Every month I deposit a check from same account and they always put it on hold, supposedly for my protection, even though every time that check clears with no problems. And they won't do anything to clear it when is needed. I'll be closing my account as soon as the last one clears. I need my money when I deposit and not when they want.

Hello, I went to a restaurant Brewings on 5/17/22. My ticket total was $40.77. I typically order the same Classic Caesar with extra shrimp. The issue is I found a ladybug in my salad and immediately called them before they closed. A male id himself as the manager stating that he would replace the order, I was upset but agreed. About six weeks later I contacted them to replace the order and the female manager accused me of having the order already replaced three or four times! This upset me so much because I would generally spend money in their establishment about three to four times per month. I wrote a terrible review for the restaurant however I still wanted to be refunded. So I contacted Capitol One they gave me a temporary credit however reversed it stating it's their policy that I contact another competing restaurant and have them write a letter stating that a lady BUG is not supposed to be in my food. I feel this is very asinine and totally unnecessary, so I am filing my complaint... I took a photo as proof. The area manager insulted me suggesting that the bug could have fallen off me! I have bank statements two to three years back purchasing food from the chain I'm not sure why they would want to assume anything other than what I advised them of on 5/17/22.

Capitol One Credit Card is the worst company to apply! I have credit cards from other companies and have never had a problem like this one! I have sent them items they requested by mail and also by email to get my card activated. The documents by mail they could not see the back of my driver's license and the ones I sent by email they wanted the full page of my water bill which I sent them the stub that had everything!!! I just told them to close the account! I have several other credit cards that I have never ever had so much complication to get it activated!!! They are THE WORST CREDIT CARD COMPANY!!! I wanted people out there to know what I went thru!

I make my payment early on all my credit cards.but didnt know if I made a payment one day before the billing cycle ended which I didnt know what that date was , that it would not go towards that months payment but a double payment for the previous month. So I was told I had to make another payment for the same month I just paid early for or it would be considered late. I have always been told if u pay ur bills before the due date it was a great thing . But yet because it was paid 1 day early Im being penalized and having to double pay. I always pay way over what the payment is suppose for be every month. This is some straight up BS I think these companys just want people to be late so they can charge you extra fees. Didnt take them long to charge me for the interest that was charged before the billing cycle ended though. ??not a happy customer. If I would have known the exact date I couldnt pay before to start with dont u think I would have waited ? I mean who wants to pay twice in 1 month. This is wrong on every level.. You dont get rewarded for paying your bills on or before time and thats BS

I would like to point out that I have been trying to get intouch with someone and will be immediately filing a complaint with the BBB, Cancelling my card, and putting reviews on every website I can find because no one should have to deal with the way your customer service is ran. ********************** was my first credit card and I have had it for years. Never an issue until yesterday. I will not be disrespected or have my time disrespected by a billion dollar company with a **** star customer service rating. I have had my auto payment set up for years and it's alway been like $59.00 a month. I paid $1,000 last month on my own and this month they took $1,400 from my account instead of the $59 WE ALWAYS AGREED TO. On top of YOUR ERROR, I spent 20 minutes trying to get through your **** automation service... Guess you dont have the money to update that??? Anyways, finally got in touch with a account manager who hungup on me after I was being nice, and couldn't call me back? Then I got frustrated and had to go through the process again just for someone to RAISE THEIR VOICE AT ME and tell me you can't fix your own error. This is disgusting and a misuse of power and at the end of a pandemic?? If you need a loan to be able to have a customer service option FROM THIS CENTURY, let me know.

I am having a dispute with Capital One. I have been a cardholder for probably over twenty years, never missing or making a late payment. Recently, while reactivating my expired card online I found that I was automatically enrolled in a gaming program (8-HIB.COM) at $39.95 a month. I immediately contacted customer service and informed them I did not want this service and thought it was a very unsavory practice to sell any service or product on their activation page. I was assured this charge would not show up on my statement. Two statements later I am being charged. I again called customer service and reported this as a fraudulent charge. Was told to pay the full amount on the statement and a credit would show up on my next statement. Was also advised that I would receive a fraudulent charge claim that I would have to fill out and return. Questions on the form were not applicable to an internet service. So I filled out what I could and supplied a detailed letter. Today I received a reply stating that I did not supply enough information and the charge would be reapplied to my account. I again called customer service dispute claims and was told I would have to resolve this with the vendor. This means I would have to set up an account, username, and password and then unsubscribe. I dont recognize this website and dont want to risk identity theft by supplying any information about myself with this vendor. I contend that Capital One was responsible for the automatic purchase therefore they should be responsible for canceling the service. Furthermore I have not set up an account with 8-HOB.COM therefore I have non contract with this vendor. The only information they should have is that which Capital One illegally provided, i.e., my credit card number. I can see why Capital One now has a rating no higher than one. Have applied for a new MasrerCard with a new provider. I will be canceling both my Capital One **** and MC.

I would want to warn everyone not to use this card, especially for large purchases, or anything if you are looking to be protected. I made a purchase abroad, as purchasing abroad is risky I decided to use capital one, pay a hefty protection fee, to be sure I will be protected in the case I get scammed, or something goes wrong and the worst thing has happened I got screwed for $7k! Of course I had no worries as 2 licensed vets gave me a statement that makes my case very strong and very obvious I got scammed, after sending all supporting documents spending over $1k for vets to state the obvious, they closed my case and did not return my money. Of course I reopened, spent more money on another vet to state same plus some additional information so once this isnt gonna cut it for them and they close it again and stay on the scammers side I will dispute on here as well and may even go to the news, as I have more than what I need to prove that what I purchased was Not fit for sale. Capital one will take a scammers side if its large amount, I would stay away from them at all cost.I did make a deposit with Amex for same item, sent them same documents and was reimbursed the entire $1200 deposit 2 days later. I will still with Amex for everything, they are amazing and have their customers back always.

I called these guys up because somehow I am locked out of my online account and I wanted to make a payment. So I get the customer service rep from the Land Of Passive Aggression. This guy would NOT TELL ME what the payment due was. He kept going in circles. I repeated my question 4 times. Please tell me what the current amount due for this payment. I am paperless. He wanted to repeatedly explain to me things I already knew, but not the ONE thing I wanted to know. He wanted me to just make the payment. My payment is not due right this minute. I wanted to know the AMOUNT I would need to pay in order to work out my budget. Not to mention getting my online account sorted so I don't have to call in. This guy cannot be this stupid. But he is. Its seriously annoying.
