I'm depressed and suicidal after dealing with the unauthorized use of my personal information. Which resulted in this unauthorized item on my credit report. I sent letters over 30 days ago and they failed to get back with me with sufficient validation. To Whom It May ************************** reply is in response to ********* follow-up complaint which we received from your office. We have reviewed the complaint and the related matter. As a result of our investigation, we are replying with the following information:
On 07/01/2022, Sprint placed this account in our office to collect a balance on their behalf. On 07/20/2022, we sent ************ a validation notice. This notice included his right to dispute the balance owed.
On 11/09/2022, we received a credit bureau dispute notification. On 11/10/2022, we mailed ************ information on how he may file a fraud claim. To date, we have not received the completed fraud packet returned to our office.
In response to this complaint, this account will remain in a disputed status and we have suspended collection in our office. We will obtain documents from Sprint, validating the balance that they state is owed. Once we have obtained this information, we will mail the documents to ************. If ************ believes the account to be fraud, please advice ************ to follow the steps provided to him, so that an investigation may be conducted. We will request that our information for this account be removed from the credit bureaus.

I've disputed this collection that's being reported on my consumer report and have not received a response with verifiable proof that this debt is mine. It has been more than 30 days since I have disputed this collection. I was told if I am not shown verifiable proof that the alleged debt is mine then it must be removed from my consumer reports. On 9/3/22 I checked my Credit Report like I do at least once a week because I have been a victim of Identity Fraud for over a year now. There is a statement on my 3 Credit Reports saying this same statement and to call my telephone number is there are any attempts to open accounts anywhere. I also have a "Freeze" put on my credit report.An account was opened 5/29/22 by ********************** They inquired on my credit report on 5/20/22 and let someone open this fraudulent account. The amount charged was $230.00. Since it was not paid, ********************* turned the account over to Convergent Outsourcing for Collection efforts. I immediately filed a complaint with Experian. Convergent Sourcing removed the account from my Credit Report on 9/6/22. But then the telephone calls started. 9/8 in the AM hours and 9/12/22 in the ** Hours. Both times I tried to explain to them that I do not have or ever had an address in Washington, *****, ******** and the other states EXCEPT ************* where I live and have lived for over 50 years. And I did not give anyone my permission, name, address or SS# to open any account. Someone has my SS# because the *** Contacted me in the spring informing me someone had filed a Form **** for a tax refund. I had to do a video call and fax all my documentation to prove to them who the REAL ***************** really is. Please help me get thru to this company, Convergent Outsourcing, they are contacting the incorrect person and to stop calling me for collection of this account.
