I am filing a complaint because this random company is trying to collect money from me and is reporting this debt to the credit bureaus. I never gave them permission which is a violation and defamation of character. A legal contract is when both parties participate and I did not participate in any contract with this company. I am demanding they remove this account or I will take this into further matters and be compensated ***** for each violation and I know it is a lot. Convergent Outsourcing, **** sent a letter (dated May 19, 2023) that I didn't receive until June 17, 2023. Letter said I had until June 28, 2023. I sent a debt validation letter June 17, 2023 stating that they had within 30 days of receipt to provide the information requested and that they were not to report the debt to any credit reporting agency while it was being disputed. They posted the date to my credit reports on July 31, 2023. By that date, I still had not received documents validating the debt from Convergent Outsourcing, **** On August 17th, I received a letter in my PO Box from Convergent. I have requested it be opened and scanned by my mail service. I have filed an identity theft report with the **** and disputed the claim on all three credit agencies.Business Response
