1 starHello, I just got this new phone and I was with another company and went back to Metro because they were the best. The phone I have I don't know what is going on with it is dropping the calls and doing other things. I am 67 years old and I'm not technology literate so I would like to know what I should do.? The salesperson ***** on ***** Street is very good I will give him that he works very patiently with his clients. But could you tell me should I take this phone back and get a different phone? Thank youReview fromTommy J

1 starI spent $1500 on what was SUPPOSED to be a NEW ******* z fold. I use term supposed because once I was home I notice some games and other business apps were already on phone. I figured they must have some type of contract with ******* or something. I started experiencing problems loading steaming services and GPS 2-3 weeks in. At first the problem was sparingly then over next few weeks it increased becoming an daily issue. I contacted ******** customer service. I was sent another phone (refurbished) . I stared experiencing problems on 6th or 7th day after receiving phone . Caller ID stopped working was only able to answer or end calls with Bluetooth. Basically the call screen wasn't working. Now the words are overlapping on some sites . They are now sending me another refurbished phone . I'm still paying for a new phone. I don't believe I've had a new phone yet. I want a new phone. I didn't think ******** was this type of company. Why would they sneak a used phone in on me . $1500 is a lot of money to spend and have to deal with these issues. I wouldn't recommend ******** to anyone. ******* is the only phones I've ever purchased. They sell a great product. I believe my issue is used phones.Review fromApril C

1 starI have been a Metro Customer for more than two years. When I first got the service everything was fine I had good data connection and no dropped calls or interference with using my data. This honeymoon period did not last long. They advertised this "5G" PHONE and I only received "5G" the first month or two, and if I did it was only on my back deck. Two years later I get horrible service if and when I do get it and never "5G". A couple months ago I went in to the store to address these issues and pay my bill while I was there. Would you believe I was charged an extra 5 bucks because I paid in cash in the store, I was appalled. The gentleman working that day said that there is nothing that can be done about my service even though I can't even be in the middle of town and get directions because no service. I am so disappointed with this not only am I not getting the service I pay for there is nothing I can do but buy a, "NEWER BETTER PHONE.". ??. The ****************** SERVICE leaves me sick and I am so tired of this company taking advantage of folks who, these days, must have a phone and service to be able to function in society. I agreed to pay a certain amount for a typical service and I'm the only one holding up my end of the deal. I am changing service and product. If you are looking for a competent company who has good service that is reliable, a service that won't throttle you solid 24/7 and a product that is dependable I can only tell you my experience and nightmare I have had with them. I can't continue paying for something I'm not receiving. ?? I want to caution anyone looking for service do your homework and don't fall for their gimmicks. I CAN NOT RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. ??Review fromEDGAR C

1 starI had a terrible experience with ********* I got charged for service even though the phone was returned and there was no usage. My credit report has been negatively affected twice because it was already passed on to 2 collection agencies. I tried to call them multiple times and even went to the store to settle the issue but to no avail. I decided to file a complaint with BBB and just after 2 days a senior specialist from their executive response contacted me informing me that they credited my account to 0 and they also took back my account from the collection agency. It took more than a year of stress and frustration before it was finally resolved.Review fromAngela R

1 starMetro PCS is some garbage. I broke my business phone and went to the store in to purchase a phone in ******* **, however they told me i could not port my phone number over so they had to give me a new phone number with a new phone. The girl just took my money with no receipt or paperwork and a bad phone!!!! I am missing calls and so forth. Foremost it's bad because this is a business phone and i had to get a new number. I go back to the store, they so called reset the phone, that didn't work, then the next day i go back to the store and they tried making me buy a **** card for $50. I said nope i am not doing all that. So i call the phone number was given the run around. I talked to 15 people before i was told to call Metro back. I called Metro, then the insurance, then the manufacturer then back to Metro. Once i called Metro for the 5th time the woman over the phone stated she would send a replacement, i talked to her 2/17 she stated that the phone would be here Monday 2/27, well no phone and the conformation# she gave me was bogus, because i chatted online with one of the reps and when i gave him the conformation# i asked for the tracking #, well that tracking # was from Jan. SMH I need a new phone and gave up $200 and no one is helping me. Do not do business with them everyone should disconnect their phones with them and put them out of business if you ask me. I will be switching my phone service. Don't even want to give them a star because they don't deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!!!Review fromJulie A D.

1 starI was with ************ and I heard about the promotion from metro if you switch you get a free phone you get the $70 Plan for $40 a month. I went in a store in *************** with my boost phone in order to change Plans and get my free phone. The girl on the register said it shows I was already a metro customer so I would not be allowed any of the free phone good plan et cetera. I explained to her I've been with boost for years and years and I don't care what your computer says I am not currently a metro customer. So instead of contacting management or calling anybody she just showed me the screen and said it shows that you are a metro customer I was highly upset at this time so I needed a new phone with a better camera I needed a better plan overall So I wanted to take advantage of The worldwide advertised deal that they are offering everybody to switch. instead I got charged a $129 for the phone A $125 To activate And pay my 1st month's plan which was supposed to be $40. She said to go home and call the ************************************************************************ So when I got home I called and the customer rep on the phone said The store was mistaken it shows that you became a metro customer at the exact time and day that I was there to switch plans. They told me to go back to the store the next day talk to the manager Which I did and he was no help either. I told him I wanted a refund for the phone and I was willing to pay the taxes on the phone which was to be about $35. I even said just put the rest of the balance that you would be returning to me towards my bill so I wouldn't have a bill for a couple months. He said well I can't refund you any money are you gonna give me the phone back? And I said absolutely not you have a worldwide campaign going on about Switching free phone great plan et cetera. I called customer service again and they said they would file my complaint and extradite it to the complaint department, still have not heard a wordReview fromWALLY B

1 star?? CUSTOMER ACCOUNT FRAUD/ SECURITY ISSUE IGNORED BY METRO:Total Nincompoops... I have been with metro over 10 years. I received a fraud text message (SPOOFED TO LOOK LIKE IT WAS FROM METRO) trying to solicit my Metro payment to another web platform (other than metro). I explained this to the metro agent (out sourced to call center in ***************) and they were totally discombobulated. I explained the security issue. I asked if metro's security department would like the web site that is trying fraudulently collect payments from Metro's customers? They responded by reading a written script " I assure you your account is secure". it appears that METRO PCS DOES NOT TAKE CUSTOMER'S SECURITY SERIOUS or THEY ARE INCOMPENTENT. ---??I predict they will respond with a ************* script that is a slight variation of all the other responses.Review fromTristian H

1 starYesterday I visited the Metro by T-Mobile store at ************************************************* wanted to get some of my contacts transferred from an old phone to a new phone. After waiting for 2 hours, I was told I need to get a new battery for my old phone. The manager (******) did not seem to interested in helping the employee (*****) while dealing with customers. I will not go back to that store. Very poorly managed!Review fromWhocares N

1 starPurchased new phones and switched from ******* to ******** about 3 weeks ago. Numerous issues from calls dropped, 2 text message apps trying to override each other, and no voice mail. I've tried all recommendations on the app, and called customer care several times and lost count how many times I was transferred, or arguing with a bot. iIt is apparently my fault for leaving *******. No one has a clue how to fix this voicemail.
