      As it behooves me to half to learn, as well as finding out that Capital One financial institution is running a scam online. And especially when everything was set up a direct connection with my ***************** Credit ********** them for every payout till account was finalized but finished which happened in June 2022 as I was notified by my Navy Federal Credit Union, Navy Federal Credit Union and Capitol One. Cause afterwords I was told by Capital One that Im in good standings I owned a zero about 3 to 4 months later they tried to charge another. *** been had been personally calling them rudely been hung up on as my bank said to me everything is finish now no one acts as if they want or trying to fix the error. I had decided to go down in person to my ***************** to pick all documentation ** in my hand. But hopefully everything will be rectified and fixed, as soon as possible. Its headed toward a lawsuit case theyre causing a collusion on my credit score, which I had no problem at all. I only originally got their card to help bill build my credit score thats all I was doing from the beginning mistake has caused a su impact which I didnt have bad credit at all, Now remember Ill contacted both energies involved since this was set up as a direct payment account every time he gets worser. Also I had spoken to someone repeatedly numerous of times why being hung up its been a ongoing basis, only to get the runaround, so Im pulling up all documentation that will clear and verify that they are running some kind of collusion and scam enough unbelievable.

      Corruption, they allow customers to get scammed and robbed. They don't have the paying customers back. They should be ashamed of themselves.

      I had a checking account with them for the last 5 years and a savings account for even longer. I got an email saying that they had restricted my bank accounts and I called to figure out what it was about. They said they had done an internal investigation that day and had determined that there were fraudulent ACH attempts on my checking account. Rather than notifying me and giving me a new account number they terminated both my checking AND savings account without explanation even though I haven't had any issues with fraud on my account.

      Call Capital One to find out if they provided financial assistance to customers that were victims of hurricane ***. Spoke to 4 separate people including two senior specialists that told me they could not help me after I told them about my financial hardship (******* and ****** were the only two names I can remember). After one hour on the phone I was told there was no assistance to hurricane victims. I decided to log onto capital one website which stated there was help. This is unacceptable customer service! I am now still waiting on hold while I type the complaint because I explained the discrepancy between the website and what senior specialist is saying. This is beyond poor service. I will pay off my credit card soon and will not be doing business here again. Shameful service to say the least.

      Capital One refuses to raise my credit limit on my credit card. I have near perfect credit and pay my bill in full every month. They will not give me a reason for the credit limit increase. Extremely poor customer service.

      Capital One's *************************** is absolutely useless and incompetent. My ******* account has been broken into and there were over $700 charges on my Capital One card (that was link to the ******* account as payment method). I called the Capital One's *************************** as soon as I was seeing notifications on my phone that my card is being charged. The person I talked to assured me that everything is ok and all charges will be cancelled; there is nothing else I need to do. Almost 1 month later, all these fraudulent charges were back on my card, and I received an email from Capital One saying that they couldn't determine that this was indeed fraud, and basically I need to pay. From all the credit cards I've had, when it comes to Fraud Protection Capital One is the worst. They're not pro-activ and their so-called "investigation into fraud" is complete ********.

      Capital One offshore staff is engaging in false charges against Americans credit card accounts hiding under a claim that it is a charge from amazon prime starting at ~$13 now ~$20 per month, wiping out over pay claiming they sent a cheque to your address, falsely charging my account ~$95 for mcafee which I did not order, and then the always foreign controlled call centers reversing the attempts of other staff helping with suggestions to block false charges.

      This company does not want to work with you. I have called numerous times to try and get my outlandishly high percentage rate lowered and I have been told everything from "It can't be lowered as it's a variable APR and there's government restriction that does not allow us to lower it" to "CapitalOne is not lowering APR's right now for anyone." I have a solid credit score, over a decade of credit, on time payments above minimums and they will not work with me at all. They also could not answer any of my questions such as when was the last time it could be lowered and will it be lowered in the future. I was guaranteed by a supervisor that the option to lower would be available in the future (I have been told this for years) and that I would be notified via mail/email (I have never been notified by any credit card of this possibility.) I was continually told no one could answer my questions even though a lot of the information I was given was contradictory. I was told my interest could not be lowered at my request and when I asked who could request on behalf I was told "no one." They're literally just out for the money, can't even bother to give their support reps better scripts.

      I used Capital One when I bought my car to use for financing. They were HORRIBLE, so, I quickly saved money even took on a second job and paid it off. A few years pass and I was looking to build my credit. I was approved by capital one to receive a credit card. I go to long on and realize that my phone number on file is incorrect. The website and app arent allowing me to use my phone number, even though I had clicked the link they TEXTED me to take me to the app. So, I called the number it provided for customer service. An HOUR later, after disconnecting me multiple times because the automated system stated we had a bad connection. I finally spoke to someone. Someone who wasnt very helpful in giving direction on what I needed to do. After me asking what to do with the code they sent me. She yelled at me that I needed to give it to her. Which wasnt previously stated. My coworker was listening in and agreed that I was never instructed what to do. After she felt she helped me (she didnt) she disconnected the call. I call back to find out they had put my information in wrong and Im not only locked out. I have to wait 3 business days. Which is Monday. When I asked her what could be done. I was told nothing. Avoid this institution at ALL costs

      They solicited me for a $50K line of credit card, with 7% cash back if I spent $50K in 6 months. I joined, went to use card for a large purchase, denied it, said I had to build up a spending history. So how do you spend 50K in 6 months? Impossible. Closed account. Account was setup as estatement and autopay/full balance. Never received one statement, assumed paid in full. Notified by creditwatch they filed a past due report on me after 4 months. No statements, no call, nothing. They acknowledge external account for ******* says too bad I didn't get statements. Offered to send them email and spam logs to prove no statements sent, didn't care. Would not do anything to rectify report. THIS KNOCKED MY CREDIT SCORE DOWN 170 POINTS. IF YOU VALUE YOUR CREDIT SCORE STAY AWAY, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
