      Unethical Refund Practices Amazon has withheld my refund thru unethical practices for over nine days. Their web-sight states "your return is complete. Your refund has been issued." When "When will I get my refund?" selected, "A refund will appear on your bank account or credit card statement within 7 days."After the refund did not appear on my statement within the seven days, I contacted customer service. I spoke with *****, she said credit was processed in the form of a gift card and because I want a refund credited to my credit card, it will take another 3-4 days. What? I did not pay with a gift card. I find it egregious that Amazon would try to convert a refund to their gift card without approval. I expected the refund like original form of payment. I want my refund credited to my account ASAP. Amazon instantly had access to my credit card when I placed the order and I expect under these circumstances the same timeliness with this refund.

      I have been a prime member for years and shipping and customer service has become far too unreliable. Packages are lost... customer service is rude and wants you to do the work....

      I ordered an easy bake oven for my granddaughter for Christmas. It was to be delivered between December *****. unbeknownst by me the shipper was from *****. The ******* did not arrive I called Amazon on the 23rd was told by Amazon rep ******* would be delivered that day. No delivery lie number 1. I called on the 24th again told by amazon rep **** would be delivered that day. lie number 2 no delivery today the 26th email refund coming. They say to contact seller you can not contact seller in ***** they should be upfront if your order is international I can not believe a company the size of Amazon cn get away with blatant lies to their no former customers

      Amazon needs to get its act together. Their employees all say different things when there is a problem with an order or delivery. I can make no sense of them. Not even their managers seem to know what they are talking about. I ordered some things for Christmas from Amazon that were never delivered. The Amazon driver said he couldn't access the front door to my house which was a lie because I tracked him all the way and he never came to my house. So I called Amazon and the driver said he would come back later that day to deliver the packages but he never did. So I called Amazon again and talked to a manager. The manager said my packages couldn't be delivered that day but I could have my packages delivered any other day I wanted, so I scheduled it to be delivered two days later. My packages still never arrived. Some of Amazon employees said that their driver delivered my packages to the wrong address, and some of them said the packages couldn't be delivered because it was too many days late. Amazon refunded me, but I had an Amazon gift card, and the refund could only go toward another Amazon purchase. So I ordered something else from Amazon, and my package was lost again! I will never order anything from Amazon again!

      They change the delivery dates after you make a purchase then tell you that the item cannot be canceled or returned. If you need it by the delivery date they give you, good luck

      I placed an order as a gift and sent to a relative out of state prior to placing the order it specifically said a signature was required on delivery and this is the only reason I felt comfortable sending the package out of state, the package said delivered and the intended person never received it after contacting Amazon I spoke with 6 different people who kept transferring and then they eventually hung up on me, I was told I needed to file a police report however I asked them if the intended party signed for the package and the answer was no and I still got hung up on because the package wasnt received and they had no confirmation signature but wants me to file a police report in another state that is absolutely ridiculous if it says signature required and no one signed why do I have to be further inconvenienced due to their negligence? Some drivers are irresponsible and even known to scan packages and keep them so Ive now been inconvenienced with paying for something I didnt receive and being given a deadline to file a report in another state this is absolutely terrible business and if it says signature required thats what I expect and to have to file a report in a different state is absolutely ridiculous seeing as how this is their mistake

      THEE WORST company to do business with!!! Theyre nothing but a bunch of liars and thieves! I made a purchase on December 17. Delivery date of December 23. Perfect, itll be here on time for Christmas. On December 21, I log in to check the status of delivery, making sure itll still be here on time, however I see a message stating to update my form of payment. Since Amazon failed to settle payment immediately, the money was accidentally used. I settle payment AGAIN, however now I have a delivery date of December 30! Like WTF?! Now, my sons gifts are going to be late!!! **** just ruined my and my sons whole Christmas! Hope youre happy! **** settles payment immediately. PayPal settles immediately. Even ************************* immediately and theyre in a another country!!! But amazon? No they dont, they wait 4 days to settle! Also, someone ordered an item for me because they have prime, however it will take a week to receive the item instead of 2 days! What a bunch of crock! 2-day shipping my behind!PS: You need to do better as a company! Im speaking mostly for others, because my relationship with you is done! A shame for you, because Im in the middle of creating a business and WAS going to use Amazon but decided that youre a bunch of liars and thieves and will not associate myself with incompetency!

      I bought 3 amazon gift cards along with a $1500 order containing other digital gift cards for Christmas. My account was flagged 3 times while making my purchase. One of these times I was told they made a note and it would not happen again. Well it did a couple of days later. I went to check my status and all my orders were gone. I called, ****** support stated they could not do anything and would escalate it. A week later my orders were still not there called back in. Was hung up on 2 times, the third guy i spoke to said he would get it taken care of by the 22ed. It is now the 22ed and no orders have shown up. I asked to speak to a manager. He was kind but said no one did it right and sent me the link to fix it. He sent me the link to fix the account but My children will not have there presents because the lack of support. This is unacceptable and I will no longer be using there services as I have purchased items I did not receive. That is called theft.

      I ordered Christmas gifts from Amazon with promised delivery in 3-5 days.. the order included 5 pieces. They pulled the money from my account, then started asking me to revise my payment. The bank confirmed that the money had been pulled by Amazon. Then they notified me that my gifts would not be shipped until AFTER Christmas. I called them and spoke to ****, a supervisor, who said they didnt have the money. The money undoubtedly was stolen by an employee there. Now I have had to cancel my order, with no promise of how long it would be before I receive my refund. I am a widow. I am not rich by any stretch of the imagination. Now these kids will not get a present because of Amazon.

      Amazon is selling ************* white ****** ***** drinking mugs that arrive with a PROP 65 warning (not mentioned in Amazon's advertising) that ********** requires them to notify buyer that drinking from them exposes the buyer to a risk of ingesting lead. If that is the case Amazon shouldn't be selling the mugs!!!
