      My 9 years old had some redness in his right eye. He also has his annual eye checkup during the same time. Since we had no appointment scheduled for him, we looked for doctors who are available to check his eye. We found Dr. Dissanayake Bupathi appointment at MyEyeDr at 1975 High House Rd. Cary , NC 27519.
      At High house center, they charge $10 copay and insurance $190.
      She examined my son’s eye, gave him 2 drops, and called us for a follow-up after 3-4 business days. She sent a prescription for an eye drop to different CVS inside Target which was not suggested by me. I need to visit CVS and ask them for eye drops and got to know it was not sent to this CVS. I asked them to pull the record and provide a drop from my CVS.
      On follow-up at at High house center, charged $75 from insurance.
      When we visited her for a follow-up, she examined his eye again and said his eye pressure moved from 10-12 to 30+ within these 3-4 days. She started saying which drop are you using. When said it is prescribed by her, she asked to discontinue that drop and again gave an appointment at a different MyEyeDr center 2075 Renaissance Park Pl, Cary, NC 27513 for a follow-up after one day.
      And when she is a specialist at Renaissance center, they charged $60 copay and $75 on insurance.
      When we visited her at MyEyeDr center 2075 Renaissance Park Pl, Cary, NC 27513, she become a specialist at this center and tried to refer to some different specialists. His eye pressure was a bit better after discontinuing her prescribed drops. It was 22.
      I don't why did she do this all for calling to different center to charge high money. The same experience Dr. at one center is a normal eye Dr. and at another center becomes a specialist.
      I have all prescriptions and payment receipts. Please advise me where to put the complaint against MyEyeDr or Dr.
      My son’s eye is still red and I have taken an appointment for him to visit another Dr. not from MyEyeDr.

      This MyEyeDr office in Kenosha Wi has been unprofessional since they took over. The Tec Tasha did not like that I refused a
      Service and refused to wait on me. Walked out into office and was Tasha was telling story and when I talked told Me to shut up.
      In the end the office manager
      gave copies of my files and told to go someplace else!

      My experience with this office has been very unsatisfactory. I have purchased a 2nd set of glasses in 2 years and have not been able to use either pair. Out of pocket exceeds $500 and still have to wear glasses made more than 5 years ago. Current glasses have progressive lens which are not correct. Have taken back twice without correction. Should not have to lower my head to see straight ahead. Cannot walk down steps without lowering head. Never an issue with the glasses I wear. 1st set was a prescription issue that was never corrected. 2nd pair appears to be correct prescription but wrong lens set up. Took pair back 2nd time and waited for over 1.5 hours and never saw anyone. No one cared in the office as I just got up and left. Filed a compliant on the website and got nothing but apology for the wait but no comments about fixing the problem. If you need eye care, I would not recommend MyEye Dr. in Rock Hill. I have new insurance now and this will allow the use of another doctor in this area.

      The wait was an hour, and the cost after insurance was way more expensive than at our other eye dr. I changed to them because our insurance wasn’t working at the other place and they said it can be costly because the frames are brand name, but i never had problems with other brands at other vision centers. Everyone is nice and friendly which is why i gave it 3 stars. But if my other eye dr happens to get our insurance working once again, I will go to them instead. $500 out of pocket for my two sons glasses compared to a maximum of $300 at the other place.

      The amount on my invoice does not match the amount billed to my insurance company, and I've gone in circles with inept people in their billing department.
      My insurance company covers 100% of my exam fees. MyEyeDr cannot explain why my insurance company was invoiced $145 for exam services, while my invoice shows exam services for $224. My insurance covered the $145 in full, but MyEyeDr doesn't understand why I'm balking at paying the balance of $79 that my insurance company was never provided. Also, received the invoice 11 months post my exam.
      My whole family has visited this location for three years and always paid at the time of service with no subsequent issues. This visit November 2021 has completely turned me off this company for good.

      The first week of September I ordered a pair of glasses from the My Eye Doctor store nearest to where I live. I expected to receive the glasses in a couple of weeks based on my previous experience with this store. After not receiving the glasses after a couple of weeks' time, I called the shop inquiring about the glasses, and I also went to the shop asking about the glasses. I was told on several occasions to expect to receive the glasses in several days. Additionally, I was told that the shop would give me a callback about the glasses. I received neither the glasses nor a callback from the shop. I, therefore, sent an email to Customer Service stating that I recently had cataract surgery and I wanted the glasses desperately as the glasses that I previously wore were no longer working for me. I received no reply to my email. I then sent Customer Service another email and again received no reply. I then decided to send a third email to Customer Service in which I stated that I live in a retirement community with more than a thousand residents and that I was in close contact with many of them. Within two hours I received a call from a Customer Service representative who told me that I did not receive the glasses because I had not paid for them up front. Well, I was flabbergasted, as I was never asked to pay for the glasses upfront and as the Customer Service representative did not ask me for my credit card number so that my order could be processed immediately. Further, I expected to be told that I would receive the glasses with a hefty discount given the poor service that I had received, but I was told no such thing. Well, the upshot is that that I went elsewhere for my glasses, and I will be telling my friends and neighbors about my experience.

