    To Whom It May ******** I received a copy of my credit report with the intention of trying to improve my credit and take care of my responsibilities and noticed a few accounts that I wanted a little more explanation on. I am not saying they are reporting right or wrong. I am just saying that I am not 100 percent sure if they are. the Fair Credit Reporting Act where it said by law, I had rights to challenge anything I am not sure is accurate. This account is one due to the fact the amounts are invalid and wrong per accounting no one has yet to proovr I owe this debt !! Are you familiar with something called 15 U.S.C. Sec. 1681i(a) if you cant provide proof, these accounts must be deleted. Well I want these accounts deleted if they are not 100 percent right and correct. So, could you please check on these and get back with me? My lawyer said you have 30 days to complete this investigation. Please investigate the following accounts and remove them if anything is missing or not correct this today I dont want your contract rules I want these certified by law that I myself showed proof of signatures in person !     I have repeatedly requested validation of a debt from the collection agency as per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Despite numerous attempts over six months, the agency has failed to provide essential details regarding the debt, such as the original creditor's name and address, account numbers, payment dates, current balance, and a copy of the signed contract. This continuous refusal to comply with FDCPA requirements violates my rights as a consumer. I have notified the agency of their non-compliance and demanded validation within a specified timeframe. If validation is not provided within ten business days, I intend to pursue legal action for FDCPA violations.     • The reason why I believe the alleged debt is NOT valid is:  Regarding the alleged debt associated with the former apartment, I must emphasize that the unit became uninhabitable due to unresolved issues with mold. Throughout my occupancy, despite attempts to address these concerns with the management, the conditions remained unlivable, prompting neither eviction notices nor requests for rent payment.
      Moreover, the apartment complex underwent multiple ownership changes, changing hands three times. Thus, it seems that during the business transition, the company may have sold off its assets without a comprehensive review of outstanding matters, potentially including unresolved debts. This action could have been executed without due consideration or resolution of the issues at hand.
      These circumstances surrounding the living conditions and the successive sale of the complex contribute to the invalidity of any alleged debt associated with my tenancy.

    I have never rented from the company in which they are stating I rented from. I have contacted them several times making them aware of the identity theft I experienced during the time that the supposed person rented from them using my name. They have not provided me with the original application that I asked for for the apartment and I would like this removed from my credit report.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have received the letter detailing what is needed of me to provide and will submit everything as needed within 7 business days. I am in fact a victim of fraud and will proceed with the necessary documentation as needed. To add, within the application you are required to submit your social security number in order to run both a criminal and background check. Does that social line up with my social given to me at birth? Are you able to provide a copy of the application? If the socials do not match then it is in fact not my debt.

    on 11/13/23 i discovered IQ data on my credit report. I discovered thru research that they are collecting money due by my son whom i co-signed on an apartment in 2/2021. He moved out on 2/6/2021 and owed $3745. IQ data has never contacted me about the debt. I still have not recieved any written information from them explaining the amount they are trying to collect which is $4342, which is different from what was sent. Yesterday i was told by ************************* at IQ Data that $615 of that amount is interest. He also refused to make payment arrangements with me and my son. I asked if their was a way to pay online. he said no. They are refusing to negiotiate anything, they want payment in full. Which we dont have at this time. I s Went a letter requesting validation of debt which they need to sign for and they still have not picked it up. My son wants to set an arrangemnt of $500 a month until paid in full but cannot get them to cooperate. They have been rude and abbrasive on every phone call.

    I am not sure who this company is. They have placed this account on my credit from "******************". I have NEVER lived in a community called ****************** nor do I have any debt contract with this company to pay anything. I have never signed a contract with IQ Data International to pay a debt. I have asked for copies and proof of this debt and I was sent a lease agreement from ******************************************************************************************** anyone else. I also have asked for copies of a contract stating it was legal for them to buy any debt against me, which was not provided.     • The reason why I believe the alleged debt is NOT valid is: The townhouse community I lived in at the time was The Greens of Salem Run Townhomes. Because of the crime and not being a safe neighborhood to live in, I moved out 06/01/2020 due to management allowing tenants to break their lease without penalty. The company that owned Salem Run sold out and new management took over. I did NOT sign a contract with this debt collector nor did they have permission to buy this contract/debt. I disputed this account on my credit via Equifax. After disputing, they sent me a copy of the lease I signed on 06/01/2019 but did NOT send me a ledger or statement stating I had a remaining balance owed. There is no proof that I had a remaining balance after moving out. I never received a final bill after move out, I was never notified of a court date (if there were one) to collect a remaining balance, and nothing has been provided stating they were trying to make arrangements for payment IF there were a balance and there were no phone calls made to me regarding this matter. There has been no effort made on the company's behalf to contact me regarding any balance owed if there were one. My rights were violated when *********/****************** sold my information to a third party collection agency. They have reported a balance that can't be justified or explained. I was notified on 07/12/2023 that the account was deleted but is being reported to other credit bureaus as a closed/charged off account. I need this account removed immediately, It is hindering me from renting a new home. I am unsure of what the account number is for this account because they have never sent me any statements or request to make arrangements for this so-called balance due. The account number on my credit report has Xs in it.

    I just got your message in reference to ***************************** complaint #******** and have more information to include to be sent over that proves I should not have an account in collections and that ***************** and I.Q Data International reported false information to the credit bureaus and the 3 major credit bureaus also reported false information onto my credit report. 

