I lately acquired my credit report and found these accounts that I never opened, a number of unknown addresses that I never resided, inquiries I never made and even a variation to my name such as: *************************. I have provided below some of the details. I may be a victim of identity fraud because of these entries in my credit report. I have contacted these creditors to make them aware of this. I had paid off a collection in July 2020 for ridgegate through IQ Data. In June of 2023 and July 2023, IQ data has marked my credit report for the same issue as opened and then closed. There is no need for it to show up on my report after all these years when it was paid and closed back in 2020. I dont need them messing up my credit with nonexistent issues.Business Response

Disputing Early Termination Fee collection, reported Nov. 2021. IQ ********) claimed they are representing GK **************************************************** ************ GK) and not a collection agency. ***** states early termination fee, UP to 2 months rent, it doesn't state an exact dollar amount. Lease (pg. 9, #**) also states termination fee must be paid at time written notice is given. August of 2021, twice in email communications, I wrote asking building managment what the termination fee was so I could pay. The manager indicated in writing that only a prorated fee for last months rent will be due. ******** the manager confirmed no termination fee, only prorated rent to settle the lease. After confirmation of the early termination, I paid the requested amount in the online tenant portal, no additional fees list as discussed.Fall 2022, I realized IQ had reported alleged debt to credit bureaus. IQ did not contact me or give notice before reporting derogatory information to credit agencies. I called IQ the agent was verbally agressive and confrontational, unwilling to provide information. Jan 2023, sent IQ a debt validation letter. IQ responded offering two discounted rates but gave no option to dispute. I submitted the attached counter offer, giving notice that the debt is disputed, the collection amount is wrong, and while I don't claim responsibility for the debt am willing to resolve the matter. I offered to pay the discounted rate IQ proposed, if the derogatory information from my credit reports was removed. No response from IQ. This alleged debt is damaging my credit monthly. Defamation of character, as I attempted/willing to pay a fee at time of termination, told no fee, and offered a paid resolution. This debt is negatively impacting daily my life. I want IQ to immediately advise all credit reporting agencies debt is disputed & stop reporting false information. I'm willing to do a pay-for-delete, terms/conditions listed in attached letterBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:IQ Data is a 3rd party and was not present at the time of the actual events, or included in the original email and phone conversations, it's unclear to me how they can accurately verify or represent information, 2 years later.
IQ is overlooking or ignoring key information, 30-day termination was a Special arrangement made between me and the apartment management at the time, The emails I provided in my response, (page 7) between me and **** property manager *************************. on Aug. 28th stated I can vacate at any time due-- these arrangements and the whole reason for the early termination was due to harassment/vandalism/attempted robbery, I experienced on the property by other tenants.
Also, see the email communication (pg. 6) on Aug 28th, **************** states, "We will only charge you for the days you are still residing at the property until you turn in keys" That was her response to me asking about termination fees.
The termination notice of 30 days was accepted at the time instead of the 60 days.The termination fee should have been assessed before (per page 9 of the lease agreement) the last month's rent was paid. The termination fee was not requested in the tenant payment portal prior to or included in the the last month's rent.
Again, I disagree and continue to dispute the debt amount. IQ needs to relay this information to the collection agencies.
I do not claim any responsibility/liability for claimed debt but am willing to settle by the terms outlined in my response. The termination process was improperly handled and I can only agree to Partial pay-for-delete. This is my final offer.

I noticed a collection on my credit remove,from a complex that was over three years ago.I contacted the collection agency and discussed a settlement amount,he offered me to settle for $3737.70, I agreed to settle for that amount, he asked me for a debit card to secure that amount,He told me the card would not be charged at all,it was strictly needed to make sure I get that offer,to make sure nobody else could take the offer back from me. I gave him the card number, but then I called him back to ask him for a lesser amount which he stated that the apt complex said no! I then told him I no longer would accept that settlement amount,about a week later I received a letter in the mail stating that my debit card would be charged for the $3737.70,which I did not give *************** the ok to do that. The payment was not able to be deducted because I contacted the bank and also I didn't have that amount in the bank, remember he assured me that card wouldn't be charged! I then called him and asked him why would he attempt to take that amount out my account,I told him I can't afford that amount,and that I would just have to let that collection sit. I did not have anymore contact with him, on June 22,2023 I received a message saying that there was a new collection put on my credit report,when I looked at my report it stated between June Jun17,2023 and June 22,2023 there had been change to my credit profile,which was the collection being removed,I later got another message saying between June17,2023 and June22,2023 a new collection had been added,which is the same collection.*************** added the collection as new,making it look like a new collection to anyone that takes a look at my credit report.
