Absolutely loath using this organization. Have no choice but to use them as they have facilitate a program my son uses. Every staff member is rude, no empathy, never return calls, text, or emails. Constantly go through case managers. This is the worst program to use,Moms In Motion, Inc

I'm sorry that you feel you've had a negative experience. While I cannot comment on any specific case on this public website due to HIPAA laws, I can say generically if anyone is ever trying to get ahold of us, we have a dedicated team at our main number ************ willing to help anyone, who can also get anyone we currently serve to their specific case manager and/or service facilitator. Also, even though we are always happy to serve those that choose Moms In Motion, every person receiving services by any provider in ******** has a choice of provider and is allowed to switch to a new one at any point.Review fromRobin W

I didnt get paid from March 21-May 24, 2024 due to no one coming out to get the correct paperwork signed. I did the work, I just cant get paid. Ive left messages with different people but NO RETURN CALLS. Im being ignored and this is ridiculous.Moms In Motion, Inc

I'm sorry that you've had that experience. I cannot speak to any specific case on this public website due to HIPAA laws, but I can say this generally. Moms In Motion only makes requests for authorizations. Ultimately, it is the *** that approves or denies services. If you haven't already, I would encourage you to have your Employer of Record contact their Care Coordinator for more information. If we can be of assistance, our contact information is ************ or ********************************Review fromJermika T

I'm sorry that you feel that you've had a negative experience. We have been doing this work for 15 years and I can assure you that we absolutely know what we are doing. While I cannot speak to any specific case on this public website due to HIPAA laws, I can make broad statements in general. There are many moving parts to try to get hours approved through *****. Rules change constantly and we do our best to keep up. ***** is the approving entity, not us. We can only make the request. We are fully dependent on them to do their part in order to get services going for anyone receiving services on a DD Waiver.Review fromPaula C

I have been working with Moms in Motion for the past 2 years in finding care for my adult daughter with autism. It is very difficult to get anyone to get back to you in a timely fashion. A number of times I've had to enlist the help of my Anthem ***resentative to get anyone to return my messages. Many of the interactions I've had with the ***resentative who's been assigned to us the entire time have been condescending and disrespectful. She has spoken to me as if I'm a child on many occasions. Recently my daughter had an injury due to an antibiotic and I have taken **** to stay home and care for her. In order to keep her waiver intact, the Anthem ***resentative suggested that I become the caregiver and that my husband become the employer on record which we are attempting to do now. This process is taking forever. By the time anything is in place I will have to go back to work and we'll have to search and find someone else who can care for my daughter and then that process will probably take forever. Most recently my Anthem ***resentative emailed the Moms in Motion *** and included me in that email and immediately after receiving that email the Moms in Motion ***resentative called my husband and told him that I was harassing her and that she could not speak to me anymore because I was no longer the employer on record. I relayed this information to my Anthem ***resentative who said that we will be looking for a new partner once this process has played out.Moms In Motion, Inc

I'm so sorry that you are having a negative experience. That is not typical for Moms In Motion. We will investigate and take action, as necessary. While I cannot comment on any specific case on this public website due to HIPAA rules, I can generally say that changing an EOR relies very heavily on the fiscal agent and does typically take several weeks. It involves doing paperwork, training a new EOR, submitting a fiscal agent request form, and then waiting on the fiscal agent to do their piece. Then the new EOR has to submit their paperwork to the new fiscal agent and again wait until the fiscal agent does their piece. It's a lengthy process that does take quite a bit of time. Also, while I know it must be frustrating, once that EOR change is completed, it is that person with whom the case manager/service facilitator will interact, since they are in charge of directing services. Attendants work for the Employer of Record (EOR), which is why we redirect attendants that contact us to their employer. That being said, however, we agree that it should be done respectfully, with clear communication, and with kindness.Review fromLarry F

1 star*****, this all started back in April 2024 when I moved from *********, ******** to *******, ******** when I was in ********* I had the nicest kindest lady helping me in Moms In Motion, because I had never done this stuff before most of our interaction was done over the phone, which I can understand because we live in another city away from where she was when we moved to ******* she retired and told me that my all ******* paperwork have been forwarded to an agent here in *******, and that that person will be contacting me well that never happened and when I called the main office in *******************, they keep giving me this persons number the same number over and over again I call it. I leave a message for two months now and they have never contacted me to help file my fiancs DMS paperwork so she can get paid through PPL I am very disappointed at this point very disappointed because apparently unknown to us we have to file this stuff every year, and if the lady who is help me and ********* did retire, she probably couldve told me thatReview fromVR M

Errors in documentation, lack of response, recent change in visit protocol has not improved process or communication, conflicting information provided. SF does not provide person centered care or get to know person or family as previous services when we first started. Appts and times not kept, no shows impact individual and family. Mim has been with our family for 8 years so we are disappointed as we'd had nothing but positive experiences until last approx 1-2 years.Moms In Motion, Inc

I have been using the CCC+ Waiver since 2023, and throughout this time, Moms In Motion (MIM) has been my sole Service Facilitator (SF). Living in the *********** area, I can confidently say that MIM is highly informed and an outstanding advocate for our needs and the broader community.Dealing with the intricacies of DMAS and its ever-evolving processes can be overwhelming, but MIM stands out with its proactive approach. They consistently offer detailed insights into the current situation, ensuring we are always in the loop with the latest information. Their regular, informative, and timely email updates testify to their proactive stance. Moreover, MIM's presence in ******** groups is invaluable. They quickly respond to questions and offer clarity and support whenever needed. Their dedication to staying connected and engaged with the community sets them apart. In addition to **** overall excellence, our personal experience with their Service Facilitators has been exceptional. We are currently on our second SF; our first SF was with MIM for several years but was reassigned to a new location. Despite this change, our second SF, although new, quickly provided the essential information we needed during challenging times with DMAS. Their punctuality, note-taking, and efficient communication demonstrate their exceptional care and dedication. In conclusion, Moms In Motion is an exceptional service facilitator who goes above and beyond to meet our needs. I sincerely appreciate their commitment to providing top-notch service and advocacy. I highly recommend MIM to anyone needing a reliable and knowledgeable service facilitator.Moms In Motion, Inc
