      Im so tired of Capital One's predatory practice & extremely concerned about what I believe to be a pattern of abusive and predatory practices by Capital One including excessive late fees, repeated harassing phone calls, and negative credit reporting that has severely impacted my financial standing.Over the course of a year my account has been charged over $1,500 in late fees with high interest, which is super excessive especially considering the disproportionately high interest rates applied. On top of these charges, Capital One has reported my account as a charge-off to all three credit bureaus, causing significant damage to my credit profile and limiting my ability to recover financially.Additionally, I have received multiple harassing phone calls daily, which I consider to be excessive and emotionally distressing. These communications continue despite the account already being reported as charge off, which raises serious questions about your compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Whenever I call their customer support I get transferred outside of **, majority of the time the customer service **** are young with language barrier. Ive tried to explain my situations but they sound like they are reading off their company script.

      i would do no stars but not available. I was onto the great $300 bonus checking AND when combined with savings another $300. I am in an ability which I never had before owing to ********** and not able. BUT NOW I AM ABLE TO HONOR THE REQUIREMENTS. P.S. I HAD NO MONEY BEFORE SO THIS SUPER $600 ***** WITH SIMPLE DIRECT DEPOSIT AND $500 A MONTH TO SAVINGS WAS IN MY REACH. I CALLED TO QUALIFY. THE ************ PERSON TALKED ENOUGH BUT SUDDENLY LOST THE CALL. I called back and got someone else, THEY ADVISED TO GO TO A BRANCH. I called a local branch, they said come in. But I had car trouble and was not certain I could make it without further engine trouble and would have to tow back to my rental place 35 miles back with huge tow cost.. So then I called customer service again. They finally got me to a **** HE TOLD ME I STILL HAD A 1 CENT BALANCE IN MY PREVIOUS ACCOUNT!! NEEDLESS TO SAY, EXTREMELY POOR PERFORMANCE BY THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM TO NOT ADVISE ME THAT I STILL HAD 1 CENT IN MY ACCOUNT WHICH THEY CLOSED FOR ME. SO NOW THEY HAVE NOT ONLY FAILED TO ADVISE ME THAT MY ACOUNT WAS STILL OPEN IN SPITE OF MY CLOSING THE ACCOUNT, NOW I WAS NOT ABLE TO ACCESS THE ***** TOTALING $600! IN SHORT, THEY HAVE TAKEN AWAY MY ABILITY TO MAKE ANY MONEY AND IRRESPONSIBLY FAILED TO ADVISE ME OF account closing details.

      I have been a Credit Wise customer for 5 years and a ********************** card customer for 10 years prior to that. ********************** **** did a soft inquiry on my credit on 6/16/2025. On 6/20/2025, I had an uninitiated hard inquiry on my credit report from Capital One. I talked to 4 different departments at Capital One who all informed me there are NO pending applications in my name and no one can give me a logical reason as to why there is a fresh hard inquiry on Equifax and Transunion from Capital One on 06/2025. I finally spoke to Credit *************** and tried to connect the soft inquiry they ran on the 16th to the hard inquiry that showed up on my report on the 20th (4 days later) and all they could do is confirm there are no active accounts or open applications at Capital one under my name or SSN. To me, the only logical explanation is someone made a mistake. Having said that, I feel THEY need to initiate the repair to reverse the hard inquiry on my credit report that I did NOT INITIATE. but instead, she wanted me to hand write all these instructions for me to write a letter and mail it TO REQUEST that they remove the inquiry. I am sorry, but this is truly unacceptable as this is clearly an error on their end and I have spent 3 hours on this issue already. This is extremely unacceptable, poor service and as soon as I get these inquiries removed my credit report (with however much pain is involved with that process ) I will be sure to no longer associate myself with this company who clearly does not seem to be very accountable for their mistakes or customer centered.

      I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK!This is the worse banking institution for a personal account. First of all they have NO courtesy overdraft like most banking institutions. If you are over by $0.01, you are declined. They do NOT do partial release of check deposits like of banking institutions like ***************, ************, etc. And even if you deposited a government issued check and call to get it verified for release in an emergency situation, you are in trouble if that check was deposited on a holiday or a Friday, because you still have to wait until Monday to get your funds. As a social security person, THIS BANK SUCKS! They have courtesies in place for loyal customers and NO customer satisfaction procedures. THEY DO NOT CARE! You could make the same deposit every week to month for years and they still will not release your funds on a loyalty customer! Looking for a new bank now!

      The change in the terms and conditiomns of the venture x credit card is rediculous. It is in violation of UDAAP. This should not pass through the ***. Our senators and house of representatives should look unto this blasphemy!

      I have been a client for 20+ years and have multiple accounts, but due to recent experiences, I will cancel my credit cards and move my money elsewhere. Specifically, this is due to the Capital One Travel experience, which is a "benefit" of some credit cards. I booked a hotel (not cheap) through them. For people who are not aware, they are just a third party; they get their bookings from Expedia (this is why they cost more than on any other site). Anyway, the experience was horrible, and it included a room without a functioning toilet (for > more than $200 per night). I raised these concerns at checkout and was told to contact the booking site. After three calls and several days of waiting, Capital One finally informed me that the hotel had not authorized compensation. They never opened a case or asked me to document my concerns, so I am not really sure what they did; but the result was an email stating ********** has just gotten back to us, and unfortunately, they were unable to authorize a refund at this time, even given the circumstances. Because were bound by the hotel's policies, we're only able to process what has been authorized by the hotel."So, no matter how unacceptable your travel experience is, Capital One would not do anything. In 30+ years of travel, I have not encountered a situation like this. I learned my ****** not to book through them, and it makes little sense to continue a business relationship with a company like this.

      Does not care about their card holders. Caused me to be late witch caused my account not to open back up. Even tho I placed a payment on the day it's due. They still said it's late. They don't even give u any opportunitys for late payments witch means they only wanna see you fail.

      Terrible customer service. Even if youre a longtime member which I have been for 10 years and have outstanding credit scores, they still treat you like garbage. Go finance anywhere else.

      Im trying to verified my card to apple wallet, as my physical card is not working. Both options to verify in the app doesn't work. So I called and They didn't helped with that and asked me to wait for a new card that should arrive in 7 business days ( so in this mean time i just dont eat and put gas in my car?) . The verification is on Capital One side, they don't have any other support .

      Someone contacted Capital One at 4:30am posing as myself and asked to change information on a new credit card I have not even received yet. I asked the customer service *** if they sent a numerical code via text or email to verify if it was me. I was told no. They do this all the time and failed to do this in the wee hours of the morning it ridiculous. Were was the security on my account. Their security to keep your money safe is not in place properly.
