      I have repeatedly asked for my prescription and and signed a release to get my fairy new prescription and nothing! How the heck do businesses like this allow a perfectly good prescription expire after one year? Very very few people need a new prescription in one year! It's financial abuse to the consumer!

      If you have a lot of time and gas money to waste, this place is a perfect fit!
      The doctor got the wrong prescription and filled out the form needed by the DMV to renew the driver’s license ( 2 hour wait time to get your turn T DMV), I had to go back and see different doctor. In the process the had to go back and forth to this place to correct the issue.
      After seeing the other doctor and issuing the correct eyeglasses prescription, I left the eyeglasses for them to re-do them, four days later I got a text stating that they are ready for pick up. When I went to pick them up the lady at the reception desk said they only have the lenses but not the frame ( which I left with them on the day we saw the doctor) and I have to come back later on that day. After an hour I went back and receptionist (her was Carolina ) said they couldn’t find the the eyeglasses to install the the new lenses on, I said they already had them. She replied rudely, that she would not look for something they do not have. I told her that I gave to the other girl ( Stacy) and she can check the surveillance camera, she said with attitude we don’t have cameras and that not how we operate!! And you need to bring them back. Are you insinuating that I did not leave them with you, she said “again I would not look for something I don’t have. Then a gentleman who works there said we are going to re do them for again, Carolina jumped back into the conversation saying if you not pleased with our “service” you can go somewhere else, I ok but make sure to refund that purchase to the insurance so I can go and get them done in elsewhere. No respect or consideration to their patient’s health an time.

      I’ve been to the location several times for exams and new glasses and always got them back within a week. It’s now going on two weeks and called the office today and was told they are part of a larger company now and glasses take longer. I was placed on hold and was then told the lab just NOW received my frames and it would be several more days before they are shipped back out. Lab just now received after two weeks?! And now wait another week or more? I’ve never had to wait that long for new glasses. This complaint is not at all directed at the actual location or staff but clearly now being owned by a larger company has resulted zero efficiencies or benefits to customers.

      I am 24 and have never had glasses. I went and got my eyes checked as general check up. They told me I had a prescription and I needed glasses. I was ushered to a woman who sat me down at a table and kept offering me designer frames to buy. After finally deciding on a pair for the glasses I was told I needed, I paid $324 AFTER insurance. I get home, and come to find out doctors are supposed to give you your prescription immediately after you eye exam. I did not receive a copy, I had to sign into a portal to see them after my appointment. Come to find out, my “prescription” is quite literally the lowest possible (not even recommended for glasses) and I essentially got scammed into paying over $300 for reading glasses. If I had been given my prescription at the appointment I would’ve been able to check prices online. Unfortunately it seems they spied a young woman who had never had glasses before and withheld a lot of important information while pressuring me to buy glasses it looks like I don’t even need. I feel absolutely scammed.

      We've waited over a month for glasses - OVER A MONTH!!! Every time we call, we get a run around. They either say they will call back and then don't call back - or call back and say, "They should be here by later this week", but they never appear. Today Lamia from the patient relations department. She said she wasn’t able to get hold of whoever in another department, so she’ll have management check and give an ETA tomorrow. They have our money, eyeglasses ARE a health issue. This is deplorable!!!

      This place is horrible!! I go once a year for my apt. I went the other day and was 10 minutes late. No one said a word and when i walked in, the girls gave me a judgemental look as they were cleaning up and said the doctor had left for the day. Their customer service facebook sucks as well. They defend their employees and do not care to fix dissatisfaction. Theres a reason they have a 2 rating!

      I visited myeyedoctor Lorton, VA Office and had got the new prescription and purchased new glasses. I picked up the glasses on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, but found I couldn't read the monitor. I requested the prescription for the reading, but the doctor gave me the general progress lens prescription. I placed the 2nd order on Saturday for just changing the lens with my old glasses, then I didn't have extra glasses for reading. At that time, the attitude of staffs were very rude. Then I visited the office Monday (December, 5th, 2022) morning at 9:00 am and requested the staffs to cancel my order and to check my old glasses in their office several times. I said I needed the glasses immediately and couldn't work without glasses. But they said my glasses already shipped to the lab and couldn't find my glasses because the staff who placed the order will arrive at 10:00am. But it was not true. When I visited the office at the lunch time again, they still had my glasses. I couldn't work because of their lie and laziness. In addition, 1:50 pm was only available time to meet a doctor, but the staff said the doctor will arrive early for check my prescription. I said I should left by 2:00pm. But, the doctor came back to the office 2:05 pm. I was really upset and told them I wanted to get back my old glasses, but the response from the staff is "I'm done, we'll return your money." The staff said I physically attacked her. It was ridiculous. In the office, there are more than 6 peoples and they witnessed what was going on. THEY DIDN'T APOLOGIZE ABOUT THEIR AWEFUL SERVICE AND LIED I PHYSICALLY ATTACKED THE STAFF. I even didn't touch her. I just complained about their attitude. I already explained about my situation again and again and again to the staffs but they totally ignored customer's right! Those things are my faults? Your staffs behaved really rude and blamed on the customer. I've never experienced those kind of the worst service anywhere.

      I have been going to this office long before it was purchased by My Eye Dr, 18 years. Yesterday was my last time. The front desk staff is NASTY!!!! THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, ABRUPT, IMPATIENT AND DISINTERESTED!!!!! I should have recorded the conversation back and forth about the issues they have working there. I don't need to hear it. It took 1.5 hours for an annual eye exam. The atmoshere was saturated with an unhappy environment.
      I will say that the Technician who tested my eyes was wonderful and so was the Dr. It is sad that your first impression and waiting time was so bad I would not consider every giving them my business.

      The WORST Eye Care. The Workers doesn't have a Clue what they are doing. Receptionist looks Half Sleep. Zero professionalism or communication. Just uneducated & No Knowledge whatsoever Ladies that work here. Fresh out of High School Adults could have done Better. DON'T GO HERE, it WILL be a TOTAL WASTE.

      I would give them a zero if I can give him a zero star rating I went to this eye doctor to get eyeglasses on November 21st it was supposed to be $252.93 she double charged my account and told me that the first one had canceled out which it didn't she never even apologized to me they were very rude I went back in on Tuesday told him to cancel my whole order I got $252.93 back on Thursday 3 days later I went back in on the 22nd told the girl to cancel my whole order I did not want to do business with them still haven't received my other $252.93 I called there again on the 28th of November talk to the manager her name is Susy Rodriguez she told me I had to wait 10 to 15 days to get my money back she was rude nobody even bothered to apologize for taking all this money out of my account during the holidays mind you I asked her if she was going to do anything to compensate me for inconvenience in me during the holidays to take my money out of my account like this she told me there's nothing she can do this is the worst business I have ever been to very rude girls that work there