    I have sent several disputes to IQ Data International about the false fraudulent collections that was reported onto my credit report from *****************. It is to my understanding that this collections account was sent to IQ Data in October 2022 however ***************** filed a tenant holdover eviction proceeding that didn't have court until ******** 2023 so no collections account should have been sent over nor reported onto my credit report. The court proceeding was that their would be no eviction as I moved out of ***************** months prior and yet I was told by ***************** apart of the collection is an eviction fee which is also false. And I was also told their was no monetary judgement owed to ***************** therefore their is nothing to collect so their should not be a collections account. It has been several months that I have disputed and IQ Data International has not removed this off my credit report causing me extreme hardships and difficulties with trying to move to a new place. I am forwarding the court judgement and requesting once again that IQ Data International remove the collections from my credit report at that this be done effective immediately.

    On 11/27/23, I contacted the company. When speaking to a representative, I made a simple request to remove comments from the account. The representative stated to me that in order for the comments to be removed, I needed to pay the account in full. This is a violation of FCRA! I am no longer disputing the account and have not disputed this account for a while. I am simply asking for the comments to be removed.

    My roommate and I rented from ******* and wake for two years. During that time, we paid everything on time and followed all the rules. Towards the end, we start to experience discrimination from management. When we left this complex, I gave my address as our forwarding address. We left this apartment complex in September. When discussing move out fees, it came out that the complex did not follow proper tenant law, and therefore forfeited their ability to collect additional fees. The manager also stated that it was an odor, but then sent pictures of a different apartment that had actual staining right after. This was all said through email. When it was pointed out that the manager said it was an odor, but sent a picture of staining, the manager realize they were making a lot of mistakes in a documented way and that they had broken tenant law, and said that the legal team would be in touch. However, legal team was never in touch. No emails were sent to follow up, no phone calls were made. This was pointed out again via email, with no response. I will attach the move out invoice sent to us showing $0 owed. It is now mid November. My roommate and I have been receiving calls from this company, who claim we owe around $500. We dont. IQ Data told my roommate they sent bills to the apartment we were at before we were at *************** despite my address being given as a forwarding address, which makes this very unlikely. They called us multiple times a day, wouldnt leave voicemails, and would make us speak first on the phone. They threatened us and said if we did not pay within two hours, it would hurt our credit. This was a lie. It is not on our credit. I checked all three bureaus. It was an attempt to fear ****** us into paying something we dont owe, and threatening us with lies is also a violation of the ****** We also dont owe this money.

They also refuse to use our correct address and only have an old address (which makes this even more suspicious) and I dont want to give any new information in case it is a scam (which it has to be, we dont owe money).     I spoke to my former roommate, and she said on November 15, 2023, she was receiving harassing phone calls from this collections agency saying that if she didnt pay what they allege we owe (and dont owe) within 2 hours, it would go on her credit and effect it poorly. We received no written notice, despite the ***** having our updated address - in specific my updated address. They alleged they were sending notices to another address that is not affiliated with us. They were aggressive with her and tried to coax personal information from her, like her SSN. Given that this is not only not true or substantiated, as well as a violation of our rights, I do expect this to be taken off our credit or I will seek legal action against this creditor for harassment and falsifying charges.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    See attached. I gave my updated address to Danubio ***** Del *******, the Ashers property manager, when I handed him our keys. He wrote it down in office. It was the correct address he had but not the one he used. I also let Danubio and upper management know I had not received any form of contact following up on this three separate times and requested a call or email due to this. I actually even said I would be pursuing legal action. Unfortunately, I was recently diagnosed with cancer, and havent been able to devote time, energy, and money to pursue it. I will attach this notice to Danubio and upper management of ******* & Wake. I was not contacted by email or phone to confirm contact methods or follow up, despite request. Given that they dont even have my correct name on file or in addressing me (Danubio also referred to me as ********, then when corrected, said that was what was on file, which is seen in the attachment) despite my numerous attempts while even in tenancy to correct it, I wouldnt consider their bookkeeping to be accurate or trustworthy. I think it is very interesting, but not surprising, that the ***** didnt disclose that to this collections company, and that they didnt address their many violations of tenant law or even the prior issue of the ***************** being discriminatory towards the tenant, indicating that this is retaliatory. This is especially evident considering the initial move out **** sent by the assistant property manager, *****, showed we didnt owe anything. Additionally, as you will see in the attachment, the alleged damage (as said by property manager Danubio) was originally claimed to be odor, but when we requested the proper documentation of said odor, it was changed to being a stain. The attachment goes into extensive detail on violations of tenant law. 

    I also have not spoken to IQs collection specialist, despite IQs claim they reviewed my communication with them. As stated previously, they spoke with my previous roommate, who they threatened, lied to, and harassed, which is a violation of the The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). I am, however, alarmed that they claim to have spoken to me, when they didnt - bringing up question in whether they actually did confirm identity prior to disclosing personal information, considering my previous roommate didnt say they were me and my personal information was given to said previous roommate, in an attempt to prove legitimacy.

    I had reached out to this company to get validation of the debt. The lady i spoke with on the phone said to me "If you don't pay it understand that we will get our money by any means necessary" I said "what does that mean?" She didn't answer my question and told me that now I wont be able to set up a payment plan and would have to pay it in full or nothing at all. i have never heard of a collection agency doing something like this. Yes I understand anyone who works for a collection agency is going to be a rude employee but to be threatened over the phone about a debt that doesn't have anything to do with that specific agent is crazy. All I wanted was proof that they owned the debt. All they sent me was a letter from them stating how much I owed this collection agency and my lease. Nothing more.

When I finally did call on 07/21/2023 the agent was rude and when I had requested the validation it was, whether you decide to pay it or not we will get our money by any means necessary. I said, what does that mean? She basically didnt respond to the question said that the verification would be sent and basically ended the call. The paperwork I did receive the paper on 8/30/2023 even though it was sent out accourding to the paperwork on 08/07/2023
