Request ****** was rejected after I submitted all proper paperwork. All decisions are final and not subject to further appeal was their response even though they have a supposed appeal process. I think these guys are like insurance companies and just deny all claims, whether valid or not.Business Response

My notice number is 1005428217.I am writing to complain about the unfair parking notice I received on May 18th, 2023. I hope you can review my case and give me a reasonable explanation and refund my notice fee.On that day, I went to pick up a meal from a restaurant at **********************************************************************. The restaurant did not have any parking spaces in front of it and there was a one-way street in front of the restaurant. I had no choice but to park my car at the parking spot in front of DICKs restaurant, and I told a lady who was give my notice that I would only take a minute to get my meal. As I said, I only took one minute to get my meal and returned to my car, but the lady was taking pictures of my car and told me that I was fined for illegal parking. But it is a parking lot! My driving record can prove that I arrived at the parking lot at 12:33 pm, I spent 3 minutes looking for a parking spot and told the lady that I would only take 1 minute to get my meal. She issued the ticket at 12:37 pm. I left there at 12:39 pm, and it only took me 6 minutes from arriving at the parking lot to leaving. So I went home and opened the Diamond Parking Companys website to complain about this matter, but I was told that I had to pay the fine first before I could complain. So I paid the fine and reported the details of the incident and my cars driving record to Diamond Parking Company, but it has been two months and I have not received any reply from Diamond Parking Company. I hope you can give me a reasonable explanation. I did not violate any parking rules and I was very respectful to the lady who managed the parking lot. I only parked there for 1 minute because there was no other option. I paid the fine as requested, but I did not receive any response from you.I request that you refund my fine and apologize for the inconvenience caused by this incident. I used Spot Hero to book a spot at *********** garage 6/20/23 for around $15. When I returned to my car at the end of the day I found a ticket for non-payment for $65 ($95 if paid after 15 days) from Diamond Parking, which was incorrect. I checked my Spot Hero account and discovered I had not updated my license plate from CA to WA. I promptly e-mailed both Diamond Parking and Spot Hero. Diamond parking never responded. Spot Hero promptly responded and said they would get the ticket voided. Three weeks later Spot Hero responded and said that Diamond refused to void the ticket even after providing proof of payment because my license plate was incorrect. I went to **********************'s website to pay the incorrect ticket and now because of the time elapsed I owed $102 (plus "handling fee"). This is ridiculous as I paid for the spot and disputed the same day I got the ticket. I would like a full refund on the ticket.Business Response

I received a parking ticket within the first 5 minutes of got out of my vehicle with the claim that I walked out of premise toward the north. However, at no point in time did I step foot out the premise and actually headed south WITHIN the plaza, heading the the restaurant that is in the same plaza. I tried to dispute my ticket, but they denied the dispute saying my evidence was not an accepted piece of evidence and they needed restaurant receipt as proof. I then called customer ********************** and they advised that if I send my restaurant receipt to ************************************* they would be able to assist with helping me look into the dispute again. I went ahead and sent a copy of my restaurant receipt, screenshot of my credit card statement, and even a GPS location (exact to the meter and movement per minute) and of the exact time (to the minute), yet they refuse to look into my dispute again and is still charging me. I have contacted customer ********************** over 7 times and emailed them over 5 times with the attempt to dispute and rectify this issue. There are no grounds to still charge me the ticket now that I have acceptable pieces of evidence to prove that I was within the plaza. My GPS location also proves that I never stepped foot out the plaza, accurate to the exact meter and minute. I am also including a time stamp just 3-4 minutes after I have received the parking ticket of a photo of the food at the restaurant with a time stamp.Business Response

Tried to park in ************* in old town ******** on 7/8/23. Twice paid parking meter in lot $6 to get receipt saying that I had paid for parking so I could park in the lot. Neither time either received a receipt saying that I had paid or received notification that my credit card had been charged. Had to take my car and park in the lot just Northwest of the ************************** on ******** and ***** because was afraid if I tried to park car in ************* lot without a receipt that I would either get a ticket or get towed. Have twice called telephone number on sign in ************* parking lot that says the meter is maintained by the Diamond Parking company and left a message requesting call back to discuss refund and both times have only reached a voice mail and neither time have I been called back. I got a parking ticket of $86.50 from Diamond Parking on July 6th, 2023 at 12:16pm. There was a picture of my car with my license plate taken and a comment on the notice saying that I walked off towards another shopper mall. I do not understand why I was ticketed because I did not leave the premises, and in fact I made a purchase in a grocery store which is located at the same address as the lot where I parked. I have a receipt showing that I made a purchase at that grocery store at 12:22pm. I made an appeal online on July 9th, explaining my situation and attached my receipt but got an email saying that my appeal was denied. I was frustrated because I did not do anything wrong, so I called Diamond Parking on July 11th. The lady at customer ********************** said that there is nothing I can do but to pay the ticket because it has already been decided by the appeal agent that I was at fault. I asked to be transferred to the appeal agent but got rejected by the lady. She told me the patrol agent witnessed I walking off the lot and I needed to pay the ticket. Diamond parking was not able to show any proof of me walking off the premises and there was no way for me to understand how the appeal decision was made. It is unfair if I have to pay for something that I did not do wrong.Business Response

