diamond parking lot WX38-**** *****, ********* Location.I regularly visit the **** credit union location across the street for the teller machine-clearly with the lot and all the open parking spaces the grocery store has, this has to be clearly a way to regularly profit on individuals that are parked less than 15 minutes to discriminate and profit from parking in this store lot. There is no street parking and clearly the individual's monitoring this lot are clearly taking advantage of the public. This is a grocery store lot and there is no reason to be enforcing tickets on the public when there is no pay station. I would advise anyone reading to be aware that there are individual's citing tickets. Ticket was for $65.50. The comment on the citation says walk-off. which means you can go to store but are not allowed to walk off lot. This practice of stalking for citations should be investigated.Business Response

Dear Parking Services Appeals Team,I am writing this letter to formally contest the parking ticket assigned to me on June 12, 2023, with the reference number 1005463392,which was issued at 1:37 PM. I firmly believe this citation to be a misunderstanding and wish to present my case as follows. On the aforementioned date, I parked my vehicle in a location that I have always understood to be legal parking for customers of ****'s Restaurant, a local business that I regularly visit. I went in,ordered my meal, and was inside the restaurant when the ticket was mistakenly issued. To provide proof of my claim, I am attaching a copy of my receipt from my meal at ****'s. The timestamp on the receipt demonstrates that I was inside the restaurant, ordering and consuming my meal when the supposed violation occurred. This evidence corroborates my contention that I was indeed parked legally in accordance with my status as a patron of the restaurant at that time.I am always careful to comply with all parking regulations, respecting their necessity to maintain order and fairness. In this particular instance, I am convinced that I was in the right and abiding by all relevant parking regulations. The evidence I am presenting, I believe, supports this.I kindly request that you take into consideration my appeal and the attached proof in the form of the receipt from ****'s Restaurant.Given the evidence, I believe the ticket was erroneously issued and respectfully request its dismissal.Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please feel free to contact me if further information or clarification is required. I also tried calling the number on the ticket - and no one answered.Sincerely,AvinashBusiness Response

On 05/06/2023 I parked my truck at a Diamond Parking Services parking lot in *****, ***** at *****************. I parked at 7:19 pm paid by using the provided QR code link using Apple pay. I verified that I was charged $8.90 for 2 hours of parking. I had dinner with my family and returned to my truck at 8:45 pm. I noticed that a ticket had been placed on my window for non payment upon my return to the lot. I kept this ticket. on 05/08/2023, I referenced the ticket to go online to dispute and appeal the ticket by following the instructions on the website for appeal. I sent an email that day to ************************************************** in that email I attached the receipt that the company charged me $8.90 on 05/06/2023. I let them know I would not be paying anything further including late fines. I received no email confirmation of the appeal. I then received another letter on 06/10/2023 informing me that I had failed to comply with the terms and conditions of the parking agreement and added additional fees and late charges. A $8.90 charge is now $73. This is unacceptable business follow up and actually seems intentional fraudulent business practice. How can they provide an appeal process with no follow up or resolutions. I now want my $8.90 back in addition to the cessation of all collection activities. all email communication and letters includedBusiness Response

I received a payment notice on my vehicle after parking in their lot. The only method of payment available at the lot (Lot #***** ***********************) was a ** code on the wall, no machines nearby. I scan the ** code, the webpage says "Paid parking at this location starts at 6:00 AM Sunday". There was no possible way of paying as the webpage did not even have any links that leads to a payment page. I urge the management to try accessing that page at the same time of day I did and see what happens. I filed a dispute and highlighted this issue, but the response I received was a copy-and-paste generic response that sounded like they didn't even bother to read the dispute or the screenshot of their webpage. My reference number is #********.Business Response

Hi,
Our goal with any customer, is to provide the reason the notice was issued to prevent it from happening again in the future. This notice was issued for failure to pay. This location provides numerous options to pay for parking on the facility. There is a meter onsite near the center by the staircase and mall entrance. Where your vehicle is parked, there is also 3 signs for other payment vendors, PayByPhone, Park Whiz and *********** in the chance you are having issues with paying using one of the apps. These signs can be seen in one of the photos taken by the patroller which are viewable on our website. To utilize parking on this facility, parking must be paid for or your vehicle is subject to ticketing and/or towing. Without payment you are not permitted to park on this lot. I have, as a one-time courtesy, reduced the fine down to $60 if paid by the end of day Tuesday Jun, 20th, 2023. To proceed with this courtesy you can call our office during business hours at ************ and quote your reference number. Have a great day!

