      Really disappointed. not only did my service facilitator drop the ball and fail to respond to me OR reach out to the medical providers for over a month for needed documentation; when called out, instead of taking accountability for the situation and doing their best to resolve it, Moms In Motion simply dropped us from care. We're a week away from our 90 day **** where we'll have to start the whole process over. Terrible way to treat people.

      I'm sorry that you feel that you've had a poor experience. While I cannot discuss specifics of anyone's case on this public forum, in general, we do make several attempts to get paperwork for every single person that comes to us. We have an entire team dedicated to doing just that. So I'm surprised to see that your impression is that we did nothing.       Mom's in Motion claims to be short staffed as a reason for their bad reviews. I think they might be short staffed because there is failure at the top of the chain. Someone at the top needs to take responsibility for caregivers and transport not getting paid for weeks or months. The top seems to have disconnected from this responsibility blaming it on the lack of employees which has become a fall back for it laid on my desk and I had to preform in public so Mom's in Motion looks good. I am not a former employee that left or a client I have seen friends and family work and not get paid, while no one can be reach to answer why. It takes reporting problem to state rep then it will move. This is not good business.

      Ive been through about 4 different service facilitators since Ive started May 2023 and still have yet to receive back pay as my childs attended. Its hard to keep track of paperwork because once someone comes in I end up dealing with someone else my child is two and Im being told I could lose my waiver but cant use my waiver because the paperwork is incomplete this has been the most frustrating experience ever Ive applied to work 3 different times because they said they were short staff yet after 3 different interviews I did not get hired so cant be too short staff. Everyone is nice but that doesnt change the fact the no one seems to be able to help me and my family

      I'm sorry that you've had a bad experience. That is not our standard. We are currently overhauling how we do visits, so I'm sure you will see an improvement in our customer service very soon.

      They provided incorrect paperwork costing ** hours We needed help with appeal. Didnt get it. Asked for supervisor been almost a month no response no call no text explanation. ** says looking into it never calls back. Same hours since 2009 nothing changed in needs and level of care. If they show up for appointment please read before signing. I didnt until cut in hours and couldnt believe how inaccurate. M.I.M. was great until a few years ago. Now it's awful. I talked to other families its just not just 1 or 2 families. We are all not getting what we need from them. Please consider any other choice.

      I'm sorry that you've had this experience. I can't speak to your case specifically on a public forum, but generally your Service Facilitator (Moms In Motion or any other you choose) has no control over what the MCO's approve for hours. We do our best to justify all of the hours every family needs, but ultimately it is up to the Care Coordinator and medical reviewer at the MCO to determine the hours they approve.

      My son is receiving services in Harrisonburg VA initially we had an excellent facilitator who helped us navigate the paperwork and answered questions and returned phone calls. Since then we have had several facilitators and working with MIM had been a nightmare. At one time payment had been suspended and we were not aware of it until the respite provider could not get inyo the system. I lost respite for several weeks until that was straightened out.
      The biggest complaint since then is scheduling appointments. One time when I told the facilitator I could not meet on the day she suggested she told me that failure to keep visits could result in loss of services. I told her there was no way I could keep that appointment. I contacted her superiors but never heard from them.
      I sent her a list of times I could not meet. We agreed on a time. On the day of the appointment she contacted me nearly two hours early and said she was running ahead of schedule and wanted to know if bin could meet then. She said she would come at the regular time if I could not. I told her we could meet as soon as my son got out of the shower. She said she was 15 minutes away as she pulled up into my driveway. We meet for about 10 minutes. We did not schedule the next visit because she had she had 250 clients to schedule around. I have no idea when she will come again but my son has psychiatrist appointments, doctors appointments, therapist appointments and bloodwork that are on set schedules. I have my own appointments on set schedules. I have considered no longer using MIM but I cannot afford to pay respite out of pocket.
