      False advertising! Applied for quicksilver card on their website. Promotion was earn $200 cash bonus with $500 purchase and 0 APR for 15 months. I had a feeling when I got approved that wasnt the case. I got instant approval. I called same day when I got approved to confirm because I couldnt find that anywhere after approval and was told I had to call back in a few days cause paperwork hasnt generated. I got card on mail and still nothing about promotion so I called again. Agent said theres no promotion on card. That if I dont pay balance in full by payment date I will be charge 29% apr!!!! Why wasnt the promotion applied ??? I had an instant approval!

      ******* one holds pending bank transactions for 5 to 6 days after the transaction has cleared. There are two holds for the same transaction. It was an online grocery order that the amount changed but the transaction cleared, yet both holds are still there. They said there was nothing they could do until the transaction(s) cleared, yet the one transaction cleared. The two identical holds for the lower amount actual charge will never clear as they are ghost transactions. This is nearly $600 in what I suspect is banking fraud. I can not even dispute the transactions until they clear. A week of holding money that is already paid is far too long.

      Credit card service is abysmal. Features offered through ***** and **************** are not available... such a scam of a bank. Go with any other provider. My referral accidentally searched the apply link instead of my referral link and was not allowed to go back or fix this issue even after noticing within seconds. Capital ones response to me was that it is very unfortunate but I can still refer other people. Instead of helping me revive the well earn referral they are asking me to get another person to sign up. What a joke

      Over the past month, Ive had the worst experience with Capital One. Ive been a Venture cardholder for two to three years with no issues, until early May 2025, when Capital One suddenly restricted access to my card. They demanded that I send a copy of my Social Security card via fax or mail in order to restore access.I found this request to be outdated, insecure, and unreasonable in todays climate of identity theft and fraud. Mail can be lost, and faxes arent always reliable. I reached out for alternative options, but customer service was poor. Communication was difficult due to language barriers, and I had to repeat myself multiple times without receiving clear or helpful answers.Out of frustration, I paid off my full balance on May 11 and closed my account the following week. Despite this, I started receiving statements showing a past-due balance of over $2,500 with interest and late fees accumulating this past week. This incorrect balance has now been reported to my credit, causing my score to drop. I spoke with both a representative and a senior supervisor today, but neither was actively listening or showed any real understanding or empathy. The entire experience, from the unnecessary card restriction to the billing errors and poor service has been unacceptable. My credit report was updated today as showing a zero balance but I had to endure poor communication from at least 6 different representatives. This stressed me out a little bit. I am deeply dissatisfied with Capital Ones handling of this situation. I will never be a customer again and strongly caution others to reconsider trusting this company with their financial well-being.

      WANTED TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT..WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY..SO REPRESENTATIVE INFORMED ME TO RECEIVE MY $100.00THAT I PUT IN TO OPEN THE ACCOUNT WOULD TAKE 2 MONTHS FOR TO RECEIVE IT BACK..IS COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL..THESE COMPANIES ARE TRUE SCAM ARTIST..DO TO THE **** THAT PEOPLE ARE ONLY RESPECTED AS PROFIT FOR THESE COMPANIES

      200 on secured card unused. Capital one close it and told me it would take 2 billing cycles and 14 days to receive my own money back?

      I was offered a payment plan through Capital one that was after my due date. I was not charged a late fee then after the 2nd payment was completed a late fee was charged and I called in and they took care of it The 3rd payment came out yesterday and I looked and a past due fee was added. I called in and mysteriously no one can see anything of such on my account and is not able to wave the fee after being advised by the last agent that they would take care of it. Capital one's customer service is horrible.

      I know someone personally who works here and even seeing the stuff where they keep getting sued. No wonder! She is bad customer service. She's never happy. She's rude. I wouldn't have her as my credit card to swipe even if it did save me money. That's terrible. The lies that I personally see and how I know that there isn't security in information because she works at home because Capital One keeps their employees working at home... Not my thing. Hope people be aware of their information! They're scammers too.

      The worst customer service I have experienced with any bank. It is all outsourced so there is always a language barrier anytime you call. Opening a checking account with them was the wrong way to go.
