      Sound Physicians are texting me a bill for a doctor I do not recognize from surgery in March, 2022. I asked about and paid all copays prior to the surgery. The bill Sound sent is for $905. I contacted my insurance provider and they have no record of the bill being submitted.

      This account has been reviewed and the information provided by the facility matches the information provided by the patient in this form. The insurance provided by the facility was billed and denied. We then received the corrected information; however, it will now deny for timely filing. The account has been adjusted to a zero balance.

      I have received a collections bill from ***************************, stating that Sound Physicians Emergency Medicine has submitted an unpaid bill from me. I never received a bill from Sound Physicians Emergency for services rendered on January 4th 2022. I have contacted the Dr's ****** in question, the hospital, insurance company and nobody has record of the bill (and amount) in question ever being submitted or any amount being due by me. I called the collections agency as well and all the provided was the name of provider and amount due which seems to be changing each time I contact them. Please have this matter resolve as it is impacting my credit, and I do not understand why a bill would be sent to collections instead of being sent to me or my insurance company.Thank you.

      I am rejecting this response because: there were no text messages, phone calls or statements sent. In fact, I had contacted three times the doctor/hospital/insurance offices regarding this matter and they had no records of me owing any money, of missing anything, and some of the referenced Dr in the letter dont even have records of me being a patient ever. The account number provided in the letter also belonged to a different patient and of course details cant be shared with me because of regulations and confidentiality. The insurance company reviewed all records and no billing was ever made by this group or physician, all claims submitted were paid. Hospital has no records of outstanding invoices or even using the collections company. Happy to provide phone records to show your offices never attempted to text or contact. I have no medical bills past due with anyone, so unless youre calling a different number or sending the statement somewhere else, your failure to contact the actual patient stands. This matter is not resolved and you need to rectify your wrong doing.

      On 10/24/2021 I went to the *** Later I received a bill from my insurance and paid it. In February 2022 I received a letter from Sound Physicians stating that I had a balance due. I called them and they said that my insurance denied the claim, I discovered that they had billed it under my maiden name. Spoke to Sound Physicians and they said they would correct it and resubmit. In August 2022 I received notice from a collections agency that the claim was still open and going to collections. I called Sound Physicians and they stated that while my information had been updated in their system, no one had resubmitted the claim but they would do so now as well as cancel the collections process. Last week I received notice from the collections agency again that the claim was still open and it is now going against my credit score. I called Sound Physicians for a week with no response until today. They then told me that my insurance had never paid the bill. I called my insurance and they said that they paid all outstanding bills 3/16/2022. We called Sound Physicians again and insurance stated that they had no bills from them. Sound Physician would not state that it wasn't sent but could not give an exact date that it was sent. They stated that they would request the bill to be submitted and a hold on the collections but refused to do anything further to close the collections until the bill is paid. As a result my credit score has dropped dramatically due to their continual errors and we still have no confirmation they have resent it. Sound Physician keeps stating they will send it but as yet they keep being unable to verify and I am being penalized due to their incompetence.

      I went to the ** in Jan of 2022 and had some tests run. I have medical insurance and received the bill months later which I paid. About 6 months later, I get a separate bill from sounds physicians. I called the hospital to ask if I had any outstanding balances and they said no I was paid in full. I just don't know why I am getting a bill from this company nor why my insurance wouldn't have covered this balance. when I call this company nothing sounds legitimate. They just constantly send me a bill and want my bank information which I don't feel comfortable giving to these people. I need to know why am I responsible to pay them.

      I received a collection notice in October of 2022 from Sound physicians for services from 10/2020. I had never gotten a bill about this. I contacted the number on the collection notice to find out why this had not gone through my insurance ( of which I had a primary and a secondary). They had no information on what this was for, where it was from, or if it had been billed. I asked for an itemized bill they could not provide one. I have insurance but this company cant run it because they did not bill me until 2 years later? This is shoddy business dealing and at this points I am not sure this is even a legitimate bill.

      On 07/25/2021 I was seen by a Sound Physicians Emergency Medicine of South **************** in ***** **** I presented them with my insurance card. In October of 2022 I received a collections letter for $1,196.00. I had NEVER received an invoice previously. I phoned the Dr ******* **** and they had no record of ever seeing my. I phoned ***************************, the collection agency assigned to my "case" I requested proof of an invoice. In November of 2022, they sent me some paper you could hardly read showing that amount, but an incorrect account number. I phoned the Dr ****** again, and they were able to access my account this time. Not by any account number provided to me. I requested a copy and and proof it was submitted to my insurance company. The had opened a case for me as well. They couldn't email it, they would have to send ***** I searched through my insurance company (Cigna) website and low and behold, the bill was there! What they neglected to report was that as an Out Of Network provider, they were still under contractual obligation to discount the price by $980.30. My amount due should have been $215.37. When I brought this to their attention, they miraculously corrected my account and and I promptly paid. Based on the number of complaints on the same exact issue, it is my believe that this company routinely uses these unethical if not criminal billing practices to circumvent their agreements with the insurance companies. I have attached all documentation With that, it is still reported as in "collections" on my credit report. I am formally demanding this is correct immediately

      I am receiving multiple text from Sound Physician stating they will be 'filing a claim with the insurance on file and to click a link to confirm information on file is correct'. I have no idea who this is or what type of claim they are attempting to file. I did not click on the link because it is very strange to respond to a billing inquiry re text.

      The introductory text message was sent inviting the patient to view the account, make updates to demographics and insurance. I confirmed that on 12/6/22 a message was received back opting out of all text messages. All future communications will be done through the mail.

      I have SOUND INPATIENT PHYS MI **** showing up on my credit, it should not be there. I've had 100 coverage for ******** for years. This is effecting my ability to get a home. Please have them stop.

      I keep receiving a bill and was sent to collection for a grossly overcharged doctors appointment from 2/13/2020. I had a extremely painful surgery a few day before that appointment. My original surgeons office sent me to the hospital at Norther ****** Medical for a prescription refill, due to my surgeon being out of town. I had insurance and they paid the bill minus their contracted savings. Then I start getting text form MyDocBill on Sound Physicians behalf. I ****** MyDocBill and it come up as scam alert. Nonetheless I reach out to them and Sound Physicians by phone and e-mail. No less than 20 e-mail and more phone calls than I can count. I asked for a breakdown of what they did for $1200. They would never send a breakdown only more bills. To be clear the total bill was over $1200, $630 of that was from Sound Physicians. Its the $630 that they keep harassing me over. A bill that was already paid for a grossly overcharge.After communicating with them for months I find they turned me over to collection. I called and e-mailed MyDocBills and Sound Physicians. They agreed that I didnt owe the money and had it removed from my credit. I got an e-mail form them stating that I have a zero balance and owe nothing. This was a relief after months of back and forth with them.Fast forward several months later and I start getting the same bill again. This time I reach out to my insurance and find that they had already paid Sound Physicians. And now they are trying to get paid again. I sent several more e-mails and several more phone calls. I get told they will be looking into it and will get back to me. Now today 11/18/2022 I just received another bill for the same $630 that was already settled by my insurance. They also tried billing my insurance again for the same visit and got denied. This is insurance fraud at its core. All this over a prescription refill. I could go on buy I'm out of characters allowed on this form.

      ******* who was billed as primary payer the patient did not have active coverage at the time of service, then claim was billed to ******** but denied as patient could not be identified and the claim was resubmitted after 180 days filing limit. The claim has been adjusted.
