The staff and glasses are fine. However, after I paid for my glasses (partially using insurance, but several hundred dollars of my own money), then, I got a bill in the mail charging me more money. The explanation was that the insurance company paid less than the estimate.I've bought glasses from many places for many years. Only at MyEyeDr have I had this additional bill. Very frustrating and I won't go back since I don't know the price, even after they tell me the price.MyEyeDr

Both my wife and I are regular customer of ******************** near *************** in ****, **. we never had issue in the past, as we had separate vision insurance. However, last year due to general insurance, lady at front desk mistakenly charged $40 specialist fees. Issue was brought up at that moment, as annual eye exams were fully covered under insurance. Front desk lady did not want to review insurance information as my wife suggested. We were told that when they file the claim we can address the issue then. It's more than 7 months, and this branch never filed claim to insurance, even after our request several times. I even provided proof of the coverage and sent it over to accounting lady per her request. More than a month and no filing or response. It seems like, either these folks are completely clueless, have no qualifications to even read a document or just want to pocket the money. Otherwise, why would any business not file a claim to insurance company after providing services? This is the worst experience I have with myeyedr. Obviously, no more this business will be supported, who are busy in stealing their customers. I have requested to refund the overcharged amount, again ... no response. It ***** to waste time on something that is rightfully yours. What a shame and what a scam?MyEyeDr

Worst Front Desk Ever During a visit, it came up that I had a previous issue with the front desk whereas a pair of prescription sunglasses that I had purchased there kept falling apart. I had brought them back in and the lady who worked there at the time replaced them. After it happened again, I returned again and then gentleman tech (****) assured me they would be replaced. After weeks of waiting and no call back, I reached out to **** who coldly told me that there was nothing they could do.Given my previous issue, we decided we would order my new pair from Warby ******. After I received my prescription from you last week, my wife and I had decided to go to Warby ****** to order my new sunglasses. My wife and I arrived at ****************** and the tech took one look at the prescription. She looked up at me and simply said, "Somebody must have it out for you."The expiration date on the prescription was 2023. It had expired a year prior.This was pretty upsetting. I came back in today to see if I could speak to the doctor personally but when I realized that Mr. ***** is the general manager (and the one I had given negative feedback on the requested feedback link on his horrible demeanor), I realized there was no point. He didn't notice the problem and asked. After pointing it out, he simply said, "That's weird," but never apologized. He did not seem remorseful at all. I asked who the owner was and he proudly told me they were out of ******** and back by *************************. Why he thought that would impress me was beyond me. But again, he never apologized for the inconvenience.I will never go there again.MyEyeDr

The prescription I was given did not match what was Shown during the eye exam, I was given trial contacts and told the contact the office with any problems. I talked to office manager, **** that was very dismissive and not at all professional after my exam The trial pairs that they were going to give me were outdated in 2022 I asked to speak to the doctor to see if they could do anything without me returning as **** told me it was the same prescription. That was the one I walked in with And the doctor that I talk to said, my eyes had gotten worse, You would think they would contact the doctor to have a conversation with him they would not and I need the doctors name to Make a formal complaint with my insurance companyMyEyeDr

I have used this MyEyeDr in ************ for several years, but stopped while having cataract surgery and followup by a retinal specialist. As soon as I hit the one-year period for reimbursement by health insurance, I began to be bombarded by emails from MyEyeDr about scheduling an annual eye exam. I called this office and reached an understanding: I would call back in March 2025 to make an appointment in June. Despite this, I continued to get these emails. When I called back, they laughed and said the emails came from corporate HQ, not them. Bottom line: theyve made a decision to ******* my in-box with useless emails that are no longer relevant to me because its cheaper for them. I have since switched to another company.MyEyeDr

I went here back in October for my prescription safety glasses. My job covers the glasses 100% plus a copay. Of course My eye dr added fees on and I payed them only to get to the register and they told me I was not on the list. I had to go back to hr and they said I was on the list. I went back the very next day and of course I was able to order my glasses. This as back in October. I was suppose to get my glasses by December 6. The website said it needs more time my ********** went to another ** and it only took 2 weeks.once I get my glasses I will no longer go here for my vision. If you need your glasses on time please go somewhere elseMyEyeDr

I went for my annual eye exam and new lenses only, Oct 14, 2023. The total for lenses only was over $500. I received a letter in the mail stating CAPITAL VISION SERVICES LLC DBA MYEYEDR owed me $267. I followed the instructions on the letter, signed and sent back. I still have not received the overpayment check. It clearly states on ******************** OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY ADMINISTRATORS website that CAPITAL VISION SERVICES LLC DBA MYEYEDR owes the above monies to me that have not been received as of 12/8/2024.MyEyeDr

******************************************************** The worst experience I have every had with a company. Both ******* and ********* are simply bad, I have never dealt with the lack of customer service before. I came in for contact AND eyeglass exam and was given an eye exam and prescription for both. I ordered contacts and was never informed of when they came in, I showed up multiple times to get them after I called (one day they were doing inventory early on a Friday and were closed) and now when I attempt to order glasses from another website I need my pupillary distance which they can't provide. ******* placed me on hold for twenty minutes when I called and then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and spoke with ********* and she stated I needed to come in AGAIN for them to measure and be able to provide that information to me because its not part of their service? THEN WHAT DID I PAY FOR THE FIRST TIME I WAS THERE AND WHY DID YOU GIVE ME MY GLASSES PRESCRIPTION??!!!!!! If I could give less than one star I would.MyEyeDr
