these other reviews. I'm having all the same problems. I have tried and tried to contact someone to cancel my service. I've waited on hold for hours, then requested a call back. I have never received one. I have tried to use the online chat. I have been told they can't help me. I've been told repeatedly that I need to speak with a account specialist. I can't get one to answer the phone or call me back! I am trying to avoid the hassle of an attorney, but it's starting to seem inevitable. My original contract was up on June 1st. I don't want it renewed. It shouldn't be this difficult to cancel a service that you are unhappy with. If I do not get results soon I will need to file a formal complaint and call an attorneyHawx Services, LLC
