I used the Brown Paper Tickets site for a non-profit to sell tickets for fundraisers for our local Chamber and have not been paid the $6340.00 due. I have read over a 50 similar complaints abut not being paid and I am writing this complaint because ************** acquired Brown Paper Tickets in October 2022 and they did not resolve the issue of payment. I have attempted to contacted Events.com via their website and was instructed to fill out a form. By filling out this form, you will be sending your query to the team helping Brown Paper Tickets, in charge of sorting payments due to the event organizers. I filled out the form and have not received any further communication. On the Brown Paper Ticket site, it clearly states that payment from ticket sales is ten business days after the event. Note that the Brown Paper Tickets website is still up and fully operating. Neither ************** or Brown Paper Tickets are taking phone calls and only give automated responses to email inquiries. In addition to collecting the money from attendees, Events.com via Brown Paper Tickets also charged a fee for handling the tickets. I have no problem with them keeping that fee, but they have essentially stolen the $6340.00 in ticket sales due our local ChamberInitial Complaint

After years of using Brown Paper Tickets, they have not provided us with the over $4000 in sales we earned between 2022-2023. We're a church and rely on these funds.Initial Complaint

Our ******** ************************** Helping Prevent Homelessness (CECH) held a benefit concert on August 17, 2023. We used an online ticket service provided by Brown Paper Tickets to sell tickets and forward the ticket price to CECH. Brown Paper Tickets charged a ticket processing fee of $2.69 per ticket to the ticket purchasers in addition to the $20 ticket price ($22.69 x 22 = ******). After the ticket sales closed on the day of the concert, we received the following report from Brown Paper Tickets:************ Ended URL:************************************************ (See other linking options)Sales:22 (Sales Reports)Value:$440.00 Brown Paper Tickets promised to forward the ticket sales collections within 10 business days after the concert. Now, two months after the concert, we have not received the $440 collected by Brown Paper Tickets. I have contacted their help line ************************************ by email a number of times and get a form response promising someone will contact me but there is never any contact. Their phone number *************), and the phone number of their parent company *************) (Events.com), are not accepting any phone calls. It appears that Brown Paper Tickets and their parent company, Events.com, are operating a fraudulent scam, purporting to collect payment on behalf of charities but then taking the admission fees they collect and refusing to forward them to the charities. We need to $440 to continue our charitable mission. I used Brown Paper Tickets to mange ticket sales for a performance, knowing they had been a trustworthy site in the past. Payment is promised within 10 days of the event, and they reached out to ask me to update my bank information so they could make a direct deposit. However, 63 days later I still have not been paid any portion of the $480 owed to me. I have reached out numerous times with no reply. In addition to wanting the money that is owed to me for a self-produced event, I want their site to be discontinued, as I've since learned they owe millions to artists falling into the same trap.Initial Complaint

Brown Paper Tickets have not responded to any of our emails and our complaint was prematurely closed for no reason at all. First name was ALWAYS available in the email address - really ridiculous - will be escalating to our legal team as BBB is obviously not going to be helpful in this case. Disappointing.Initial Complaint

We are a non-profit radio station in **********, ******** that brodcasts locally, nationally and worldwide, called KDNK **********************. KDNK held its 40th Anniversary fundraiser on April 15th, 2023. We used Brown Paper Tickets to sell tickets and they owe us $9,310 that they have not deposited to our account, a bank account they requested the info for. We have tried relentlessly to get in touch with someone but they have no customer service and no one responds to emails. We are still owed $9,310 from a fundraising event, money that we relyn on to continue brodacasting radio, serving our community and suporting public media. It has been since April 15th with no response from BPT.Initial Complaint

I used the company Brown Paper Tickets to sell online tickets for an event I hosted September 1st 2023. Their website says they will send funds from ticket sales 10 days after the events ends. It has been 37 days and I have not received any funds. I am owed over $2,200 because my event sold many tickets. They have not responded to the 6 emails I sent, and their phone number help line is currently unavailable.Initial Complaint

We hosted a dance on May 5, 2023 using Brown paper tickets as our point of sale. They never deposited our end of the ticket sales. I have been trying to reach someone at BPT, but they have been acquisitioned by Events.com and neither organization currently has phone customer service. I reached out to Events.com through ******** messenger and they sent me to a form that has already been filled out. My Girl Scout troop is missing $973.36 from this event.
