In September 2018, I had a hospital stay at ************************** in **********. During my stay, I provided my ***************** Healthcare benefits to cover all costs related to my stay. Sound Physicians sent a bill to collections in 2020, after never mailing us a bill. Had we received a bill, I would have turned it into my insurance. When I received the collection notice, we promptly contacted our health insurance provider who indicated they could not pay due to it being over a year old. When calling Sound Physicians today, April 18, ****** advised they mailed statements but could not advise where they were mailed to. Our household of 5 does not have almost $1600 to drop on a medical bill that would have been covered by health insurance if any proper billing or inquiries had been made. I am seeking help getting this statement out of collections and written off by the company.Business Response

On Sept. 2021 I was hospitalized for Covid...During that time I saw Dr.s from the Physicians Of ***** PLLC. I have ******** and a secondary Insurance through *********************** paid my out of pocket of $4000.00 and had assumed everyone had been paid...A year and a half later I received three separate letters from ON Line Collections one in the amount of $1439.50...one in the amount of $763.71 and the third letter showing a balance of $512.49! I called the collection company and asked for info and the names of the Doctors who had turned me over to collections, the agent said she didn't have that information! I have gone back through all of my bills for that time frame and have nothing to show for these charges! I have tried to contact the office here to try and resolve this but no one has returned my calls!! Why was I never billed for these services and why has it taken a year and a half to get something from a credit bureau????Business Response

The ****************** at the time of the admission was for the hospital only and did not cover the physician benefits. The facility did not provide the secondary insurance to us for billing. Multiple statements were sent, calls, and a pre-collect letter went unanswered. Please contact ********** and provide the correct insurance so it can be billed.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I find it strange that everyone else was given and submitted the insurance information by the two people who were taking care of my bills during the time of my hospitalization! The response given by the business is incorrect...I NEVER received letters or calls until a year and a half after the time I received care!! I will not take the blame for their incompetence! I know they have the insurance information because I gave it to the person I spoke to in my last conversation!

On 1-2 & 1-3-2023 I received services at ****************************************************. Im with the VA. I later received a bill & the hospital said it was paid. I received another *************************** said it was paid. I checked with the VA who said it was paid. Yet I continue to receive bills that threaten collection.Business Response

The insurance claims all came back as the patient cannot be identified. We will be contacting the patient to confirm the insurance before sending new claims. I went to an emergency room and received services. I provided my health insurance information which is AHCCCS A88380020. I was told ahccccs covered the cost of my services. Several months later I see that I have negative information on my credit report for an $850 bill. I have no income. Thats why I was on ahcccs. If they were going to provide a service and then bill me later sound physicians should have let me know at the time. Ive never even heard of sound physicians and never received a bill. I want this removed from my credit report. They are using online information systems who bought the debt to harass me and even though I had the item removed it keeps being added to my credit report. I never agreed to pay sound physicians any money.Business Response

I am receiving texts that state I will be charged over $2000 and late payments will be sent to my credit file. These are false charges. Never had these procedures. There is a Medical Bill from South Sound Inpatient Physicians that is showing up on my credit report that I was unaware of. I have never heard of this company nor have I ever received a bill from them. I have no idea what the bill is for, when or where its from. I have called but no one ever answers. Have left messages and never got a call back. I have asked in the voice mail to be contacted as I have never received a bill and repeated my phone number 3 times to ensure they got the number. I pay my bills when I receive them. If i dont receive a bill that states who, what, where, when and how much I cannot pay it. Would you pay someone money without any explanation or documentation? No. I want this debt removed from collections and my credit report as they have not provided me with any documentation that I have asked for. The bill is for $152.00. Says it was opened on 8-14-22. Please help me get this removed and clear up my credit report. My credit score should validate that I pay my bills and not disregard them.Business Response

A statement was sent to the patient on 11/15/2019, a call was made to the patient on 1/2/2020 with a live hang-up, the patient called in on 1/8/21 and 1/11/21 to use the *** and review the account. Patient called in 2/20/23 requesting a call back, we called on 2/21/23 and the ** was full. I am rejecting this response because:
I have no idea what an IVR is nor do I know how to even access it. My voice mail has not been full ever so Im not sure what that is all about. Regardless if they can send me an itemized bill showing me the date of service, what I was seen for, where I was seen the amount that was billed to my insurance and what they covered and my portion of the bill that was not covered I would be happy to pay it but it needs to be a legitimate bill. I can provide my mailing address as I moved in March of 2020 but had my mail forwarded and never received a bill from them. I dont pay something that cant be shown to me. It would be like me calling you and stating that you own me money for something but me not showing you what for.
Please let me know if this works for you and I can provide my address to ensure it gets to me

This company turned me over for collections without ever sending me a statement of payments owed. In fact it sent 2 at one time causing me to think it was fraudulent collecting. I have not received one invoice for sound physicians prior to receiving collection letters and then a collection call today.Business Response

12/28/2022 - I spoke to Sound physicians on a recorded line. The woman on the phone told me i was "good" to not have to pay anything and i just needed to wait up to 45 days for my insurance at the time ******, to clear and that she submitted the info to ******.2-11-2023 I am still receiving final notices of pay to my apartment for an unknown billing amount that should have been covered by insurance.Business Response