      Horrible customer service. First of all my appointment was canceled when I made the appointment the day before. I was told it was canceled after I didn't answer the confirmation call which I never received. So I had to wait until they were available on a Saturday to avoid missing work. I explained to the lady that does your initial exams and takes you to the exam room that my contacts kept getting white dots all over them and I wanted to see what it possibly could be from wearing contacts even 1 day and requested daily contacts instead of the biweekly/monthly. She told me I didn't want them because they're too expensive. I explained to her nicely that my vision is PRICELESS and I wasn't concerned how much it costs. After meeting the optometrist that I just love seeing she agreed the daily would be the best option and is the easiest and most healthy as well. She prescribed them for me after my eye exam. I also got some trial lenses of the daily lenses and absolutely loved them! It was $386 out of pocket after my insurance coverage so I was thinking wow these aren't much more expensive as previous years. When I received my contacts in the mail they were the biweekly/monthly which I explained several times I did NOT want because they don't last me the full time from the spots showing up on them. I called them back and they explained there's not much I could do. I can bring them back to them and pay $777 for the daily lenses and then they'd request the insurance company to transfer that coverage to those and $200 some odd dollars of the amount I paid. Why should I have to go through all that hassle and give more of my money and precious time to get what I asked for several times to begin with? Why does no one care that I didn't receive what I was prescribed?? The insurance on the contacts only cover 12 lenses so each time I have white spots all over my contacts in a day or week they won't be covered and will not last me a year so it's a waste of my time and money!

      Rude and unprofessional! I have never been treated so poorly. Prescription reading glasses are not usable. In order to fix need to have another exam with Dr who is on vacation or does not have any openings in the next month. Tried 3 times to resolve and last time was spoken down to and with a real attitude told me nothing was wrong with the glasses and it is my fault.

      Very frustrating experience from the eye scan to the repair. In May 2022 I visited our local Hastings office and was asked if I would like to have a scan done, it was only $39. I told Sunshine (name of person who performed test) “No thank you” three times, she said I would not be charged but that she had to perform the test. I said again, I do not want to be charged for this as I do not want it. Fast forward a couple of months later, I received a bill for $25. I phoned and was told it was because my insurance plan was new to their system and its an overage due, at the time of checkout in May I paid 100% of my bill. No balance should be owed. While discussing, we discovered Sunshine indeed charged me $39 extra for the cost of the scan, she was not supposed to do in the first place. He refunded the $39 and I accepted it as resolved.
      Just 4 months after receiving my new glasses, the welding on the right arm disengaged. I had purchased the warranty plan, was quoted $44 for my portion of the repair. Went in, Tim assisted me. He was the best part of the whole experience. But… that $25 balance that was not valid was still there. This should have been resolved months ago when the $39 was refunded.
      When I got home I started looking into the manufacturer’s warranty (After working for a warranty company replacing furniture and am well versed with the process) to cover my out-of-pocket cost. Reached out to The McGee Group, explained my situation and they let me know the vendor is who would initiate the claim. Called the Hastings branch for assistance, Sunshine answered and told me they do not work with the manufacturer however I owe $25 (this again!). I explained that I just need to know who to contact for assistance and the Corporate office could help, explained my experience in dealing with manufacturer’s warranty and I am not asking for her to help me do it, just a phone number to the corporate office and I am sure someone there can help me.       My eye exam went fine the eye doctor was nice. The issue I have is with management at the Gaithersburg Maryland Kentlands location. I brought in my own frames for my prescription. When I drop them off the guy that took them didn’t tell me that they don’t send the frames out. I didn’t know that the lenses get sent to the location and you’re supposed to bring your frames back for them to get put on. So he took my frames and told me that I would receive a call when they arrive back at the store. One month later I’ll call to figure out what’s taking so long. At first they said that it was a shipping delay. Once I got a call stating that the lenses were there, I was told to bring in my frames so they can get fitted . I had explain to the person that called me that I had left my frames there with the guy that was helping me. Once I got a callback at the end of the day after they tried looking for the frames I was told that they were lost because the guy didn’t know where he put them. I’m 100% sure that he stole them because how do you lose a pair frames . I was told that he wasn’t being held accountable for losing my expensive frames and all they could do was give me a different pair that they have at the location. They don’t sell Chanel glasses so why would I want something else? This place is shady and I would avoid it At all cost. They don’t even have a customer service number
