      This company have you sign up for services that are ineffective and when you call the customer service number for returning customers, no one picks up. The only time you get someone is when you choose the option for new customers and/or sales. In essence, after they get your banking information they stop responding to you.I have asked them to cancel my subscriptions and they refuse. Furthermore, their ******** account does not allow you to comment!!! I need Aptive to stop taking money out of my account immediately!!!

      Fraudulent sales rep. When sales rep stopped by my home to sell his service for insect control treatment I was told first treatment would be half price of 40.00 , I was charged double. Then he said the service guys were in the neighborhood and would come over in about an hour. I told him that I was only a tenant and not the owner of the property, I also told him that my backyard was flooded in which he replied that it wasn’t a problem they can work around that. The service was mainly to spray around the perimeter of the home fence line to prevent fleas and ticks, coming in from neighbors unkept yard. When 2 service men came and checked around the property they sprayed a six foot out line from the house in front and on each side but told me they could not do a full service and include the back yard because of the flooding. When I told them their sales representative said that was no problem they said no it’s against the law to treat near any water. The company lied and totally misrepresented their service. Since this property is not my own and flooding is a constant problem I called my landlord and was told to cease any external services since the water is and has been seeping slowly into basement causing severe mold plus electrical problems in back of house as well. Aptive would not accept any of my attempts to contact them because my phone number didn’t have caller ID even after confirming my identity. I finally reached them through email to cancel any further services but they still charged me full price for one time half service and $199.00 termination fee for what they themselves said they couldn’t service because of NY state law. Was also told if I wasn’t satisfied with service at any time they would come back and respray which the little bit they did in the front did nothing. Therefore I’m requesting cancellation and full refund.

      Aptive Environmental Pest Control will not contact me back after many repeated attempts to cancel my account. They have many phone numbers that can be found online that all redirect to a line that puts you on hold for a few minutes then directs you to voicemail.

      My account was originally with **** and they sold my account without my consent to this predatory company and I cannot cancel my account. I called **** and they gave me a number to a call center in India. speaking with them they redirected my call to the aforementioned number that goes to voicemail.

      There is also no cancellation option on my account on their website.

      ?? PSA: I usually don’t make posts like this, but I want to save others from the frustration we’ve dealt with.

      We signed up with Aptive Pest Control, trusting their 100% satisfaction guarantee. My husband signed the contract at $109/month (they gave him a first month deal of $40). In the three weeks that followed, we had ants all over our kitchen and fleas in our yard—to the point that our dog came inside covered in fleas.

      When my husband reached out, they told us they’d handle it next month during their regular visit. I’m pregnant and on bedrest—I can’t wait weeks to have ants in my kitchen or avoid taking the dog out because the yard’s infested.

      I asked him to escalate, and even after explaining the urgency and their “guarantee,” they gave the same answer: We’ll handle it next month.

      So we canceled. And they still charged us $200 to cancel, plus the $40 monthly fee, despite never resolving any pest issues.

      They showed zero empathy, didn’t follow through on their own promises, and were impossible to work with. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend Aptiva to anyone. Save your money and go with a company that actually cares about their customers—and stands by their word.

      I either expect them to come out and finish following up on the satisfaction guarantee that they guaranteed and we paid for, or I want my $200 cancellation fee refunded because the reason we canceled was because their product doesn’t work and they don’t stand by their guarantee.

      Pest control week of May 20th.
      $46.85
      Company did not inform me I will be on a monthly billing cycle. I still have spiders coming into my home. I do not need them to come to my residence anymore. They informed me I have to complete a 12 month cycle to discontinue their services. Their pesticides do not work and I did not agree to a 12 month cycle. Thank you for your time.

I paid 40 on the first spray visit, I have rejected them numerous times since then. They continue to charge my debit card on file. I haven’t agreed or be willing to pay them any further.       I am filing this complaint to report repeated, unwanted contact and unauthorized activity from Aptive Environmental, a pest control company that acquired the business I was previously contracted with.

      At the time Aptive acquired the former company, my contract had already ended. I had no active service agreement, no outstanding balance, and no obligation to continue services with Aptive. Despite this, Aptive began contacting me regularly through emails, text messages, and phone calls. They also attempted to charge a credit card that had been on file with the previous company.

      I made multiple good-faith efforts to stop this unwanted contact. I responded to text messages, chatted with an Aptive representative online, and sent several emails requesting cancellation and confirmation that I was not a current customer. One of their employees did respond via email confirming that the subscription would be cancelled.

      However, the contact did not stop. Aptive continued to call, email, and text me multiple times per week. They even scheduled a service appointment I never requested and began sending me reminders for it. During a phone call today, the representative insisted I follow their internal cancellation procedure, which involved providing personal information over the phone—something I was not comfortable doing, especially considering I never had an active contract with them in the first place.

      I also informed them that my phone number is registered on the National Do Not Call list and explicitly requested they stop contacting me. These requests were ignored.

      I am asking the Better Business Bureau for assistance in resolving this issue. I want Aptive Environmental to cease all contact with me, confirm in writing that I am not a customer, and ensure that no future charges will be made to my account.

      We signed with Aptive on June 19,2024. We immediately regretted the decision, as they are not an actual pest control company. Their business plan is only to obtain customers, get their billing information, & then refuse to cancel their services & stop billing.

      Formal Complaint: Unauthorized Services, Charges, and Privacy Violations

      I am writing to file a complaint regarding Aptive Environmental’s repeated unauthorized pest control services, charges, and violations of my privacy.

      Despite repeatedly telling your technicians that I do not want any services, Aptive has continued to send personnel to my property without consent. After speaking with your customer service today, I learned that technicians entered my property on January 8, March 10, April 24, and June 9, 2025—all without my knowledge or approval.

      Key Issues:
      Unauthorized Services:
      I denied service each time someone knocked, yet your technicians continued entering via side or back entrances and performed partial treatments without consent. This shows clear disregard for my instructions and property rights.

      Misleading Sales Tactics:
      I was told this was a one-time $19.99 promotional offer. Now I’m being told I’m locked into a contract I never knowingly agreed to, beyond possibly signing a form in early 2024. I believe I was misled and pressured into unwanted service.

      Privacy Violations:
      On June 9, I personally caught a technician entering my backyard and performing treatment without permission. This is trespassing and a serious privacy concern.

      Unauthorized Charges:
      I’ve been charged for services I did not approve or observe. These charges are unjustified, and seem to exploit auto-billing without customer consent or confirmation.

      My Requests:
      Cancel all services and contracts immediately.

      Refund all unauthorized charges made in 2025.

      Confirm in writing that no further technicians will be sent.

      Investigate how your team accessed my property without permission.

      I’m also requesting the Better Business Bureau and other consumer protection agencies review this case. If not resolved promptly, I will seek legal counsel and file formal complaints for trespassing and fraudulent billing.

      They completely ignore no solicit signs and come at the worst time with complete disregard for families with dogs and little ones. They show no care which is reflected in their pushy sales tactics. This is a horrible company with terribly taught salespeople.