Please note that this location is private property and all parking rules have been created by the property owner(s). Diamond Parking has been hired to enforce these parking rules as posted on the property which states that drivers can only park their vehicle while they are a patron of ************* on the property. If a driver leaves the property without their vehicle they will be subject to ticketing and/or towing. May 8, 2023. Parked vehicle, believed paid, 2 other people saw the "Paid, remove card " on the meter, when we returned the to the car there was a ticket. Early payment of $80.00 full payment of $126 May 15, 2023: Sent email (Mon, May 15, 2023 at 8:44 AM ) requesting cancellation of the charge. May 16th: response from Diamond parking denying request to cancel charges May 16, 2023: tried to pay but no open ticket was found. I assumed the ticket was cancelled. Despite your email that states it will remain open and payable in our system, therefore very logical to assume it was cancelled.June 27, 2023: received a FINAL NOTICE letter asking for $126.50 I have not to spoken to a human regarding this dispute., The threat to send this off to a collections agency before a reasonable attempt to resolve the matter seems unreasonable and even more unreasonable when I made three attempts to pay the ticket online and had the attached screen.Business Response

On two occasions I've received a "No payment" parking ticket time stamped within the window of parking I did indeed pay for. I've emailed Diamond Parking about both times and have never received a response or resolution. The first was March 2022. The ticket writer was still present and when I asked her about it she said it was a "known issue that machines weren't communicating" so she "had to write tickets" but I could "call and they'll get rid of it." I did call, they confirmed it was a known issue and said to send an email with my proof of payment. I did that. They never responded again or resolved the ticket. June 2022 I paid for parking and returned to find a ticket time stamped within my paid time. This time, the phone system isn't working. No matter which option I choose, the welcome message plays over and over and never connects to a person. When I log in to my account I see the ticket from March with a hefty fine added to it, and this new ticket from June. I've emailed multiple times for the June ticket, no response. Diamond Parking is writing erroneous tickets and refusing to resolve. I'm 100% sure I'm not the only victim based on that conversation in March.Business Response

Thank you for the opportunity to review the customers complaint. We were able to look into each instance and both disputes have since been resolved.
As a courtesy, we voided the notice received in June,when the customer parked in one lot and paid for the incorrect lot. For the notice issued in March of 2022 this should not have been issued due to the malfunctioning equipment. We have taken this opportunity to retrain employees if and when pay machines malfunction. We would also like to remind the customer that we offer various mobile payment options if and when a machine is not functioning properly.
We appreciate the feedback and also appreciate the patience from the customer as we worked through significant issues with our phone system and email spam service.

Paid for 1 hour of parking and decided we wanted to stay longer so at 5 mins to the time expiring I went upstairs to add more time. There is only 1 pay station in the parking lot and there were 3 people at the machine. I was waiting in line to pay and noticed a man standing at the back of my car. I realized he was the parking ticket man so I ran over to him and said "Hey sir I'm right here just waiting to add more time" and his response was "sorry mam my machine says you didn't pay" I pulled out my previous receipt and said "yes I did pay and I want to pay again but I need to wait" he just kept saying "sorry mam" and then proceeded to give me a ticket. I said "please sir I am right here and now it's only 2 mins over but I was in line to pay more" after talking to him for a few more mins trying to convince him to stop he took a photo of the license plate and put the ticket under the wiper blade, wouldn't even hand it to me. Completely unacceptable behavior, called support to have this ticket canceled and the lady on the phone was just as **** and said next time download the app so I don't have to wait. I paid at the machine the first time why do I need to have an app for every single place I go to, especially if it's my first time there. $86 ticket given to someone that A. already paid once for parking and B. was in line to pay again. He should have walked over and asked us if anyone owned the red car not just issued a ticket. Ridiculous!Business Response

Hello - I dispute the Parking Ticket #**********. There was no signage on pavement or in-front of any of stalls at ****** Point shopping complex to reflect paid parking stall. The parking appeared as free parking for patrons visiting the businesses with stalls in front of storefront, not in a parking garage. Please remove ticket penalty. If the stall had noted paid parking I would have sought out a pay station to pay accordingly for my 2 hours in the parking stall. Thank you in advance.Business Response
