1 starWatch out, Amazon.com is sneaky and slimy. I placed an order. Because it was over the minimum for shipping charge, there was no shipping charge on my order - at least that was what the bill said. Amazon took my single order with no shipping charge and, without my knowledge, divided it into four orders and charged me shipping on three of them. One item was for $10, and they charged me $6 for shipping. So my original single order that had no shipping charges was altered by amazon into four orders where shipping went from $0 to $14.64. What a scam! Right under your nose they s**** you and you don't even see it coming. Rather unethical and dishonest. Don't trust them!Review fromAlondra B.

1 starAmazon is definitely a rip off! 1. I have Amazon prime, so with that being said I ordered spent ****** with Amazon I was told my order would be here on 9/25/22.at the very last minute I receive an email saying my order has been delayed! I call Amazon and spoke with a supervisor(supposedly), she told me a refund could take up to 10 days so therefore no use in canceling. Then she guaranteed me me order will be here on 9/26/22! On this date nothing!!!! So 8:45 pm I call again then I get a rude, didnt care because it wasnt her money, now shes telling me a totally different story then the supervisor from the day before. When asked for a supervisor on this call, now its we dont have a supervisor on this shift(whatever), now she reading me everything that the app is telling me as though I cant read( then the tone and rudeness of how she was speaking to me), and she also told me she dont know when my order will be here all she can tell me is that my order is delayed! Well wow so my ****** is just took basically and I get my order whenever I get it! Oh yea the first supervisor did tell me she could give me a five dollar credit oh that funny! Or if I wanted my money immediately they could give it to me on a Amazon gift card! Now why would I spend my money with Amazon again? I just feel like when something is purchased through you, you do all you can to make sure that customer receives their order on time and if not you try your best to see whats going on and where is the order! I did not get any of that! In so many words they told me oh well you already paid so you get your order when you get it! I do not suggest ordering from Amazon! 1 starI have been working at amazon for three almost 4 months my first issue I like to address is management. a male manager named **** told me a sexist comment quoting " you women are all the same when people tell you guys something it goes out the other ear to me felt like discrimination of gender i was offended because he wouldn't dare tell any other female this . Secondly I felt bullied by my own job due to dress code the incident started by my shorts amazon told me in the beginnig of working here dress code is to dress comfortable in the manual it states shorts have to be 6 inches above the knee other females at my job wear shorts above 6 inches I felt attacked because they didn't go after anyone of color but for me as a African American women they come for me telling me i have a warning for a wrong I have not committed. I have talked to HR and there was no help at all no accountability even during the disscusion standing next to HR representative was another associate who wore the exact length of short as I did she was white I've pointed out to HR they told me they'll talk to her but never did. the rest of the day they gave me excuses saying I cant wear anything that's going to entice a riot which had nothing to do with my shorts I feel like I'm discriminated because of my body type and my Identity I'm the only female they target they don't come for nobody else, amazon is only covering management they never treat amazon warehouse associates with respect amazon violated my rights as women as a human being and my physic.Review fromPhillip l

1 starI am extremely disappointed in this company at the moment. I purchased a tablet for my son about a year and a half ago because I liked the idea of him having educational games for him to play. All was well until the end of the year came and suddenly I started getting charged 5 dollars per month. Only to find out that in order to maintain the learning games on the tablet I had to now pay this fee indefinitely. The fee has now randomly increased to **** a month and comes out to about the same price I paid for the tablet every single year! I'll put this simply, Amazon is scamming parents into purchasing a "learning tablet" for their kids only to addict them to these games and then charge them ridiculous prices later for what is nothing more than to use their application.Review fromMaureen B.

1 starI can't believe that ******************* is increasing the Amazon Prime annual membership by $20 this year. His business has over $300 B profit margin. He builds his own spaceships and is one of the richest people in the world. He offers no discount for senior citizens, which are probably his most loyal customers. This is unjustifiable. 1 starI have a default card on my Amazon (prime) account which is something Amazon requires. I made a purchase using a different card that is not the default card and it was somebody else's card. The funds were not available on the default card when they attempted to charge the card but I know from previous experiences that I had 3 days to pay. Instead amazon decided to charge the next card available and not wait the 3 days. They could have overdrafts that person's card but who cares? That card is still on my account because the purchase it made over a week ago still hasn't been shipped. I called *********** told me it's policy to charge whatever card is on the account when the default card declines. I asked for that ********** never got it. There is also an EBT card on my acct. with my name on it which most know can be used as a debit if there is monetary funds on there. I asked them (just to prove a point) did they attempt to charge that card with my name on it & of course they wouldn't answer because they did not. The purpose of having a default card is so the retailer's payment system will automatically default to a "preselected" payment, not choose whatever it decides which would defeat the "DEFAULT" option. Amazon will quote you a "policy" heard or unheard of if it defends their bad behavior. I have spent way too much money with Amazon Prime that I work hard for just for it to boil down to them making decisions about how and when to use MY chosen default debit card and the decision to use someone else's WITHOUT PERMISSION which by the way is a crime everywhere else. They have lost me as a customer and if they loose enough, they will stop doing business like criminals.Review fromJanice B

1 starI spend an average of $500 a month on Amazon, I canceled an order for a $10 product and they have not refunded my little $10 they say it is not charged until it is shipped but my bank statement shows the decrease of the exact amount of the product went to Amazon payments but they still refuse to do anything about it.Review fromDean B

1 starI tried to change my password to a more secure one., and it failed. I called them to try and straighten it out and after verifying my account, they had a bunch of weird questions, one about some numbers on a purchase with amazon. I gave them all the numbers I could see and they said I failed that question. I was on my banks website at the time( ***** Fargo). the numbers couldn't be wrong. So now I have no access to my Amazon account at all! +I buy tools f-or my job and I guess I will have to source my tools elsewhere. 1 starThe drivers never follow delivery instructions. I have called every time Ive ordered and I get no where. The drivers throw packages into lobbies or wrong addresses and customer service who is over seas lies and states it will be escalated. But it continues to happenReview fromNatalie C

1 starIts amazing to me that one of the largest retailers in the world has such horrible customer service. This is the first time. I keep going back to Amazon because of unique items and deals, but I always regret it. I am getting nowhere except incorrect information and lies. I tried calling the corporate number given to me by a CS rep, and the operator kept hanging up on me when I would ask her for other channels to contact because the normal ones were not working. Its unbelievable. I finally got in contact with a way nicer receptionist, and she did give me a place where I can mail a letter. When supervisors can only answer my question on what is the next step to resolve my issues With the reply I dont know, I should be able to speak to someone else. This isnt the case with Amazon. I placed an order with a third party that refuses to respond to me or Amazon. I am trying to cancel the order and Amazon can't, only the seller can. It hasnt been shipped. No one can tell me how to get the order canceled if the seller doesnt respond to requests. I have an order in limbo for a week and nothing can be done. I was promised an A to Z claim would be done twice, only to be told it cant be because the item was never shipped and only authorization was done to CC, not charged. I dont want the seller to somehow charge my card down the road with an open order. I dont know isnt an answer. Amazon can do better but wont. Amazon has lost a customer.
