      I can't give them half a star, otherwise, I would. I have had a capital one account for over five years now. I had purchased the wrong tickets at an amusement park a couple of months back. The park, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Pheonix ***** $134.48 of my money and refused me service. Moreover, they refuse to accommodate or offer any resolution; the argument is that I picked weekday passes when really I picked weekend dates and showed up on a WEEKEND. So, when the staff refused entry, refund, or even accommodation I acted fast, I called Capital One. Now, this was not my first dispute with the company, but definitely the strangest. Capital One had me spend hours speaking with them on the phone, gathering documents, and faxing paperwork just to decide not to credit the money. I called back to make sure there was not an error. **************** transferred me to three different representatives saying "your case is closed, take it up with the merchant" Hardly the answer you expect as a five-year customer who did not even utilize the ******************** rendered. I reached out to Six Flags since the decision, but they still refuse to switch to the tickets that I wanted or give my funds back. I am quitting service with Capital One over this incident.

      I couldn't figure out why my card would no longer approve charges. Within 5 minutes the automated system found and resolved my issue. That has never been seen before! Their app is simple and easy to understand and they have good deals

      My ************************************ card is now a capital one card. I returned an expensive dress in June. Capital one did not automatically refund the balance after a billing cycle like many other retail businesses do. I called Neiman ****** to request a refund in July. They advised that is would take 10 business days to receive a refund check. After two weeks I called to say no check. They told me to wait another week. Today I called to say no check. They said they would cancel their check and I would have to wait for another two weeks to receive my refund check. Its for a sizeable amount of money. They will not fast track this check.If I did this to them they would charge me a $40 late fee and 27% interest. The manager told me they are in business to make money. Not refund money. I canceled my account. Both capital one and Neiman ****** have bad business practices. I advise that you dont shop at the store; Its gone down hill. But I will never again do business with capital one, as this isnt the first time Ive had difficulty with them - because of their poor practices. Unlike them - I pay my bills on time. If I dont receive a reimbursement check in another two weeks I will leave another review.

      My credit limit was lowered from ****** to ***** because I wasn't using the card enough. As a result my credit score has gone down 43 points. I've had this card for 10 years and never missed a payment. I've bought big things and paid off $10, 800 at one time. But since I wasn't using it enough they lowered the rate. I got horrible customer service saying there's nothing they can do. I asked a ******* to speak to a supervisor and she said she was the supervisor and there's no one else I can talk to about it. I requested again and she said no and hung up on me. The customer service is very dissapointing and should be called customer disservice.

      After I have been a customer with ********************** for ** years I can tell to all do not make my mistake simply do not have any business with this bank. They do not care about their customers or even will discriminate you or harass you on the first opportunity. I first they cut my credit line for no reason i have never been late on payments and always paid my credit card online. Second try to applied on credit card with highest credit score possible and they did decline on stupid reason simply not been able explain why and what. Again save you time and effort they do not care about their customers at all.

      I just discovered the capital one is the worst customer protection, I have filled a dispute and the merchant ask me to cancel the dispute to send me the refund , So I called Capital one to ask that if I cancel the dispute and the merchant lied about the refund then can I open the dispute again and they have confirmed that I re open the dispute at any time, The merchant stoped to answer and lied about the refund so I contacted capital one to open the dispute again, it was 2 charges , One they recovered for me and the other amount they told me that the time had past after the 60 days and that they can't refund me any thing, couple days later the sent me a letter that the amount they recovered for me was an error and they took it back, I am thinking to pay off what I owe capital one and never use them card again because they offer no protection for them clients and they lie over the phone and does't recognize them faults

      I waited for hours being transferred from one incompetent associate to another to file a simple dispute. It was never done.I always received conflicting and inconsistent information from each associate and was helpless to resolve my costly problem situation.The staff is insincere, uncaring and worst of all misinformed regarding simple procedures. Capital One does not operate in the interests of its customers. Of course I closed my account - never again!

      I have had a couple of Capital One accounts for many years and have never had a complaint until I disputed a charge on my Capital One ******* account. I didn't think it fair that I was not allowed my FULL refund from a ******* online merchant. The item was returned because it was not what was advertised. I was not told that I would be responsible for the return shipping and handling. In the interim, Capital One denied my claim. I am very disappointed with this company.

      I made the huge mistake of depositing a large check into my Capital One account. They have treated me like a criminal who forged an escrow check. I was guaranteed that the entire amount would be available within 72 hours **** They didn't even make a single ***** available after ********************************************************************************* six days. I called in to Capital One and spoke to various departments and people in a wide range of ranks, as I kept being transferred. They acted annoyed and informed me that I would have to wait eight days to get my funds. They are incompetent, rude, and refused to help with any of my questions. I have several large checks coming in, and they will NOT be deposited into Capital One. I am closing all accounts with them once I receive my funds that they are purposely holding for an extended period of time.

      Ive been a card holder with capital one for over 10 years and I was happy with my account I never had any issues or concerns. I would have recommended them to anyone, now I'm not sure. I paid off my balance last month which was $3,417 on my statement and paid before the due date. To my surprise I received a **** from them for $37.10 saying it was residual interest and I needed to call them before paying off my **** and they would have told me how much to pay not to go by what the balance says on your statemen but look at the "faq" section before paying. I asked if I could have the charges waived and they said my account doesn't give that option and when I asked to speak to someone that could they said no one in the entire corporation can do it. Which to me is a lie if they said I don't have the authorization I would have believed it..I'm very disappointed in the company I feel as though I was penalized for paying my account balance and they wanted more money from me. I can't believe a company as large as credit that can pay movie stars can't credit $37.10. Maybe that's why they can't give me the credit they are too busy paying movie actors big money they need to get more money from me
