Skal is owed funds collected on it's behalf by Brown Paper Tickets. This was emailed:October 19, 2023 *************************** Customer Support at Events.com RE: Demand for Payment $20,928 Account: Skal -******* Dear **************:As someone with whom I have previously communicated, I write to ask for help with the ongoing delayed payment issue my company has been experiencing. After repeated, but unanswered requests for payment of long-overdue ticket proceeds for Skl, I write to demand immediate payment of $20,928 in ticket sales proceeds that Brown Paper Tickets and its *************** Events.Com (collectively BPT) owe to my account ***********. These ticket sales proceeds have been due and outstanding since May 2023. As BPTs own records show, there is no dispute that payment is due from BPT to my account or that BPT is long past its contractual time frame for making payment to my account.Attached to this letter is a copy of a BPT *************** for my account showing that BPT has processed tickets sales for 28 events, totaling $20,928, for which payment from BPT has not been made. Skl is a small business, and BPTs failure to pay my account in a timely manner is adversely impacting my business. Also attached to this letter is copy of BPTs credit card processing payment terms, making clear that payment for processing of the above ticket sales shall be made no later than ten (10) business days after the end of our event. Excepting one event, all the ticket sales for which BPT processed and for which payment is due to my account ended far longer than 10 days ago; in fact, some of these sales were completed more than five months ago.I have been a customer of BPT for several years and have been extremely patient with BPT despite its lack of timely payment for the above events. My company has reached out to BPT nearly a dozen times over the last several months and have received little response. We are a small business and cannot wait any longer for payment. If BPT does not make payment within 10 business days of this letter to my account, I will be forced to evaluate other options, including reaching out to the media (including the CBS13-1 Team) and the **************************** in the ***** *********************** regarding BPTs failure to pay the monies owed to this account. Again, my account is ************ and the email for this account is ************************** I look forward to a reply and receiving payment immediately.*************************, Owner ********************************************************** ************Initial Complaint

I am the treasurer for a non-profit school that utilized Brown Paper Tickets for our spring play. According to our *************** from 4/21/23, we are owed nearly $3000 for ticket sales from said play. This money is used for school trips and educational opportunities. Brown Paper Tickets was used as the agency to collect the money for tickets purchased for my class reunion that occurred on September 23, 2023. When signing up for the service you are told you will have your money 10 days after the event. After the event closed I was then informed that it may take longer than 10 days to transfer the money. I contacted them via email after the 10 days and was told to update my account information again. That was completed on October 13th. I have contacted them via email 2 times since from 2 different emails about when I will receive the money and have received no answer. Their no longer offering phone support so email is the only way to contact. I have vendors to pay and have had to use personal money since this is now almost 30 days passed the event.Initial Complaint

I used Brown Paper Tickets for an event on September 15 and 16, 2023 in *********, **. I am a performer and self-produced a one-man show. Since I had used BPT in 2021 for the same show with no problem there was no reason for me to think that there would be an issue this time around. The shows in *********, ** were advertised as a fundraiser for a local non-profit. While I set up the ticket service via BPT and am expecting the money to be deposited in my bank account, the proceeds are being donated to Jamestown PRIDE. All pre-show advertising included information about the fundraiser and that tickets were available through BPT. Tickets were only availble via BPT and not sold on site for cash or any other method. We were 100% relying on BPT to provide the ticket service and funding in a timely manner. The company says that funds for ticket sales will be paid within 10 business days of the event. By that timeline, I should have been paid on September 29, 2023. It is now October 21, 2023 and the company has not deposited anything in my account and owes me $8330.34. BPT voice support line is not in service so the only way to contact the company is via their email - *********************************** The only response I have received is an automated one with a case ID#. I am at a loss as to how to try to get the company to respond and pay me what they owe. I understand through ****** searches they owe many performers and venues money and it seems through what I have read that the only way to collect what they owe is by making official complaints. I am reaching out to BBB for help in contacting Brown Paper Tickets to try to resolve this matter.