Parked my car in a mall parking lot, went to a restaurant to meet some friends, came back, shopped at the parked mall which is a must to be able to park there. All these happened in the same hour. Saw the ticket saying walked out of the lot as the reason to the ticket, disputed it with the receipt of the business from the same mall, denied Even though i know they cannot do anything legally if i dont pay the ticket but harrase me for a long time with collection agencies and written notices, i just do jot want the harrasment it is a small matter but there are thousands of complaints like that on the internet about exactly the same company. What kind of business gives a ticket on basis of walking off the lot, somebody is watching us and probably took some pictures which is also violation of privacy.I cannot do much as a single person or make them take me serious but they might take BBB serious. I ended up paying the ticket, all documents are attached. I would like them to pay me back what they took unlawfully with the help of your organization and may be you guys will be able to put a stop this crooked companys these kind of actions. This is not a ****** off guy crying about a parking ticket, this is about a business making money unfairly and most probably unlawfully Thank you *********************Business Response

Hello,
Our goal with any customer, is to provide the reason the notice was issued, find a mutual resolution and to prevent it from happening again in the future. Please note, that this location is private property, and all parking rules have been created by the property owners. Diamond Parking has been hired to enforce these parking rules as posted on the property due to the unauthorized use on the facility. One of the rules posted is that you are not permitted to leave the property without your vehicle, or you can be ticketed and/or towed. This is one of the terms and conditions posted on the sign you took a picture of and submitted in your appeal. You can park for free while conducting business on the property. Once you leave the lot you are in violation.Specifically in your case, you were witnessed by our patroller leaving the lot which put you in violation, as stated on signage, and the patroller is contracted to immediately issue a notice. I do see the receipt from Seto for some time after and have taken into consideration this being the only ticket on this plate, I have reduced the notice as a one tome courtesy to $50. To proceed with this courtesy, you may contact the Customer ********************** department at ************ and quote your reference number. This will hold on your account until Friday Jun 16th, 2023 at 5pm. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Utilized parking service on ************. Paid via hang tag as per signage physically located in the parking lot. Received ticket. Phoned diamond and explained.. was told its a common occurrence, to provide proof of payment and submit dispute. It would be rectified. Received mail a month later indicating my dispute had been denied and I owe $126. Called, unable to resolve but promised a call back from someone higher up. No call received. I paid in good faith to park in this lot as per the signage there. I cannot in good conscience pay this fine as the charges are based on fraudulent and misleading information.Business Response

On 12/2/2022 I parked in the Diamond Parking lot located *********************************************. I paid $11.73 which my credit card sent me confirmation of the transaction at 4:02pm on 12/2/22. I used the phone service to pay the fee. No receipt was issued from Diamond Parking. I have parked in this lot before and had no problems. When I was ready to leave, I got in my car and drove to my next destination. There was no notice of non-payment on the windshield of my car.I was driving a rental car from the dealership that day because my car was being fixed due to a malfunctioning part in my car.About 3 months later, I received in the mail a late notice from Diamond Parking Services for No Advanced Payment. I called Diamond about this and was told that because I was driving a rental car, they had sent all the prior notices to the rental company. Late charges had already been added to the invoice, so I was being charged $65.50 for the parking notice fee, $6.50 for a handling fee, and $30 for additional late payment fee. I emailed a copy of my credit card statement to Diamond Parking showing a single charge to my credit card of $11.73 to Diamond Parking on 12/2/23. I was told that my credit card statement wasnt proof that I had paid Diamond Parking for parking in the ******************** I contacted ParkMobile support, as they are responsible for managing the payments for the ******************** I gave them the information they required. Their response was that by calling my payment in, instead of using the ParkMobile App, they are not able to provide a receipt for my payment on 12/2/22.Diamond Parking is saying the only proof of payment they will accept is a receipt from ParkMobile, and ParkMobile does not provide receipts for payment that are called in. We will be communicating this information to the customer with a separate email today.
