JND Legal Administration is in charge of the Settlement for the Mercedes Mar Red Paint. They are not paying out on their claims. Please look at all the ****** Reviews on this company. I have been in contact with them since April. I have given them everything possible to get reimbursed for my expenses. If they do respond it is a generic email or a person calling with no information just saying they have my claim and someone will contact me and no one does. I truly believe, 100% that they are a scam company. Please look into how much money if anything they have disbursed with the Mars Red Paint Settlement. They do things just enough for it to see like they are not involved in deceptive practice.Business Response

My name is ***** *******, I am so sorry I missed the 7 day response period. I would like to continue with the complaint again JND Holdings, LLC. JND Holdings mentioned that the parties have not issued a determination yet in their response.
I would like someone with KNOWLEDGE of my claims to contact me from JND Holdings so we can discuss where everything is in the process and what is the timeline for a determination. I submitted my response to the denied claims on Wednesday, August 7th. It has now been over 3 MONTHS. As you can see from their response this company is very evasive with all of their information and it is very general. In the past if I do get a response from them a person would only say "the claims are being processed". I truly do not believe that this company will EVER pay out on their claims.
A question for the BBB. Is there a specific period of time that they need to pay the claims by? Meaning could they keep saying that they have not issued a determination for years? Or is there is a timeline cutoff?
Thank you so much for your help. There have been so many claims against this company at the BBB. I wonder what the next step to do about this company would be?
Thank you for your time,
***** *******Business Response

My response which you can publish on your site:
JND Holdings did contact me. They provided some information about the status of my claims BUT when asked when payment would be sent (an approximate time frame 1 month, 3 months, 5 years) they had no information. They said they would call me back but did not and it has been several weeks since that phone call. I would like to keep this case open until I receive the check. I truly don't believe that this company will EVER pay out on any of their claims. They do just enough as to not be investigated.
The ONLY reason that I received a response from them is because of this complaint.
Thanks so much for your time,

I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because: It has been almost a year and a half since I submitted my claim, and I am have spent considerable time away from my family and money pursuing this matter. All I have encountered are disrespectful representatives who dismiss my claims and hang up on me. One representative called but provided no answers; it was as if he was reading from a script. He claimed to have sent an email, but I have searched all my email accounts and have not received it.
The average American has about three to four email accounts. I simply asked for proof that the email was sent, (forward me the email) but the representative repeatedly said, "There is no proof to send," which does not support his argument. When I pointed out the flaw in his logic, he became disrespectful, irritable, and angry, attempting to chance the narrative as if i was personally attacking him and his company. Very unprofessional. And then hung up on me just like the others. This behavior is extremely disdainful, especially when my concerns are being disregarded. I am still waiting for the alleged email they claim to have sent.
The fully completed claim, along with evidence that the representative lied about my failure to complete it, includes identity verification and a police report highlighting the incident. Additionally, a screenshot of the Equifax data breach website, where one can enter their last name and the last six digits of their Social Security number, serves as further solid proof of the legitimacy of my claim. This evidence is complemented by a signed receipt from the United ********************* upon delivery. Despite their claims that I did not fill out the necessary information, I have numerous documents to prove my costs and time. However, I am unable to upload all of these documents on this platform.

**************** filed two Extended Claims Period claims related to the 2017 Equifax Data Breach. The "Time Spent" portion of ******************** first Extended Claims Period claim was approved for the maximum 20 hours allowable under the Settlement. The "Money Spent" portion of her first Extended Claims Period claim was denied. **************** is not entitled to any additional "Time Spent" because she was already approved the maximum 20 hours of "Time Spent" in connection with her first Extended Claims Period claim and therefore, the "Time Spent" portion of ******************** second Extended Claims Period claim was denied, The "Money Spent" portion of her second Extended Claims Period claim was denied. **************** was sent Denial Notices for the denied portions of her claim. Per the Settlement Agreement, claimants have 30 days to appeal a Denial Notice. **************** appealed the Denial Notice (relating to her first Extended Claims Period claim),which is under review. **************** has 30 days to appeal the second Denial Notice (relating to her second Extended Claims Period Claim) if she wishes to do so, as indicated in the Denial Notice. I am rejecting this response because: this is not making any sense because you are saying time spent was paid and not the extended claim period time im very confused I had to pay for identity theft protection , everything dealing with my identity being compromised and youll want to deny that ? When I spoke to someone dont know her name I was told you all dont pay for identity theft protection okay when someone have they identity stolen #1 you dont know who they are ! #2 you have to pay for everything dealing with repairing your identity so Im very confused on how this equifax settlement is getting paid I have wrote the judge who was over the settlement so I can get more clarification because something is not making any sense !
Sincerely,

JND may only pay claims that meet the requirements set forth in the relevant Settlement Agreements and Court orders. **************** filed two Extended Claims Period claims which each included a claim for "Time Spent" and for "Money Spent".
The "Time Spent" portion of ******************** first Extended Claims Period claim was approved for the maximum 20 hours allowable under the Settlement. The "Time Spent" portion of ******************** second Extended Claims Period claim was denied because **************** was already approved for the maximum 20 hours of "Time Spent" in connection with her first Extended Claims Period claim. Any eligible amounts (including her "Time Spent" portion which has already been approved) will be paid after appeal period.
Neither of Ms. ******* "Money Spent" claims met the necessary criteria for payment. Therefore, her "Money Spent" claims were denied and she was sent a Denial Notice for each of her Extended Claims with explanations. Per the Settlement Agreement, claimants have 30 days to appeal a Denial Notice. **************** appealed the first Extended Claim Denial Notice, which is under review. **************** has until June 24, 2024, to appeal the second Extended Claim Denial Notice if she wishes to do so, as detailed in the Denial Notice.
