1 starThey are blocking my review on ******* I just had my procedure Wednesday 07/19/2023 at around 830am. And it was the worst experience of my life. It felt like I was part of a saw movie. I have a very high tolerance for pain. I have a ton of tattoos, but that procedure hurt like h*** I did my research, and it was supposed to be painless. I don't know what happened. I was crying during the entire procedure and shaking. The doctor never stopped or gave me a break. I sooo wanted to quit several times in the middle of the procedure. I will NEVER go back for anything else with Sono Bello, and I will NEVER recommend this procedure to anyone. PLEASE DONT DO IT!!!!!... Follow up as of today 07/21/2023 Friday. Seems like my body absorbed the lidocaine that was given to me much quicker than other people. So I felt everything after it wore off. It was incredibly painful. I know it's rare, but this is something that should be a warning to patients before getting the procedure done. And nobody told me this could happen. I was under the impression it was supposed to be painless, according to the research I did beforehand. I know they probably want me to remove this review, but I will not because people need to know that this is a possibility that this can happen to them. And I DO NOT want anyone to go through the pain I went through. If they don't warn people beforehand, then I will!Review fromCleris S

First of all, this is my own experience, not anyone else's. I am on my way to being 2 weeks post op, still do not really see a difference. Initially I thought I did but I seem to still look the same, they say to wait 6 months but I have had lipo before and saw a difference right away also here they do tell you that you'll see immediate results. Going back to the day of the procedure they give you a little cup of pills for pain and anxiety that makes you loopy. Its local anesthesia so they just use lidocaine to numb you and being 100% honest I felt so much pain during the procedure. Their website says that you don't feel pain but I absolutely felt pain and you cant move because the dr. tells you not to, the website 100% lies about not feeling pain. It felt like torture...I would never do that again. *****% would prefer having general anesthesia. Also, I dont think its best that you dont have any drains because you have so much fluid in you still. They also made it seem like its just so easy and you do the procedure and then you're back to normal....no.....it is surgery and there is nothing easy or simple about that. Not to mention they barely give you enough meds for pain after you leave. My recommendation: go to a normal surgeon where you will get everything that you need and not be tortured and you'll probably spend a lot less money. Oh and if you do end up coming here the ***** treatments are booked months out so book yours right away.Sono Bello

On June 17, 2023 @925 I went into ******* Sonobelllo, located on ***************** for my scheduled appointment. Coming in I was told that the consultant was behind. I waited over 45 minutes. I was called back and I sat through the consultation under the impression that I was going to meet the surgeon and only pay for deposit for my requested procedure. Sadly I did not get a chance to meet the surgeon and the consultant stated at the very end that Ill be paying for the entire procedure upfront in order to have to procedure done. So I scrambled around for the payment, due to only being informed originally that I was only paying the deposit. After Leaving the facility I immediately regretted my decision so I called the following Monday June 19 to cancel. Ive called a total of 8 times only to get the run around for about 4 days. I finally reached my original consultant on June 23, 2023 and I voiced my concerns about not wanting the procedure done. I voiced that It wasnt what I thought, too expensive and that the reviews werent that great. I submitted my payment under false pretenses and I will not be able to afford the procedure I booked, and requesting a refund. She did inform me that she was able to cancel my procedure. However I have yet to receive any additional information since June 23 nor have I received a refund. Please helpSono Bello

