      Just realized that I will be charged interest every month ($6.75) for a $300 cash advance I did a year ago. This will last forever, or until I close account or have a zero balance. Buyer beware!!. I most certainly will pay card off and send capital one off to other non-expecting people. Good luck.

      I've been with Capital One for nearly 7years. With little to no problems. Till today. On 8/2/2022 I scheduled a payment of $200 to my card. Yet today 8/3/2022 when checking my card. My balance is EXACTLY the same. Yet it also shows the $200 was received and so does bank account.Called Capital One. But they claim it is correct.From now on I will be screanshoting everything for proof. I suggest others do the same.

      I recently paid my full balance on my Capital One ******* credit card, and a month later I used some of it to get work clothes for my new job. I got to check my remaining balance and the card is listed as restricted. When I call Capitol One I'm told the account was closed due to fraud. I was never notified to see if I was in fact the purchaser or not, and I took a big hit on my credit score.

      I tried twice to open a CD with Capital One Bank. They closed the first one before it was funded because their policy is to close it after three days if it is not funded by then, even though they told me it would take 4 days to fund. They told me the second one would take much less time, but it also did not fund in time. They had no idea what went wrong, so there was no way I was going to be idiotic enough to try a third time, and went with a different bank (Discover). Also their verification process is a nightmare compared to other online banks, involving multiple hoops to jump through via emails, photos, and calls to their Indian call center.

      Be very careful this company will throw you in their "Bucket". I have two capital one cards, one I've had for 11 years and the other for 8. Finally received an increase on the newer card and a change from platinum to rewards. I've called about the oldest card and they constantly dance around with BS answers. 11 plus years without a credit increase, change from secured to unsecured, or upgrade to a better card. I have established a decent credit status and payment history. I hate to cancel the card because it has a great paper trail for purchasing and credit history, but it just seems like it's a waste at the same time.

      Credit card customer beware. They have no problem changing your address based upon an error that started with US postal service that was incorrect. When I called the phone number on the letter I received (only thing they did right) to report the error, I was told I needed to complete a verification process to change it back to my address. Because I didn't have my cellphone I couldn't complete the verification. Odd how they can change it with out my authorization but I have to jump through hoops to change it back. So I asked to speak with a supervisor and was put on hold for twenty minutes patiently waiting but was hung up on in the end. I called back and was told the same by the initial person who did actually get me to his supervisor. The supervisor refused to fix their error and correct my address and again said I had to complete verification steps to correct their mistake. I gave him my full social security number, my original AKA correct address and I was calling from the phone number on file. Still not good enough. This company is leaving the door wide open to fraud on their customers accounts. Please take your business elsewhere. You are a number and they truly don't care. In the future they WON'T be "what's in my wallet"

      I was doing a balance transfer to pay off another credit card and ********** messed it up for me. She transferred the whole credit instead of what was owed. Now, I'm stuck with no credit card to back up on.

      geez after reading over the other reviews about Capitol One it seems I'm not alone in my discord about the company, My story is that I was an excellent auto customer even paid off the car early and was due an overpayment refund for the amount I over paid and now just short of a month later still waiting for my overpayment refund and when I call customer service or even the resolution team I'm told its going to take longer because I call to much but boy if I had missed a payment i guarantee capitol one would have called me relentlessly!! I feel as if this is discrimination now that I've been told by a resolution specialist Sky ID ROU that i call to much and it will take the back office 48 hours to reply to his request for an update!! I cant believe they are still in business but its only a matter of time before a class action law suite is filed against Capitol one !! They lack transparency and cant keep there information straight when it comes to giving their customers any information about their accounts and or money !!!

      I'll keep this quick. During the pandemic, I was being contacted heavily by a Capital One call center overseas attempting to collect a year old credit card debt for $300.00. I was told that if the debt was not settled but paid in full, Capital One would remove the account from my credit report. Instead of settling, I paid the debt in full, fees and all. I am requesting for Capital One to review the calls and honor what I agreed to on the recorded line. I still bank with you guys but I don't trust you.

      *****************************, ***** right off the bat I have had nothing but bad things my loan went behind and when i tried to catch up I threatened right off the about dont worry if you dont make the payment today will take the vehicle. I explained I had just changed jobs with Covid and everything else jobs are closing and you have to move on. Right now I am trying to do a payment plan i had it set for **** and left overseas to do some training the person here that was supposed to take care of my account became ill i almost lost the vehicle got back and tried to set another set up and then i had an issue. I am now paying **** and almost **** a month how is this going to work and why the huge increase. I am trying my hardest to accomplish this but with the way that customer service talks to people and try to use threats as a valid way to communicate it makes not since. 95six5782667
