1 starI am currently dealing with this company at this time it has been terrible. I have been harassed and ridiculed by this company. I have been threatened and told I need to ask friends and family to get the money to pay them. I have been trying to speak to them with respect and ***** and at this moment it has not been working. I asked to speak with a supervisor and that was an even worse experience. I have been trying to make a plan with these people and they have explained to me the only way I can pay this off is though getting a loan or taking money out of my pension to pay it in full. 1 starThis is probably the worst business I have ever dealt with! First off we were taken to collection even after we had paid the remaining balance of our security deposit that was due . I talked to ************************* who didn't want to listen to anything I had to say and didn't believe me when I told her the balance was paid off 2 weeks prior. She said "so you don't care about your daughters credit" and if you hang up it will ruin her credit. I was thinking maybe she's having a terrible day so I asked to speak to her supervisor. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE!!! ******************************* her supervisor was even worse than she was and didn't want to listen to anything I had to say. I'm sure they will twist it around in their favor. I can only hope that these conversations have been recorded and will be reviewed by the powers that be and they discipline these employees for the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.. He told me to "Pipe Down or he would end the conversation, so I stopped talking and then when he stopped yelling at me ( I was speechless) so he said " well I guess your not saying anything " and then he proceeded to hang up on me. I understand they are in the collection business and 95% of the people say they paid their amounts due, when they haven't, (which was not the case here) but that certainly does Not give them the right to insult and threaten people. I called the ********** Apts. and the office manager ***** was very nice and said they would send ANOTHER email that states the account/balance was paid in full. I was so upset at the way these 2 people talked down to me as if they were better and superior than everyone and I'm sure they have been getting away with it for a long time. My only hope is someone does a review of their department and or an internal investigation to see just how they operate and how they treat other human beings. IT IS NOT RIGHT and I hope someone has the backbone to step up and put a stop to their demeaning ways of conducting business.Review fromGiselle O

1 starSomebody has got to stop these people. I wonder if there's anyone out there looking out for the consumers. These people are messing up people's credit anyway they want to and they're not even doing their job properly. Yes they are rude and they call you when you're at work and don't give the proper information then they quickly put things on your credit. These people call me about a month after I moved out of an apartment. I only owe whatever water bill i had to pay after I moved. I didn't owe them any rent. The woman that called me didn't even know how to speak. She called me during work talking about, I don't know what. I didn't owe them the amount that she was quoted. I told her I will call the leasing office to adjust the amount. The amount has been adjusted and it is only $188. I told young woman that I was speaking with to send me a link where I could pay when I get off of work, as well as all the information that I need to be able to pay; like an account number. I asked her to send it to me by email. She said okay but , to this day I haven't received that email and that was some time in January 1024. I moved from that old apartment complex in December, Now we're in March and I have not received any email with any link to pay. She wants me to give her my credit card information while I'm at work, on the phone and i refuse to give her my c/c info. That's why I asked for a direct link where I can click and enter the info my self. Nope, she didn't send it But I'm in collections for $188. Not only am I in collection but my daughter also is for the same $188. All she had to do was send a the link so that we could pay on an own get a receipt as proof. It would have been paid by now. All that's left for me do now is wait till she harass me again at work because she didn't send me a link. That just doesn't make any sense. But I think that is the trick so that they can start adding more to our account. I hope somebody reads this and helps.Review fromBryanna C

1 starHad a very disrespectful senior rep. **** ***************. He constantly argued with me, lied about what was on the piece of mail they sent me, screamed at me, and denied me a supervisor. Regardless of me screaming and getting agitated at him as a senior rep you shouldnt do that. He wouldnt give me an option for a payment plan because as he say Ill never pay off my debt. This place is disgusting & highly unprofessional. Sat on the phone & argued for 21 minutes to resolve nothing. 1 starThey are really horrible and very rude. They charge ridiculous interest on accounts and refuse to tell you how they came up with the number or provide you with anything that even states they have the right to collect interest. This company should be sued and shut completely down. They DO NOT abide by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) or other state and federal laws. Consumers need help from these monsters. 1 starIQ Data placed a $35,000.00 collection item on my credit report., I signed a lease with my ex in 2015 and it expired 2016 then month to month tenancy. I was taken off the lease in 2019 and all renewals were signed by the ex and any documents after 2019 did not included my name. They were advised that I did not owe the debt, my ex owed the monies. He lived in an apartment for 2 years without paying the rent and was evicted. *****************?? said, IQ Data was going to enforce the contract language in the expired lease 2015/2016. In ********** an expired lease is an expired lease unenforceable. Again, my name was not included on any eviction/unlawful detainer, or sheriff notice. My credit scored dropped 59 points. 1 starI called I.Q Data International to settle a debt because we are trying to move to a new location! The man that answered the phone was immediately monotone which is fine i figured I'd be able to get somewhere by being friendly and getting an agreement made! He immediately told me in his exact words "Well you'd have to pay the 850 in full for us to pay to delete'" I said okay well unfortunately we don't have that amount since we are currently trying to move! The reason we couldn't pay before was due to moving. He then said I had an obligation to pay because I hadn't paid my bills before and I won't be able to move if I gave them the amount now. He said I wouldn't be able to move unless I paid them the amount in full! I said I received a a settlement offer in my email and it was listed on the website when I made an account! He said in a very rude way "Well was there an amount" I said yes there was and he asked me how much was the offer I told him 50% he said well I have to approve you for it it says up to which it did not state such a thing because when I log in it says I can make a payment for the 50% settlement offer. He then says well I have to see if you qualify so I gave him basic info no real numbers and he says he can only offer 30%. So I say well the website gives me 50% of right now to pay so I'm confused! I asked why was he being so rude and hostile he then told me I was argumentative, I said all I was trying to do was pay this and you're being rude to me. He then started raising his voice saying well I'm trying to talk and if you want to believe what's on the website then that's up to you but I know what you need to pay he continued yelling but at that point, I tuned him out and hung up! So I went on the website to set up a payment date and it wouldn't work it took a dollar from me 5 times but nothing would go through so I refreshed the page and low and behold he had taken the settlement completely away and all I did was go based off what I was offered!Review fromJackie C

1 starWould give them 0 stars if I could. We had a collection for an apartment lease a few years ago, when they initially opened the collection account they would harass us on our phone and work place which they legally can't do. They are trained to be rude and a**holes to you! They ***d us last year and later on dismissed the case (they *** as a scare tactic) but refuse to remove the collection from our credit reports. I tried contacting them to negotiate something with them to remove it from our credit, they were very unprofessional about it, asked me who was in the background because someone was "coaching me"?? I don't need someone to coach me, I'm very well aware of their tactics. Keep in mind their debt is past the statute of limitations in my state so that debt is not valid. I will just be waiting for it to fall off our credit, they don't deserve a ***** from us. They also hung up on me, extremely unprofessional!! They will NOT work with you!Review fromMel R

1 starThis agency is a complete joke. One of their employees named *****, called me to notify me that I have a collection debt from a property I was leasing. This was due to a clerical error and Ive reached out to the property management, they notified me that I have no debt and they will be fixing the issue with the collection agency. When trying to explain this to *****, he consistently kept interrupting me, raising his voice, insulting me by telling me it doesnt matter what you believe, you have to pay this debt in full. You dont seem to understand how this works. He consistently kept putting me on hold even though he was the only person speaking. Additionally, he threatened with negative **** on my credit report. Extremely unprofessional, aggressive employee who should not be allowed to deal with ANY customer.