I have surgery in November 2022,I do trisculput lipo and AbEx, in *******. i talked to *******, who does the contracts. In the beginning, she was helpful, but after a while, she seemed like she did not want to answer my questions or help. They scheduled a date for the operation, and ended up changing it last minute. The day of the operation, it was very painful for me and they told me it doesnt hurt, being very dismissive of me. They told me they would send me a waist trainer and they never did. In my first visit after the operation, the nurse asked if i had a waist trainer and i said they told me they would send me one. The nurse then told me that I have to go and buy one. At first she said they didnt have any, then she finally brought out two waist trainers. She brought out two different sizes and told me that i had to choose one and could not exchange it if it didnt fit; she didnt even let me see the size. i choose one and it ended up being too big, so i had to end up buying my own. Months passed by, and i saw little to no change after the operation. I saw the same nurse and vocalized my concerns. I also let her know that the operation left me uneven. One side of my belly was unproportionate to the other side and seemed to have more fat. Also, in the area of my hips/ovaries, there seems to be a lot of extra skin/fat. It looks very abnormal. The nurse continued to dismiss me and did not care. finally, I got to see another nurse, who actually looked at me and agreed with my concerns and told me that I need to see the doctor about this. The doctor said they couldnt fix the belly area, but that they could fix the hip/ovary area BUT leave a large scar hip to hip. Also, this doctor that I saw did not do a proper diagnosis because she didn't even care to touch or observe the areas I was trying to show her. it was obvious she didn't care. This operation ended up leaving my body worse and painful, I do not want another operation like this. I just want my money back.Sono Bello

If I could I would not give any stars. I had a Liposuction procedure scheduled. I was to receive a prescription before the procedure. . After checking with the pharmacy several times I called SonoBello trying to get the presciption. They told me they were having trouble getting my xray and blood work from my DR. I called my DR and got them the right portal to use to get my records. When I went for my Pre Op appointment I was told I really need to add the skin fold to get the results I wanted. At my initial appointment I declined the Skin fold because it was over $4,000.00. All of a sudden the cost became $1,000.00+ if I agreed then, which I did. No word yet on the prescription. Finally the day before the procedure, I was told they could not do it without a release from my ******* course there was no way I could see him the same day. They tried to tell me it was my fault. I asked for a refund. As of today I have not received any money. I called yesertday and was told they would only refund half of the over $8,000.00 I had paid. They claimed since I cancelled (which I did not) that after Pre Op they are entitled to keep 50%. All PreOp consisted of was taking a few pictures and a 5 minute discussion with the ******* was then I was talked in to signing up for the skin fold. I had reserved a Limo for transport down and back. I was totally committed to have this done. Since then I have seen a new plastic surgeon. He told me I was not a candidate for Liposuction and he would not do it for me. I think that is why they wanted me to have the skin fold. They new I would not be happy with the Liposuction and this would justify my spending.Sono Bello

******************, I went in in December 2022, I had my lower stomach and hips done.Who ever said its minimal pain must have a real high tolerance to pain, I felt everything and told the them several times.After the procedure, I came home my bandages were soaking wet.After removing them my skin had been taped in a folded position. I took pictures of my stomach when I got home with the bandages still on and with them off , my skin was literally taped folded over on the right side. As of now, 6 months later I still have an indent and crease. I pointed this out every single visit. My stomach is not flat as they show on the commercials I have bumps here and there and my left side looks smaller then the right side.All these concerns I would tell the nurses each time I went for my check *** but got the same answer, wait for the 6 mo it takes time for swelling and body to go back to normal. I did go back to the gym as soon as I was able. Sit-***, walking and lifting weights, eating right has not changed what I thought would help me achieve my goal. I went for my 6 mo check up on 06/23, I left beyond ***et, again voicing my opinion and concerns about the results. This time they had a different Dr come in and talk to me. She was very rude she yanked my underwear down as if she was angry that she had to come in and talk with me. She was grabbing and pinching my skin on my lower abdomen pulling it away from my body saying that is why I have the crease.I was embarrassed and beyond angry??The only thing she offered me was skin removal for an additional charge and threw in the insults for free.Such as Im old and as you get older your skin sags, You can see your skin has lost its elasticity all over.**** you lady?? I didnt come here to be verbally bashed on my aging skin. She did not fully address my concerns of the permanent crease or the lumps. She told me to take collagen to help and give them a call if I change my mind about the skin removal. What a joke!Sono Bello

