      I've been an Amazon Prime member for several years. In the past year or so, every time I've had to do a return, I've requested that the refund be credited to the original form of payment, my credit card. Amazon provides an option to do this when completing the return process. However, every single time, Amazon has decided to ignore that and issue a Amazon gift card credit to the account instead. I think this is a deceptive practice and they should clearly state on their website that they do not offer returns to credit cards. I have had to call or chat Amazon after every return and after being on hold or waiting for chat operator, I get the return refunded back to the credit card. I'm wondering how many consumers do not realize this is happening. I won't be renewing my Prime membership this year.

      Amazon customer service *****. If I could give it a negative 100 stars I would. Avoid doing business with this company. I have worked in the customer service world wide for 16 plus years and if I treated any customer the way I have been treated multiple times I would of been fired. So do yourself a favor try to find another company to buy your products from.

      I had ordered an item off of Amazon and the delivery person put the package in front of my door at night and someone had stole the package. When I called to let the know that I did not receive my package, they refused to refund my money not did they give me an option to have a replacement of the item to be sent out to me. Luckily, it wasnt an expensive item but a lost of my hard earned money that is lost! I suggest to anyone who becomes a Amazon member to consider this as an example and go directly to the companies to order. I canceled my membership!

      I purchased a Futon Sofa Bed from Amazon. I have been trying to get it picked up and a refund. The seller sent me an address to ship it back, I took it to *** with the help from a friend ( large pkg) it would cost ****** to ship back. That is more then what I paid for it. I then called Amazon to issue a call tag to pick up all they do is send E Mail to the seller and all they do is send me an address. They did offer me ***** but that is no where near what I spent also shipping is still on me. This has been now a month and nothing is resolved.The seller is ******** and Amazon has done nothing to resolve this Any help is appreciated I

      They do not send my packages in a timely manner. I am fully aware that there is an "expected" arrival date on orders. But the last few times I've ordered my packages NEVER come on time. I pay Amazon Prime cost to get my orders within the two day time period. They are not making sure that happens. When I try to speak with a rep and voice my concern its almost impossible to speak to a human. To add insult to injury I have complained on multiple occasions about this matter. I even asked why I see amazon fulfillment trucks around but never for my late orders. I know people who get their orders in a days time. NO resolve is always how the phone call ends. There's no customer satisfaction offered and my orders are always profusely late. I am so upset since my last order was for a baby shower that I have to now go to empty handed. ***** does not begin to describe my feeling toward this company and I will definitely withdraw my membership and refuse to order anything else from them again at this point

      Needed items to repair my computer so that I could work. ******* said delivered but it never was. Their system tells you you have to wait 48 hours before making a claim. Their chat system sent me to a robot that verified my package was missing and offered to replace it in exchange for a free return of the missing item.....Called customer service to speak with a person. They offered to replace the missing items for free. I was supposed to receive the items on a Thursday. Their system said to wait 48 hours before I could make a claim. Its now Saturday. The replacement items won't b e here until Thursday.That's a week late. The parts I ordered are for my computer. I work from home. The parts are to replace a broken power switch. This means that due to their requirement of waiting 48 hours and then their refusal to overnight the items I will now have missed 5 days of work.Their offer to fix that? a $15 credit. Fifteen Dollars is a joke. I make more than that in 1 hour. I am now out about $700 assuming I do get the items on Thursday and I install them ASAP and don't find another possible problem.

      Do not use company. Sockcenters will send you an item other than you order and then say they will only partially refund your money if you return the item. The item is worth less than the shipping required to return. They have multiple sales pages on ******** and are a complete scam.

      Amazon driver ran over my dog in my driveway in front of my veteran wife, 2 year old daughter and 4 year old son. The driver didn't stop or slow down. My wife carried my dead dog back with blood running out of his head and nobody cared.

      I purchased a truck bed cover but had to return it due to it not being compatible. What I didnt know was that I had to pay for the return shipping fee which was half of the cost of the bed cover I got. This was not disclosed by the seller anywhere on the Amazon website. I called Amazon when I tried to return and advised them that I have to pay for return shipping fee and they advised me they can reimburse the return shipping fee on august 8. I got an email confirmation from the rep I was speak with and she stated I should receive the money back in **** business days. Now more than 2 months later I am still waiting for the refund. Every time I call Amazon they say its escalated to their accounting department for refund but nothing is being refunded. I spoke to 7/8 people saying the same thing every time with no resolution. I am beyond frustrated and disappoint in the service I am receiving. Each rep says it only takes them **** business days to refund but somehow mine is taking over two months. I dont know what else to do at this point. I spent over $400 in return shipping fee. Its not a small amount of money for people to spend in this economy. Shame on Amazon for lying!

      Amazon shipped me an item (steelseries artics headset 3 instead of the series 7) which was not the item I ordered. I returned the item immediately through the app which is the only method i have used so far with Amazon purchases. Now amazon claims that I returned the wrong item and will not refund me the amount I paid for the same. I only returned the item that was sent to me in the first place and I have no way to prove to them that their QA process failed this time. They sent me an email saying I sent the wrong item and refuse to talk to me or hear me out. the only interactions they have with me are on email and after a few exchanges have stopped responding to the emails as well. They continue claim that their quality process is 100% accurate and they sent me the right item from their fulfillment center and my truth means nothing to the decision that they have already made,Amazon literally stole from me!!!
