      They charged me to transfer a title the sent me a title with a lien on it ! I had to go to the dmv and pay again to transfer the title to my name !!

      Capital One is a joke when I called The representative I spoke to said I have an account but could not share any information with me about my own account with Capital One and I asked about my phone number and address on file and the person told me that they cant see that information that I had to go into a Capital One Branch location which is over an hour away. ? Why would I go out of my way to put miles on my vehicle and spend unnecessary money on gas when I should be able to get any information over the phone about an account with my personal information on it?

      They lower 66% of my credit limit for no reason. I have a high FICO >795, always pay on time and use the card frequently. I will never ever use a Capital One credit card. I have two credit cards that I will not close but will not use. If I close account it may affect my FICO. But definetely not using credit cards anymore. Also, my family, husband and all of my children will not be using or recommending Capital One ANYMORE. This is a ridiculous bank or whatever it is.

      The only reason why I still use their credit card after 4 years of headaches is because they offer 0 transactions fee for international charges. But at the same time I constantly worry about my money with them. Their dispute system is terrible. If there's an incorrect or unrecognized charge or the merchant doesn't refund you, good luck with that. Most likely you loose your money because they make you resolve the problem yourself. I've lost money a couple times with them. So far it's been $500 for 2 cases. Their representatives are useless and give wrong information all the times like who the heck hire incompetent people working with peoples money? They don't protect you and your money, they just want you in debt with them.

      Worse customer service ever. You call and IF you're able to get someone on the line, you can barely understand them or they don't understand you. They provide scripted, unhelpful responses to any and ever problem. I had a pending transaction on my account that already had been posted by the merchant and needed to be removed by THE ***** The bank being Capital One, who I contacted. Yet there is still nothing they can do. They provide absolutely the worse service ever.

      I closed all my accounts (credit and savings) with Capital One today. I had a dispute dating from March 2022 that they declined, pushing me off onto the vendor. After five months of being given the heave-ho they gave me the final tough, ***** to be you telling me the dispute was past their 60 day deadline. I had been going back and forth between them and the vendor constantly, providing documentation to support my position and still they said there was nothing they could (would) do. The vendor agreed with me and still Capital One would not resolve the issue. I was told contradictory things by Capital one all along the way (read: lied to). Okay, fine. Capital One, I will not have anything to do with ever again in my life and will tell everyone how I feel. You suck!!!

      If I could leave one star, I would. I opened a 360 checking account and made a mobile deposit of my payroll check thinking it would be available within a day or two. Checking account online it said that money would be available next day but was processing. After about an hour and after I had already set up payments on bills from that account I received another email that money would not be available for another 6 days. I then called and was told that they could not release the funds or return the deposit back to me so I could cash the check for 24 hours. I went to bank this morning and was told by rep that my check could be returned to me after 24 hours. I called and was told that they could not release anything until hold was up. Any payments I have made with that account will accrue penalty fees on top of that even though money is there. DO NOT use Capital One 360 checking. I have been a credit card customer for 8 years with them and never had a problem. Their checking is a joke. Very dissatisfied and am considering cancelling all accounts with Capital One.

      I have the most problem with logging on to my account. I use the correct password and username and their site says" we noticed something different about your log on" I tried calling their customer and it is a JOKE They do NOT OFFER the option of talking to a LIVE person. They also need to realize that people lose phone numbers and email addresses by moving and other reasons. I am very frustrated with this company and if I ever get to log on I will pay this account off and closing the account like a hot potato, DISGUSTED!!!

      Bad policies of Capital One to have to call your personal bank to verify payment with you on the phone. WHY would they care what bank it comes from? If it is your banks fraud issue then they will refuse payment. Because I was not willing to schedule time to allow them to call my CU (during limited hours) they closed my account for fraud which is fine, but then they refused to send my $70 rebate for the purchase I had made. Absolutely do NOT recommend this shyster of a bank.