On May 24, 2023, I had lipo and abex done at Sono Bello located at ***************************************** On 6/3/23, I had my one-week post-op appointment with nurse *****. I changed into my gown and was instructed by ***** to sit on the exam. I made multiple attempts to sit on the exam table on my own as ***** stood far away from me with her hand on her hip and head tilted to the side. I asked ***** can she please assist me with getting on the exam table because my wounds were fresh and I was still experiencing soreness and pain. ***** looked at my chart and asked why did I have a post-op appointment on a Saturday because no doctors are in the office. ***** at this. time still made no attempts to assist me to get on the exam table. I asked if she can assist me again with getting on the exam table. The nurse ***** stated, "Do you want me to push you back on the table? Because I can't." ***** then stated you can go to the operation room since you can not get on the table. I felt so disrespected, humiliated, and traumatized. ***** walked out of the exam room. As I was putting on my clothes back on, ***** walked into the exam room without knocking and said I told you can go to the operation room. I informed ************ was uncomfortable with being in a vulnerable state with her temperament and the disrespect she had displayed towards me. I went to the front desk and informed the **** of my experience with ***** in the exam room. She said she will reschedule me for another day. I asked for the remaining items that were supposed to be included in my recovery package. It was not available. For example, I was informed at my 1-week post-op appointment they will have my faja. They did not have it. In fact, they did not order my faja until 06/06/23. When I received the faja in the mail it was actually shapewear( skims dupe). On 06/06/23 I called Sono Bello because nobody called to follow up. *** the office Manage was dismissive, insensitive, and passive agrrive. I had to go to urgent care...Sono Bello

Sono Bello Norfolk does not return any messages nor phone calls when trying to cancel appts and receive refunds for services that WERE NOT rendered. I have left many messages via text and spoke with a receptionist to get the person who did my consultation (***) or a financial supervisor to give me a call back. There was no issue at all for *** to return my calls or messages when they were collecting money to schedule procedures but now no one is around to be found. I had to actually go in person to the office to find out that *** was was so called not in and would not be back until the end of next week. Which ironically enough is after my scheduled appts. Please do your due diligence and read the available reviews about this company. Please do not waste your money or time. This place is definitely scamming people out of money!Sono Bello

WHY didn't I think to check BBB BEFORE I threw away thousands of dollars?? Had lipo on my stomach, sides, and back March 2022 and there has been NO CHANGE over the last 15 months! Pictures are taken at every appt so they are well aware that there was no change and that I was unhappy. Dr blamed ******** and exercising too much for lack of results. Although I am very active, part of the reason I opted for this procedure is because I have injuries that limit my ability to "exercise too much" and those over 40 hormones made weight loss difficult. The procedure was extremely painful, NO WAY I sat long enough to be "relaxed" enough to endure that much pain. The bedside manner of the doctor was horrible, he discussed starting his own clinic during my procedure, and when I asked questions he lowkey ignored me or gave short answers like I was bothering him. He did follow up after the procedure and when my massage therapist had concerns about seroma and improperly fitting faja (that they provided) he called me back but I never got clear understanding if what I was experiencing was "normal". I requested a call from the office manager, she never reached out. I still have pain over a year later-jumping jacks with no support garment? YIKES! If I brush up against any area that was worked on, YIKES! I wore my faja months after I was told it was no longer necessary because the pain of jiggling around was terrible and I needed the support. Multiple fajas purchased, months of lymphatic massages...literally thousands of dollars gone, and no expressions of care or concern shown. So, how do you resolve this level of dissatisfaction, discomfort and frustration? What does a resolution even look like, I would NEVER have additional/repeat procedures even if they were free. I will say this, the nurses and front desk staff were always very courteous and professional-that's what makes the 1 star rating acceptable.Sono Bello

Terrible, Horrible customer service. I have been waiting since 5/12/23 to get my medical records. I have placed about 10 -15 calls to try to obtain my records. I signed a docusign and sent it twice to two different people at the office. I have had 2 record release requests sent twice from my new drs office. I tried calling many times after I was told hey had to get the board approval to release my records to me. Everytime I called, the phone would just ring and then I called from my work number and they answered immediately. Obviously, they are trying to ignore my calls. I just spoke to another woman at the office that told me they had left me a VM and emailed me the records, however, I never received either. She told me she was very busy but would try to get the records to me today....TRY. This practice is very unprofessional and does not have respect for its past customers/patients. I will post an update on how soon after this, when I receive my medical records.Sono Bello
