  I CALLED TO SETTLE A DEBT AND I NEVER IN MY LIFE WAS SPOKEN TO IN SUCH A DISRESPECTFUL WAY. I WAS ASKED WHY I CANT BORROW THE MONEY FROM SOME ONE. THEY EVEN ASKED ME TO TAKE THE MONEY FROM MY 401K. ALSO SAID THAT I HAVE BEEN ON MY JOB FOR A LONG TIME AND I SHOULD HAVE IT. I LEFT OFF THE ***** IN TEARS FROM HOW THIS COMPANY PUT ME DOWN. I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO SEE THIS COMPANY OUT OF BUISNESS. WHEN I WAS GETTING OFF THE ***** I WAS THREATEN.

  IQ Data International are unprofessional and very rude on the phone. They made threats to come after my assets for $600. They were being disrespectful and making threats over the phone. I will not pay a dime until they learn respect and manners.

  This business and the employees are very rude. I was yelled at for explaining my situation. My identity and identifiable information was stolen. I later found out that someone went and got a lease in my name. I contacted the company and was yelled at and accused of it being me when it wasnt. This business should be shut down for its lack of compassion and respect towards consumers.

  They are very rude and lack understanding and compassion. I had a payment plan set up last year that i had to stop paying on cold ****** due to personal reasons. I called back to inquire about my exact balance and to start another payment plan - because I had defaulted on a payment plan I now owe the balance in full. I dont have family/ friends to ask for help and I am a single mother simply seeing what needs to be done in order to provide a place to live for my children and I. They marked my account as a refusal because I dont have the funds available at the current moment. Im not rich and need to plan my finances which is why I called to find out my balance and inquire about paying it off. They dont care to hear you out or understand REAL LIFE by any means. Wheres the humanity in this company?????

  This complaint is to inform the BBB that ******** continues to report unverified and an accurate information on my credit report. The account was placed with their office in July of 2019 to collect move out charges on behalf of ******* Apartment complex in ****** **. The problem with that is, I have never lived or signed a lease agreement with the landlord. Upon my relentless request for a copy of the lease agreement, the company mailed me a 47 page document. Not on of those documents bared my hand written signature. Just electronic signature. Not even a signature showing proof that I reviewed the keys to a unit on the compound. I have mailed proof of my former address including IRS documents showing that I did not live at the address in question. I lived in a whole different state at the time. 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 - Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies. A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.This misinformation has hindered my home buying process.

  I moved out of my apartment in Nov of 2021 & gave notice in writing to move out by 11/7/21. In the notice I requested a copy of the move out charges be mailed to me and included my new address. I never received it. In Dec of 2021 the past due rent amount was submitted to a collection agency called IQ Data. I reached out the **************** & was instantly met with a contentious and extremely aggressive agent named ******** who claimed she was the *************** was no one above her who could assist me. From the start she was unwilling to listen to any of my concerns as the amount being requested was incorrect. I provided proof of written emails with regards to the monetary amount. They were unwilling to accept anything. I dealt with the rude comments & unprofessional behavior that she exhibited as I was fixing my credit to purchase a home. Nonetheless, I tried to work with her by hiring an attorney from a debt resolution ************** were met with the same difficulty. I explained my intentions to pay what I owe but had not received a breakdown of what I was being charged for. I explained that I was told I wouldnt be charged for certain things & need to verify I wasnt paying for something I dont owe. It was the full amount or nothing. The collection account was already being reported on my credit report. On June 17, 2023, IQ Data decided to add the exact same collection account to all three bureaus as a new collection account. I filled a dispute with bureaus and the debt was validated as correct. This is NOT correct information. I am in a position that there is nothing that I can do. She has completely destroyed everything that I have worked hard to fix with one key stroke of the key board and now I am unable to purchase a home because of her tactics and illegal reporting. I have been open about my intentions to resolve & due to unethical & illegal practices of IQ data I have now suffered undue stress & financial impacts.

  Very disgusting customer care help. I got on the phone to express my grievances and customer care team members *********************** LIKE THE VACCUM and ***** were very disgusting. I couldnt wait to go on the BBB site and discuss the business this company exudes to its customers. They made it 100% easier for me to pursue the legal action I was going forward to pursue anyway.

  This is a very shady company. They wanted me to pay the debt upfront and then they said they would investigate. This is illegal and in violation of the fair credit reporting act. I have filed complaints against them with the attorney generals of two states, the BBB and CFPB. They refuse to provide any evidence of the debt they claim i owe.

  Im having a hard time with this company. They are very rude and unprofessional. I didnt know I had a collections with them from a previous apartment complex. I pulled my credit and saw I was in collections. I notified them and they told me I had no choice but to pay in full. The apartment balance was $2000 but IQ Data said I owe $4000 because of interest. **** called back a few weeks later to see if I can settle. The lady was rude but I paid $500. She then sent me to a man who asked for my debit card number. I told him that I wasnt comfortable giving my information and he connected me to the lady again and she started yelling at me. Within 3 weeks, they added $100 on my collection and sent a letter in the mail saying I have to pay the entire balance by a May 26, 2023 or its nulled and void. I never agreed for them to take $3600 out of my accountI dont have $3600 in my account. They never offered me a payment plan. How can I pay a debt off when they keep adding to my balance?
