    I am writing to file a formal dispute against IQ Data International regarding their alleged violations of 15 USC ****e, a provision of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (*****). The ***** is in place to protect consumers from unfair, deceptive, and abusive debt collection practices.I have reason to believe that IQ Data International has engaged in actions that violate the *****, specifically under 15 USC ****e. These alleged violations include, failure to send validation. Documents included below.I have made attempts to address these concerns directly with IQ Data International to resolve the matter but have not received a satisfactory response. It is my firm belief that their actions are in violation of the law and are causing undue stress and harm to my financial well-being.I kindly request that the Better Business Bureau intervenes in this matter to ensure that IQ Data International conducts its debt collection activities in full compliance with the *****.     I am filing this complaint to dispute the debt account ******* on the amount of $52.2. We have called this debt company multiple times and mailed a dispute. This company disregarded any of our requests and placed a derogatory **** as a debt collection on our credit report. We have paid the creditor *************** in full half a year ago, and the front office has recognized that. The debt was coming from an IT issue that *************** was not able to fix. I would like this debt collection issue to be resolved and removed from both my wife and my credit reports.

    • I requested the verification of the debt from I Q Data International Inc on 09/05/2023 by Phone and on two other occasions (10/02/2023 and 10/18/2023). The customer support said he/she was going to investigate with the creditor *************** but we have no receive any additional information.
    • The reason why I believe the alleged debt is NOT valid is: The invoice from *************** showed duplicate amount on the same item. We have verified with the front office with *************** that we have paid in full, and they provided signature on that. However, *************** did not clear our balance and forward our balance to I Q Data International Inc. I Q Data International Inc said in their letter that if we called or wrote to them and they will need to provide additional information and stop collection. However, they claimed that they did not receive our mail and they did not respond to our request for debt dispute.

    15 U.S. Code ****e 10 - False or misleading representations IQ DATA INT Account Number: ************* A debt collector *** not use any false, deceptive, or misleading representation or means in connection with the collection of any debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section. Provide proof of this alleged item, specifically the original application, contract, note, or other instrument bearing my signature. Failing that, the items must be deleted from the report as soon as possible.According to 15 U.S. Code ****j, it is unlawful to design, compile, and furnish any form knowing that such form would create a false belief in a consumer that a person is a creditor of the consumer or represents a creditor of the consumer, among other prohibited actions.Given the above, I believe these entries on my credit report *** have resulted from deceptive practices or inaccuracies, and I request a thorough investigation into each of these items.     I received a call saying I owe $371 from an apartment complex I used to live in. I provided information proving I did not owe that amount however I have yet to hear back. Today the collection was added to my credit report. Despite my sending the proof I and my partner do not owe that money. I want it removed from my credit report ASAP. I have attached the screenshots of our final bill from the company which was $31 and a check we gave. Also attached is multiple emails from the company stating we owed nothing.

    I am rejecting this response because: Please verify the debt as required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I am disputing this debt because I do not owe it. Because I am disputing this debt, you should not report it to the credit reporting agencies.
